Nail tech was very rude. She was yelling at the other staff the whole time I was at the salon. I sat in the chair for over an hour before they even touched my feet. This would have been ok but they for some reason they drained my water 10 minutes in and never replaced it until they came back to do my feet. They were so busy there was none I could bring this issue up too. Then once it was my turn, she proceeded to make mean comments about my toes and how weird my nails were. Then make horrible comments about my feet and saying they were terrible loud enough for the whole place and everyone in it to hear. I explained that they last place I went to didn't to the best job and she then proceeded to inform me I just have terrible feet and should take better care of them. I get monthly pedicures as well as shave my callous skin at home routinely I feel that I was bullied the whole time and that it was very unprofessional. I understand if you think my feet need extra love, but you do not explain this to the whole salon and make the customer feel uncomfortable. read more

He's meticulous, his filing is perfect, and he's pickier than I am about my nails! I felt like I'd died and gone to heaven! You know trying a new anything, but especially a new nail tech, can be nerve wracking, but Dior exceeded my expectations. BEWARE THE GOOD REVIEWS!!! I don't know whether these 5 star reviews are fake, but I have been getting my nails done consistently for over a decade, and this was by far the WORST experience I've ever had. When I walked in, the salon was dingy and had a pitiful color selection. As soon as I sat down, the nail lady tried to pull my engagement ring off of my finger saying "how much? how much?", which should have been my cue to leave. After I got her to stop, she gave me the ugliest acrylic nails I have ever seen in my life and cut my finger in the process. Too thick, ugly pink and white, bubbles in the clear gel coat, etc. Another worker even said they were ugly, but nobody fixed them. Once I got into the pedicure chair, I was only allowed to soak for about five seconds before they started in on my toes. They cut my toenails WAY too short and dug in WAY too deep on the sides. Then she brought out the grater. She was using it way too hard on my heels to begin with, but then she moved to the soft sides of my feet. I told her it hurt and pulled my feet away repeatedly, but she wouldn't stop. I ended up standing up halfway though the pedicure to leave because I couldn't take the pain anymore. Then the next morning, a weird red itchy bump appeared on the side of my foot where she had been using the grater, and it won't go away. I ended up paying $80 for ugly nails and gross feet. Now I'm down even more money after going to my usual salon in Little Rock to get my nails fixed. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon in my entire life. I am NEVER going back to Famous Nails. read more

My husband took me and my mother-in-law here for pedicures. We decided on this place because of the overall 4 star yelp review. The visit started out nice. The three of us were able to sit together. Two of the workers started on them and I waited patiently to be served. We were in no rush! After about 15 minutes, a worker walked over and worked on my pedicure. Approximately 20 minutes into my pedicure, another customer is seated next to me. She stressed to another worker the importance of her adult daughter sitting next to her so they could get pedicures together. The worker said OK and began working with her. There were no seats available and the place was now crowded. The customer next to me after 5 minutes said something again about her daughter sitting next to her. The worker did not understand English so the worker who was doing my pedicure responded to her. The worker told her that they would work it out. After about 10 minutes, the customer sitting next to me complained again. At this point, you are ruining my pedicure. The worker who was doing my pedicure said her daughter could sit where I was once she was done. Then, she sped up my pedicure to accommodate the complaining customer. So, I finally complained because while my husband and mother-in-law were enjoying there pedicures, my mood was interrupted by a nagging customer! My experience was horrible! We were paying customers just like the lady seated next to me. Yet, my pedicure was shortened and my mood fizzled. The worker tried to apologize. I really was not hearing it! Why in the world is it okay to rush through my pedicure? Mine was done before my mother-in-law was finished and her worker started way before mine. And to the unruly customer sitting next to me, you are a nuisance. Enjoy the fact that you ruined someone else's special moment. To the owners of the business, make sure your workers understand everyone deserves their time slot. Stop rushing through pedicures. Give customers your undivided attention! The staff was very friendly and accommodating; however, my gel manicure was bad. I went this afternoon (on Sunday) right before the shop got crowded. My manicure felt rushed. By 8pm Sunday night, my "shellac" nail polish was already peeling and the color appears to be fading. I plan to go back tomorrow and show the woman that did my manicure and have her fix it. For price they charged, this shellac manicure should look top notch and should last longer than 5 hours. read more

I always get wax services here but I have only had a pedicure in the past. I left another nail salon due to awful customer service and drove straight here. Hannah is so accommodating and patient. No matter how many people are waiting you will receive top notch service. When I walked in I told them I was there to have my nails dipped. They showed me all of the swatches & how the numbering system worked. After a 10-15 minute wait Hannah started on my nails. She does great work. I am very satisfied with my nails. Besides Famous Nails, the only other place I've been to in Conway to get my nails done was Forever Nails over by Target (AWFUL.. do not go there). So compared to that, anything would be an improvement. I really liked this place. Everyone is very friendly and they even offer you something to drink while you're there. My only issue was that I went in clearly wanting just a basic manicure and the lady kept trying to sell me the dip powder manicure. I told her that I may try that another time, but she kind of ignored my request and tried to start the dip powder. After I told her again that wasn't what I wanted, she seemed a lot less enthusiastic and not as friendly towards me. Other than that, everything was good. This place is by far the best anywhere in Conway. All the people are very nice. They try to do what you want w your nails, they have many kinds of drinks they give you for free while they pamper you. Not expensive either. They never seem to take a break they're so busy. And the owners are excellent artists. They can do great designs. And they have good sense of humors and I like that. read more

