I was the driver for this elderly woman, who is also in a wheelchair. In addition, I recently had shoulder surgery so operating with one arm, the other in a large sling. We arrived 9 minutes late, for an early morning appt, there were no other people in the waiting room, not even one. She simply said Doctor can't fit you in today he's very busy. You are 10 minutes late. At first I thought she was joking, due to that fact that we were the only ones in the waiting room. But she said no, you must reschedule. Absolutely ZERO compassion for this woman or what it takes to get to her to appointments. I apologized for being late, and asked if she could please try to fit her in.
