I really like the…read moregenuine kind & positive energy atmosphere (not over-the-top fakey-fake, the team has great working relationships with each other & it is passed on to patients). The ladies (especially Ebony) at the front desk are friendly, efficient, and are willing to work with a client if there's an issue, as long as it's quickly resolved (I forgot my wallet on my first visit). As I come from afar, it's appreciated when the staff is able to work with me if the traffic is horrible (beyond my control, although I give myself 1.5 hrs to commute from south of Olympia, normally 45 min. drive). A++ The therapy technologists are always ready to help, know exactly which exercises to do, how to smoothly transition from one to the next, making it an easier process, and creates a routine for patients to follow- kind of like learning a choreography. My therapist Lani has been invaluable: immediately immersing me in the scientific knowledge regarding my condition, ecstatically answering my many minute detailed questions, and giving me as much detailed information as my brain could absorb (she's passionate about sharing info). This valuably deepened my time, investment, & working with her has been a life changing experience for the better, as I'm able to understand my condition, limits, & how to overcome them in healthy & productive ways vs. continuing to damage & push thru pain. She is VERY GOOD at making hand braces & ensuring they fit right. I had a major plumbing issue a few days after receiving them, and after 3 days of shoveling, my hands & wrists were irritated, but not thoroughly trashed due to the braces' protection & the exercises I had been doing to strengthen my fingers. The next day my hands recovered after a heated tens session, exercises, and adhesion scraping Lani did after carefully evaluating the damage. Overall, I 100% recommend SSPT & IRG to anyone who may need the services they offer. It was definitely worth my time commuting the 1.5 hrs thru bad traffic to get there. THANK YOU IRG & South Sound Physical Therapy! Thank you to your entire staff!

She even let me know that the practice would take the hit and cover the portion my insurance was supposed to cover for my splints if insurance decided not to cover it. I was beyond impressed with this place and would have recommended it to anyone and everyone at the time. It is rare to see a practice go out of its way to make sure its patients get the proper care, even if it affects them. However, after my experiences with the front desk, I do not ever plan to return. I received a bill that was over $100, which was not a surprise, and I was fine with. I had, however, asked to see the itemized receipt on multiple occasions and was not provided with this information as I had asked. One of the receptionists I spoke with the most about this itemized bill seemed to get very distracted easily. Before the itemized bill became a problem, he asked for my Instagram, and after I said no, he continuously flirted with me. I just tried to stay friendly and ignored it since he didn't show any harmful intentions. His flirtatiousness had only become a problem once the issue of the bill had arisen. He said he would communicate with my hand therapist about this bill and what items were charged, and he never once got back to me. I ended up paying this bill without an itemized receipt, which was very frustrating to say the least. After I had finished my therapy, I had come across another issue. Another receptionist had told me to ignore the bills I was getting in the mail, as I had already paid all of my bills. So I did, then found out 2 years later I was sent to collections for an unpaid bill. I had reached out multiple times to Bonney Lake Highline PT and even left voicemails with no response to find out if I was sent to collections or if this was a scam. I ended up having to go directly into the office to discuss this with one of the receptionists. He had confirmed that I was sent to collections and showed me the bill. I asked him to talk to his manager about how frustrating it was for me to be given so much misinformation. Fast forward to today, when I call collections, I find out my bill is nearly double the bill Highline sent in. I asked them to explain. They said that it was the full bill they had received. They hadn't added anything onto the bill, and we figured out together that Highline had shown me the wrong bill when I went in person. Once highline had sent the bill to colelctions they wouldn't have kept that in their reccords and so they would not have the bill to show me anymore. It has been a few weeks since I asked for the situation of being sent to collections to be brought up to the manager. I haven't received any communications or so much as an apology. I am beyond disappointed with their services and continuous miscommunication.

I came in and asked all the questions I possibly could to make sure it would work out and ended up scheduling and moving my referral over, which was not easy to get from the first place. Two weeks later, I came in for my appointment which lasted almost 1.5hrs. The therapist recommended 2x/wk and I agreed. She walked me to the front desk where I'm told they can't accommodate me because they're booked out for weeks and I could maybe get in ONE day between then and the next available. I think if they would've worded it that way when I asked all the questions or somehow made me aware that they'd be able to get in me in for the initial appointment soon but treatments wouldn't start until weeks later. Then I would've kept looking. I then a few days later called and asked to speak to the owner, who called me back and was everything but helpful. Her level of sarcasm towards the situation by making comments such as; I'm sorry I couldn't be 100% fully staffed for you, are totally unnecessary and unprofessional. After explaining to her how unsatisfactory my experience had been and now I'm having to look for a new place, and how I didn't thought it wasn't fair that they were still going to bill my insurance knowing they couldn't accommodate from the beginning, I realized she didn't care to help or alleviate the situation, I gave up. I feel like this place lies to people just to get them in for that first appointment since it's the one they can bill/collect on the most and that's all they're after. They don't actually care about the patients or their treatment. I manage a few clinics and if my staff ever scheduled someone knowing we wouldn't be able to accommodate after the initial appointment, not only I, but all my providers would do everything possible to make sure they get on the schedule the amount of times were recommending until the schedule allows for more appointments. Either stay during lunch, come in earlier or leave later but we'd make sure our patient is taken care of. This place didn't even try and that's after I spoke with three people including the owner. And yes, after all that, they still billed my insurance because "I still got the evaluation" An evaluation that would determine my treatment frequency which they couldn't accommodate. Which if they would've told me from the get go, said evaluation would've never happened.
