I drive from South Phoenix to see Jennifer Francyk and her assistant Katie since 2021. I have been seeking the help for my health all over Phoenix and never found a the help I needed nor attention I needed . I was refered to Alisha Riggs to her departure from the clinic. I was then given Jennifer Francyk let me tell you she is a "beautiful caring" person that listens and gets the help you need. she never gave up proceed to seek help untill it's found. I am very pleased and greatful for her treatment with Family Practice location. I got a text she will no longer be with Family Practice and let me tell you it breaks my heart because I found the right person to help me when everyone said I looked great and wasn't sick. I would have given zero stars if that was an option. I recently got new insurance with a new job and was looking to establish a PCP. First, they are nurse practitioners in this office, NOT doctors, second I needed a referral to the dermatologist. The nurse I was assigned to, Farrow, went straight to recommending GLP???? I don't have any weight related health issues and that was not why I was there. He would ask me a question, then interrupt, and not listen to my answer. He said I was going to need to update my blood work, so the day before my app. I called to ask if I needed to fast. The first 2 times I called I pushed option 4 for general questions and after a long period of waiting the call just hung up. Then I called back, pushed option 2 for scheduling, hoping to get a person. I did....sorta. Someone would pick up periodically and say, "Please hold". 45 minutes later I hung up. I called back, option 2, again "Please hold", eventually a female answered. I asked if I needed to fast, she said she was transferring me. She sent me to a VM. I left a VM, but called back because at this point it was 11 and I wanted to know if I could eat. Again, option 2, please hold, wait, etc. When the same female answered I said I just wanted to know if I can eat she said, "Oh, you're getting a physical. I thought you were just having blood work." This told me she didn't bother to look me up the first time before transferring me to VM. At this point I told her to cancel my app. I will find another office, with an MD who listens and competent administrative staff. This office needs less patients, not more. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND read more

Been two weeks since annual visit wanting to get blood work done to test labs. Have not heard back on where results are. Called in to ask why I haven't gotten results back, front desk hung up mid explanation and forwarded me to NP / PA voicemail who has not gotten back yet either. Very rude front desk staff and poor experience overall, would not recommend this business as place to get health properly checked. read more

Beware of the yearly $49 annual fee charge. They charged me on my first appointment. Catherine Montgomery is the worst "doctor" I have ever seen. She told me that since I have a history of diabetes in my family I better get use to the idea of taking diabetic medication. I said "that's it? You don't want to tell me about improving my health or how to lessen my chances of diabetes?" She said no, it's inevitable that I will have diabetes and I should just start to take the medication now. What?! I am not even in bad health what the heck is this lady talking about? That's so weird. Horrible advise. This lady only cares about Botox and lip injections, which is obvious by looking at her duck lips. She is super arrogant and c--ty. I have been a patient at FPS for over ten years. I have always been satisfied with the care I have received from Kate Montgomery, but I cannot say the same for the lab and billing department. I had my annual wellness physical a few months ago, and the lab erroneously coded the charges as diagnostic instead of wellness. As a result, my insurance denied payment. Messaging with the lab has been fruitless, and talking to anyone on the phone is next to impossible. If anybody at the practice pays attention to these reviews, please do something. The amount in question is not huge, but it is a mistake and needs to be fixed ASAP, as LabCorp wants money that I shouldn't have to pay. read more

Along with Katie, her expert clinical assistant, I applaud how well they take care of me! Takes blood test, during the one visit [two visits per year], is supposed to call and talk over the results. Over three years, I was only called once. The guy could barely talk English. I asked about A1C and said he would get back to me [never did]; no call after last visit. Providers in the past took blood tests before visits, so they would have something to discuss. O' well, all need someone to sign off on my prescriptions as I have other Doctors that take care of my health. Their web page is difficult to navigate read more

I was able to get my blood work done at the doctors office which is a big plus. I don't have to go to an outside lab. I liked my doctor very much. I highly recommend the practice. read more

I have had 2 issues recently with doctor referrals in the past month. 1 was for CT and 1 was referral to specialist. Effective 2026 my insurance is requiring doctor referrals and the staff at the office say I don't need one. My insurance company called my doctor's office and was told no doctors there when I was just told he was there. Insurance said I should file a grievance. She gave me a phone number for doctor to call and do referral. I called the office to advise and the person hung up on me. I was on the phone for 3 hours between calls to insurance and doctor's office. Now I need a referral to specialist. I called and left a message and sent a message on the patient portal. No response!!! I guess someone in the office only does them Monday, but I had previously got a text from a staff member saying that has not how they do referrals. That changed 2026. I responded you obviously do not care about the health of your patients. When you are in pain and have a CT ordered you don't want to wait weeks!!! If I would not have been persistent it would not have happened. The results show I need to see a specialist but now can't get a referral on that!! read more

Family Practice Specialists gave my private medical information to a telemarketer a decade after I left for another doctor. I recently received repeated harassing calls from a telemarketer who was hired by Dr. Francyk to try and sell me a weight loss study. He's never been my doctor, and I've never heard of him, and he had no right to access my medical records or disclose them to a third party. I saw Dr. Wyse, his colleague, a few times a decade ago and in a different location. I wasn't happy with the care I received from him and his staff, and asked them in writing to transfer my records to a new provider. They didn't, and ten years later Francyk is siccing telemarketers on me and who knows how many others because he's apparently so hard up for money that he needs to sell us these "weight loss studies" and who knows what other snake oil. read more