I got a $35 gift certificate from someone for Christmas so my friend and I decided to go get our nails done. When I arrived, I showed Hannah the picture of what I wanted. Just a basic pink to white ombré coffin set. She told me it would be $50. No problem. I sat down and the guy started doing my nails. When he went to cut them, I asked him to cut them a little longer. He cut them the length I wanted but by the time he was done filing, they were a lot shorter than what I wanted. Only two of my nails (the thumb nails) actually fit my nails. All of the other ones did not fit properly. They ended up charging me $30 on top of the $35 gift certificate even though I was originally told they were only gonna be $50 all together. That's my fault for not speaking up and asking why they were charging so much though. 2 days after I got them done, one broke in half. About 5 days after I got them done, they started popping off. I decided to go ahead and take all of them off after 3 had popped off and one had broken because I was over it. They came off easier than any set of glue ons I've ever used. Have been going there a long time but last 2 sets of acrylic nails in just 2 months popped off. All of them. My nails are now ruined. Always have a very long wait of an hour or more and their service has been going down hill in the last couple of years. When this last set popped off I decided I wasn't going back. When I was in for a fill a week ago the girl Hannah put me with had a really shitty attitude and put very little acrylic on my nails. The very next day a nail popped off. Today the gentleman who does fingers was the one I got. He did a pretty good job. I brought my own predesigned nails and it was all good. He did an amazing job of getting them done. This was my 2nd visit there and I will NOT go back. Although the environment id clean and everyone is pleasant and attentive, I got overcharged, and was not listened too. I went in and told them I wanted just a gel polish change on my nails and a basic pedicure which should of been $45 and instead he charged me for a manicure and I have no idea what else but they got $65 out of that and the young man who did my pedi needs to leave it to the women! They do a great job on your nails but there is usually a wait. However, it's worth the wait. I made the mistake of going somewhere else on a Sunday when I went in and there was an hour wait at Famous Nails. The other place messed my nails up so badly! I called famous nails on my way to the car. Hannah told me to come in at a certain time. She was sweet and quick. She took off the hooved up layers of shellac (the previous salon attempted to use ) professionally and correctly and redid my manicure quickly. It looked great. She was tired and the store was still very busy, but she took care of me. In the process she made a loyal customer. Thank you Hannah for going above and beyond when you could have said no. read more

The wait time is awful and Hannah will take other customers in front of you in a heartbeat if you don't speak up. I've been going to this nail shop for over 4 years and lately I've experienced favoritism with certain customers on many occasions over the past 6 months. One example, my daughter and I had already waited for 1 hour, 4 ladies came in and said they had an appointment, but I was told they didn't take appointments on weekends. Hannah comes over to ask me if I would wait 30 minutes because these ladies have an appointment. I told her no and she was okay with us leaving, but one of the ladies said it's okay we don't mind waiting. Otherwise she had no problem with us walking out of the door. Another lady and her daughter who had come in after us left when they overheard the conversation. On another occasion I had been waiting for 1 hour when another customer had to point out to the owner that "she was here before I got here". I've recommended this shop to several people, friends and coworkers, but I will no longer recommend this place. They are also overcharging so watch out for the cost. I received a manicure and gel polish on my natural nails. Not only did the lady who did my nails continue to tell me what shape would look best on my nails despite me telling her exactly what I wanted, but she cut my nails so much shorter than I was wanting as well (despite me also telling her what length I wanted over and over again). Her process of doing my nails was ALL OVER THE PLACE. She did not do all of the steps of a manicure. She would paint one nail with gel then stick it in the machine one at a time and not in order. The polish on my nails ended up pealing off the day after and my natural nails started to break off! I'm so upset! I've never had gel polish peel off. I'm from out of town and it makes me EXTREMELY GRATEFUL for my nail tech in Fayetteville. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. read more

The most expensive and the worst pedicure I have ever had! I came in today, on a Saturday morning, and they were relatively busy which I had expected and was ok with waiting. I was greeted immediately and told it would be a little bit before I could be serviced which I understood. I had been waiting about 20 minutes and then 3 people came in, 2 of which were requesting pedicures as well and were walk ins, just as I was. The owner however immediately seated them and their pedicures began. I was seated about five minutes later. I then sat with wilted feet in the cold water for the entire duration of these other 2 clients that came in 20 minutes after I did! Finally I was serviced. I requested a deluxe pedicure and it was completely rushed and did not last longer than 30 minutes. The woman doing my pedicure tapped her leg the ENTIRE duration and checked the time every minute or 2. I was treated as if I was an inconvenience to her and she had better things to do. Everyone elses pedicures were twice as long as the one I had received! I am a paying customer too and not sure why I was rushed and treated the way I was. I then requested shellac as my polish choice, something that cost me $15 extra and it was rushed and sloppy. The corners of my nails barely have any polish on them, there is a big bubble on my big toe and the entire paint job looks sloppy and uneven. It's already starting to peel back. I cannot believe how much I was charged for this and that they feel it's ok to rush me the way they did and leave me with sloppy looking toes that I am actually embarrassed of. No one batted an eye in there regarding this. Now I'm out $65 and don't even want to wear sandals! I do not reccomend this place. I work hard for my money and feel as though I just threw it in the trash today. read more

My daughter and I go here for pedicures. Their deluxe pedicure is the same price as a regular pedicure at some nail salons in town so that is what we get. It's a great deal! We love it!
