At first glance, the store seemed a bit small, which turned out to be incorrect; however, even though they had a good many things, including a very pretty wash basin and vanity desk, the place also served as a sort of boutique with lotions, soaps and other items to delight their older customers. As serious antique customers, we prefer real antique stores and unfortunately did not find that had to have item. I think it says something when the customer, after walking a third of the store, starts looking up other antique stores to visit next. It was worth stopping by; however, we will not be adding Wirewood Market to our favorites list for yearly trips.

Pricing is fair, although some items such as vintage Santa and Elf figurines were priced higher here than other local thrift shops in the area. There is a restroom available to customers who shop here. I didn't purchase anything today, but my mom found a bunch of stuff. She was ecstatic to find three Putz Houses (Paper Houses) that she had to buy. Two were selling for $12.95 each and the other for $4.95. The staff were great and gently wrapped all of my mom's items to protect them for the trip back to NY. The store is immaculate and decorated beautifully, we easily spent 45-mn to an hour here. They also have a little coffee station available for customers shopping here and the coffee is very good. There is a lot to see here and if you know anyone who owns a log cabin or cottage, bring them with you because they will be in heaven! I highly recommend stopping here if you happen to be shopping in the area. I know it won't be our last time shopping here.

This shop is overwhelming in a PHENOM way! We were immediately greeted and told not to hesitate with questions or offers. I fell in love with so many items and they didn't have huge price tags but if I was ready to purchase, I would def try to get a lower price. Everything had so much character. In the back, the huge warehouse housing tables and chairs to pianos to dressers was awesome. It was not air conditioned but that was ok, I hardly noticed as I was checking out all the details in the amazing wood pieces. There was even a black cat roaming around that just added a nice flair of character. You could also see the area where they do restoration and fix pieces. I am still thinking about a dresser that was this amazing green color and I possibly may head back to check it out. The furniture didn't feel random or thrown together. Each piece looked like it had its own personality. There was a carved cabinet that felt almost regal, a chunky table that seemed like it could survive anything, and these little decorative pieces that looked like they'd been collected with intention, not just ordered out of a catalog. You get the sense that the inventory has traveled more than most people. The bar in the back wasn't open when I stopped by because I was there earlier in the day, but he explained the schedule. The Imperial Bar opens Wednesday through Sunday in the evenings, usually starting around 5 pm. So daytime has this calm, treasure-hunt vibe, and nighttime turns the place into a cozy little hangout tucked inside a furniture store. It's one of those spots where one visit makes you feel like you stumbled onto something special.

And I was definitely delighted once I got there... room after room, building after building... full of every Christmas item you could think of, from sacred and soulful to sparkly and shimmery... and everything in between. There were so many trees, decorated in so many themes, with so many accessories, for the rest of the room. I've never seen anything so holly and jolly in the retail world. It really was a feast for the senses (cue the Who's to start singing). There were some really beautiful things-and some prices were high... or at least higher than you'd expect. There were some blue and white cone trees that took my breath away. I'd almost sell my car for those. They were breathtaking-as is so much of this store. And it's not just the merchandise, but the way they've displayed it, as well. It will definitely get you in the holiday spirit... without drinking any holiday spirits. And if the merch doesn't do that, the sweet staff will. They are dedicated and invested in this business... and seem to take great joy in helping customers. No wonder it's survived 50+ years. Santa's smiling at them. It's an easy drive from Tampa... about 90 minutes, give or take. It might be even shorter/easier from the east coast. There's ample parking and truly, something for everyone. But if it's not your style, they have many trees you can buy and all sorts of stuff to adorn it with. I really liked all the lights. They had huge stars for the lawn and large balls of light to hang as well as firework shaped lights. Very cool. I picked up a tea towel. It was $9.99. I didn't have a need for any of the big stuff but I was fascinated by the designs and color schemes etc. The owner said they've been open for over 50 years. She also mentioned they do business with the theme parks. Pro tip- they start Christmas in July! So that's when the store is stocked full of everything. So shop early for the best selection. They do not ship because things can break and the shipping and insurance is expensive. So while they have a website, it does not have their items and you cannot buy online. So- stop by! I would give an hour just to peruse. If you're buying - it could be a few hours. Also- they have other holiday stuff (Halloween, Fourth of July, etc)and silk flowers for arrangements etc. They also have furniture, many large planters and vases. There's always something that catches our eyes when we are there and we have to think about quickly. They sell right off the floor so there's usually something different each time we visit. The staff is always helpful and in the past has shown us things we might like based on past purchases. There may have been a recent staff change as we didn't recognize the sales personnel that was there on the most recent visit. I wish we had a bigger house with more rooms so we can load it up with some more stuff from here. It's good quality stuff which comes with a higher price tag, but will most likely last for years beyond some of the particle board crap at the other stores (we own that too and is already falling apart).

(fact) We placed and paid in full a substantial sum for furniture and accessories in October of 2023 and were promised delivery of all in December, 6-8 weeks later. As of this writing (September 2024) we have only received a small portion of the order and have for months been given every imaginable excuse one could conjure up, flat out lied too as to the status and whereabouts of our order. Right at Home is now refusing to refund the balance of our payment for items not delivered, forcing us to go to Seminole County Court to seek collection in Civil Court. Our suggestion to all customers considering doing business with this company, think twice and research similar complaints. IMO, once a liar/cheater always a liar/cheat with no regard for others. The extensive selection of lights consists of table lamps (e.g., typical lamps and colorful leather lamps with henna accents), ceiling fixtures (e.g., stained glass or metal), and hanging lamps in stained glass or metal. For those unfamiliar with Moroccan decor, I am posting lots of pictures because a picture, especially in this case, is worth a thousand words (or more). These Moroccan accents are pricey, some very pricy, but the prices are cheaper than a trip to Morocco. In addition to the exotic and pricey items, the store also offers a few cheaper touristy items. For example, the store sells cheap, gold-tone genie lanterns. The store is small and crams lots of wares in its limited space, even stacking items on top of each other. Given the crowded wages, be careful with large purses and children because and accident for the unwary is likely. Additionally, some sections are more dimly lit than others, adding to the potential for accidents.
