I got a regular order 1 fish and fries( not original type of chips) with 2 ounces of cole slaw. $11.95 Beside the cole slaw being small, it was not very good. Too sour. The fish was a bit under cook...it was too moist but passable. The other fish & chip joint gives you 2 piece with real chips. I did pick up a steak/mushroom pastry for home very good. If you do not like driving 20-30 minutes for fish and chips this is a good place. Service bright and cheery. read more

This place is to die for. The fish and chips are incredible and the Philly cheesesteaks blew me away. I come here every single week and am constantly impressed. Not to mention, just sitting down and eating so many people who try it for the first time are super complimentary and vow to return. I've been here twice. Once before the quarantine and then again the other day during quarantine Each time it was take out. First time the fish and chips were a soggy mess. Second time I ordered via their takeout on website. Chose 6:30 as pickup time. Which was confirmed. While going to pick up I got an email stating order would not be ready until 7:00. We drove around to kill time. Arrived at 6:55 and were rudely told that they were waiting for us to pick up the order at 6:30. What the heck, seriously. Went to Pete's English Fish and chips on DelPrado Blvd. this past weekend there were just two couples dining in this small but clean storefront restaurant. Been to this place once before and the fish and chips were good. This time, the fish was greasy and definitely not fresh. It was frozen and tasted freezer burned. They charge $15 bucks a plate for freezer burned frozen fish that was even worst then what you get in the freezer aisle of a supermarket. That's some nerve! I am giving this place 2 stars because their coleslaw was good. In any case I will never return to this place. I hate to write this review cause this restaurant may be struggling being they are a English fish & chips restaurant now serving frozen fish. Whoever the owner is, should hire someone to manage quality control because the the low class woman working there appears to want to sabotage this place serving gross fish like that! Well grew up in England and saw this fish and chip shop so gave it a try. Ordered the regular traditional fish and chips. The cod was a bit dry but I did like the packaging as brought back memories. My partner had the regular shrimp which were perfectly cooked and delicious. The store products are overpriced so won't be buying my "treats" there. We did ask for cocktail sauce for shrimp which sadly was missing when we got home. Thanks for the memories will give them a second chance to eat there. read more

Found this while visiting a friend in the hospital. Was such a nice surprise. Better at the store than taking home, but the fish and shrimp travel surprisingly well, they wrap your meal in something like newspaper that absorbs the steam keeping the food crispy. OMG! We just went to eat at Pete's Fish & Chips yesterday after a long hiatus. What a great meal! It's been about a year since we've been in and we were craving those fish and chips so we made a lunch date. Pete's Fish and Chips restaurant isn't a huge place, only about 8 tables to sit at. We entered the store and were greeted. I usually get the large fish and chips, but I decided on the #2 combo, which is the small fish and chips and a piece of chicken for $8.95. That's only 1 dollar more than the small fish and chips. We also got two cans of diet coke, which are $1.25 each, a little pricy in my eyes. It didn't take long at all for us to get our food. We ordered the spicy ranch to go with our chicken. It was delicious. The cole slaw was better today than I'd remembered in the past. I love their chips (French fries), they're so crispy and fresh. The fish was good, a little more oily than I'd remembered from the last time. I really liked the chicken, very juicy. After eating the #2 we were both stuffed.