My PCP is retiring so I had to locate a new PC. I was referred to Catherine Montgomery at Family Practice Specialists. She is hands down the BEST and is making sure all my issues are dealt with in a timely manner. Very Professional and I am able to see her as needed. Additionally, her Assistant Janet is so caring and sees that what I need is handled right away. If one is looking for a female practitioner try Catherine Montgomery. I was referred by Barbara Nees and was extremely grateful she sent me here. The office staff was on top of things, professional and personable. I hate leaving bad reviews but I'm so disappointed in this doctor office. I had requested a specific lab test that they confirmed was doable. I live 55 minutes away from the office only to have them call me TWO MINUTES before telling me they in fact do not offer this and to find a naturopath who would. Mind you, this appointment has been booked for over 2 weeks!! I called back to have them remove me as a patient explaining how far I drove and how unprofessional they handled this situation and not a single apology was given. What a disappointment. read more

I've been seen here for years by Kate, FNP and Jennifer, PA. I believe I have received exceptional care and have always reached the best medical outcomes. The staff at the front desk always greets me warmly and explains the administrative procedures very clearly. My recent visit during the pandemic gave me reassurance that the facility was practicing the highest level of precautionary measures. Everyone was masked, including patients. Social distancing was in place. Signs were in place indicating that sick patients should schedule video visits, which ensures the safety other patients and staff. Sanitary measures being taken as well. I'm highly impressed by their reaction to this pandemic! I will continue to be seen in this office as well as refer my friends and family to this practice. read more

Beware of duplicate unneeded tests being run without them informing you. Also office manager does not follow up. I did a maintenance medication switch and was told some new labs would need to be done. Then get a lab bill for $250 which was more than the first time. 3 tests were needless duplicates. I left a message for the office manager to investigate. After two weeks no response. To make matters worse, they charge a $49 annual bullshit fee. It's for the website use blah blah blah, but if you use the website for new or refill prescriptions they mess that up to. I've paid for three months of medication and have only gotten two a couple of times. Family practice specialists, I can no no longer afford what you seem to specialize in and that's numerous costly mistakes effecting your patients. read more

I have been fallowing Dr. Wyse for over 20 years. I am picky and he answers my questions and he has a good bed side manner. Good people skills. His office if full service for most things. I like that I do not have to go somewhere else to get blood work or an x-ray. I am totally ok with paying the yearly fee. I am a business owner and profits margins are not what they use to be for any line of work and insurance is killing us all. This a common practice in many doctors offices these days. I absolutely love Dr. Gloyd, but will no longer be seeing anyone in this practice. I feel that it is unethical to charge $50 per year just for the honor of being one of their patients. Insurance is expensive enough and still having to pay a co-pay as well as meet a deductible. Your practice gets an amount from the insurance just to have me as a patient. Shame on you Family Practice Specialists! I'm so sick and tired of the monkeys that work in this office. They are incredibly unorganized, confused, untrained and CARELESS! Really, the only one that shows any concern and intelligence is Jennifer, but she has to rely on the competence of the staff. Even though Jennifer takes marching orders from the worthless office manager, I must give her compliments, she has helped me tremendously and seems to genuinely care about her patients. The problem is the office staff, they are atrocious to deal with. You have to S P E L L everything out to them because they have the care and attention span of a preschool child. After being repeatedly ignored and given wrong information I called to speak with the manager. Now I see where the problems start and end, you can't expect a group of people to be any better than the management...After sharing my frustration and concerns with the manager I thanked her for returning my voice mail. She is so mature, has such an extraordinary talent in dealing with her own employees that she decided I wasn't going to be treated by the practice anymore. So, instead of fixing the problems with HER staff, she told Jennifer to send me a certified letter stating I'm no longer a patient there. That's admirable, instead of dealing with the problems in your office, you just fire the patient! Typical Rockefeller cabal disease care. Sadly, I was relieved to not have to deal with these monkeys anymore and I established care with another facility. You should also be aware that there is a $49 admin fee that they charge annually, because they don't get paid enough by the insurance companies - AKA GREED. This is an unethical charge that is not covered by insurance and when you ask about it you get a laundry list of excuses making it sound like it's for YOUR benefit - Malarky!! Flat out, it's unethical and it's driven by greed. I'm leaving this review in hopes that the company changes or goes out of business eventually. Though, I'm quite certain that the current disease care system that we have is going to tank at some point. We just have to be patient enough for that to come to fruition. read more

First let me say that I love Catherine O'Neill. She listened to me, does not push me to do something just because, and I appreciate that. Having said that, my experience with the front office has been less than enjoyable. I have never been called before waiting 30 minutes in the outer office after my appointment time. The last time I went in for a check up, I was running a little late due to early morning traffic (I drive in from Gilbert), so I called the office to let them know I was on my way but was running a few minutes behind schedule. I was brusquely informed that if I was more than 15 after my appointment time, I would have to reschedule. Needless to say, I lit up like a Roman Candle, after all the times I had been early for my appointment to wait in the waiting room for 30 to 45 minutes, to tell me that I would have to reschedule was just insulting. I made it to my appointment 10 minutes past my time, as it turned out, and still I waited 20 minutes in the waiting room before being called back. What this means is that I still would have waited in the waiting room for 40 minutes before being called back. Now I am getting text message, emails, and robo calls to make my next yearly appointment. I went to their website to request an appointment and requested my days and appointment times. This was last Wednesday, October 9, 2019. I have not received a confirmation text, email, or phone call with one of my requested days. But I did receive a robo call asking me to schedule my yearly appointment. I'm done. Pros for this office is that they have a lab and a DEXA scan machine, so you can get lab work done and a bone scan without having to go somewhere else. And Catherine is great. Wish I could transport her to a Gilbert office because I am moving my business closer to home. read more

I used to be a patient until I started to have some serious concerns about my health. Two different doctors here ignored my symptoms and told me all I needed was to start taking vitamins. I know doctors never really listen to you but here I felt as if I didn't even matter and was more of a bother than a patient. Would not recommend. read more
