So after almost 20mins of testing different fragrances, I made my way to the cash register where a lovely African American young lady asked if I was ready to check out. I replied no, I couldn't get anyone to assist me. She apologized and asked if she could help. I said absolutely and thanked her for acknowledging me. I told her the item I wanted to purchase. She went to the back and grabbed the fragrance I requested and apologized again for my poor experience, rang up the item, I paid, thanked her and went on my way. But otherwise, expect to book 4-6 weeks out. --Follow her easy to understand email instructions to confirm your appointment by text, and also show up 10 mins early to appointment. That's not too much to ask. --I am 40 and have never had a facial before so I don't have anything to compare this to. --I was surprised by how fun this experience was. Really pleasant and entertaining conversation. I felt like I made a real friend. --Viktoria asks some prelim questions about products you use and medicines you take. You change into a towel robe and the facial begins. I arrived at 3:50 and walked out at 5:30. --The extractions weren't that bad but the whole time I kept thinking how blotchy and red my face was going to look. But guess what? It was not blotchy or red at all! No redness whatsoever. She must be magic. --She did steam, extractions, a mask, infrared light, some other electric thing, moisturizer, massaged my head and shoulders, it was all really nice. Cost with tip was less than $100. --It doesn't matter if you go in wearing makeup or not. --Don't plan any workouts post facial- nothing where you'll sweat afterwards. --I have had no breakouts, no peeling, no negative after effects from the facial. My skin looks great. Even my husband said I looked younger. --There was no pressure to come back at any given interval, but I will plan to go every 6 weeks or so. If you've ever had keratin, you know the heat styling and sealing of cuticle are vital to the treatment working. I tried to assist the stylist from suggesting tension to her poor sectioning. Unfortunately, my hair is not done properly. I stopped the service and am on my way home to properly flatiron my hair. I have biracial textured hair. Keratin is great for managing it. The issue isn't the service itself but rather the stylist's technique. Even with a wash and flatiron, I've had better sectioning. 1.5 inch section on a 1 inch flatiron doesn't work. So...now I'm out $100. After trying to coach her through it for the last 3 hours. Their salon educator has a LOT of work to do with her.
