He is an excellent physician and surgeon. I simply didn't feel like I had enough information and never got a print out to go over once I got home - I find this is helpful for patients - I did have one cataract removal in May--he uses Grand Valley Surgical Center on Leonard (not a great experience there) and the results were less than what I expected - both in outcome and in following up with conversations about what to expect. The office is small with one doctor. His wife works the front desk, is extremely busy and not the most patient when you get on her nerves. You should expect to wait a while for your appointment. One good thing I can say is that if Dr. W sees something you need done, he will usually treat you on the spot at that time, rather than making you wait weeks, months, etc. Mainly, I had a problem understanding their English with a very thick Chinese accent. I don't feel I was completely informed - perhaps because of poor communication skills. They seem understaffed and overworked, which is probably the reason I left. I will be moving to another Eye Center to care for my visual needs. I do, however, wish them both the best.
