This is also the area where summer day camps are based for kids. The homebase but then they head out on other adventures. 2nd floor has the weight room and also cardio machines. It is not necessarily everything you would find in a big facility. But there is enough to work everything out. 3rd floor has the basketball court and also fitness room. There is not a lot of traffic that comes in compared to some other facilities. It is nice to not be over ran with people and have to wait long periods of time to get on machines.

The people who work at Raintree often remember my name, welcome me in, and help with any issues that come up for me. The people who work out here come in a range of ages and body types, and are friendly and thoughtful about helping keep the space nice for whoever is coming in next. The space is well organized into sections that feel private and very functional. The yoga space is very zen. There are a few hangout areas that include couches, or tables and chairs, and feel very home like. The recovery room is quiet and dimly lit. There are several spaces with weights and weight machines and each have their own personality. The track is perfectly located to make it easy to include the sled and/or a warm up or cool down lap along with weight lifting. The vibe is consistent and reminds me of being in a spa. Not hooty tooty, but rather, like I have a rich friend who has invited me over to their gym and is glad I've come over! The gym always smells nice and fresh, is clean and welcoming, and has good music on at exactly the right volume. It's easy to walk around as the paths to places are well delineated. And, I always feel like I belong. The offerings, responsiveness and community all resonate deeply with me. Currently I am focusing on prepping for the DEKA, and Raintree has classes, trainers and the equipment I need to prep for this. I am also working on becoming more centered and lowering my cortisol, and the yoga classes and sound bath class are really helping me achieve better sleep, less stress and more feeling connected to my body and heart than I have in a very long time. The variety of equipment and my amazing personal trainer, Kelly, have helped me achieve so many of my personal fitness goals without getting injured, including a 4 day back pack trip with some girlfriends while carrying 40 pounds. I am currently working with Kelly to compete in my first DEKA and to do a pull up. I will leave you with one last example to demonstrate the extra mile this amazing space goes to to help me meet my personal goals as well as to feel very cared for. The other day I came in and asked Chad how I could measure out 100 meters so I could practice for the DEKA. He told me he would measure it out for me. So literally, I went to my yoga class and he got my spaces all measured out and ready to go!

Take a hint people and also maybe pick up trash and hair and all the gross crap that's laying around the pool area and the gym and the locker rooms. I was a member of the club for 6 months. In that time my automatic billing was messed up twice. I never had a complaint about any of the staff until I called and spoke with Robin On August 21 26. I was not rude to her but again asking about my money and wanted her to take a message that I wanted an ACH number so I could trace Robin started screaming at me that she couldn't help me. I quietly asked her not to scream at me thinking that lowering my voice would cause her to lower her's no luck! She yelled that she had papers everywhere and she couldn't help me and then hung up on me. After a bit I called twice again and received a message that the mailbox was full. On two other occasions she just did not pick up. Robin had no idea that I have a family emergency and will need to fly out making it more emergent that I receive my refund. How could she, she'd already decided she wasn't dealing with me. No employee should ever hang up on a customer and certainly it is not appropriate to decide you just wont answer the phone. Save your money. One staff member can ruin everything. Every one of us is fighting a battle no one can see. Kindness is free. I will not recommend this club to anyone!

They also had a cool water obstacle course. The pool is huge and plenty of room for the people at the private event. They offered bbq and snow cones. We had a great time at the event. The fitness area for weights and cardio equipment is user friendly and in good condition. Prefer to go there vs my gym as it tends to be less crowded. The facility itself is of course geared for 55+, but anyone 18+ can come in and use the facility. Staff is friendly and there are usually multiple people available to assist you. This can be a busy facility however at times so there may be a chance you do have to wait a little bit if you have a question regarding something. Coffee is free if you bring your own cup, if you need a cup there is just the small fee of $1 and you can buy a cup from the desk. So many wonderful events and opportunities that happen here. Definitely worth coming and checking it out

If you need to call regarding a question expect to be put on hold immediately and not addressed for 5-10 minutes. Upon entering the facility you'll be greeted by inpatient, unkind and distant staff. The staff are not trained in the majority of ongoings within city recreation, most staff rely upon their managers who they themselves are unhelpful. Speaking to a manager is a whole other issue as they're never available. The facility attendants are mostly helpful and attending to almost any issue/need you many have. The pool table area is okay however most cues, balls, etc are strewed about the area or just lost. In regards to the pool, look online before coming in because classes are scheduled and lanes may or may not be available. Speaking on the rental spaces available at the Senior Center there's nothing special or noteworthy to speak on. If you need to rent a space, don't expect a return call for 1-2 weeks. Those who come in the early morning for coffee, there is now a $1 charge for cups, so bring your own. With overall subpar staff and a underwhelming facility, I would recommend the Chilson Senior Center in Loveland.
