They also have a large beer and wine selection behind the Banter stall where you can choose any six-pack or bottle you want and drink it inside or take it home. Inside the I love On The Rise Bakery and Rising Star Coffee inside the Market Hall. They also have Craft Collective which serves lots of craft beers and wines by the glass. There's lots of seating and tables to enjoy your meal, work, meet with friends, etc. One of my favorite spots in the VAD is The Corner. It's a small section in the Market Hall that sells little treats, jeweler, candles, etc. from local makers and small business owners. It's always fun to see what they have there and good to support these businesses.

We visited The Van Aiken District for the third time, although we haven't visited in a few years…read more The area is similar to many outside shopping area, but also has a small inside market area. We had a great time strolling around inside and out. The district has a nice selection of stores. There is everything from a plant store (Stump) to ice cream (Mitchell's), to clothing stores (Clevelan Clothing Company and others). There is definitely a focus on more local goods and shops. The area is not expansive so it is easy to stroll around and see everything in a short period of time. Had it been warmer I would have liked to sit outside with a coffee.

Well, YELP CLEVELAND, here we are again with another review, coming in HOT at review number 399!!…read more DEALS -- Listen, you may shop for deals at your local Family Dollar or Dollar General store but might I persuade you to visit DOLLAR TREE? Deals here are hotter than any hot fried chicken at your grandmothers house on a Sunday afternoon. For just the low price of $1, you can find almost everything here from snacks, paper towels, candles, cleaning supplies, books, juice, kitchen utensils, and much more. INSIDE -- I visited during lunch time in April 2020 and the store was very clean when I entered. In addition, the staff member who assisted me was friendly. Although; this is a general merchandise store, the only drawback is that you won't find everything you're looking for inside. I still recommend Dollar Tree for all your miscellaneous item needs especially for buying snacks. P.S. I added this business to Yelp and Debra beat me to the first review...haha. I use them in the kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom. At $5 they're a true steal. I purchased three this evening (and paid about $2 for a bag). I also purchase a picnic blanket. I also browsed the store finding the following pretty cool items: -Picnic blanket - Compact, fun summer strawberry print. I got myself a blanket for an upcoming picnic! -Bow shoes and accessories -Bows are seriously trending right now and Five Below is on brand! -Aqua shoes - Very cool find for floating down the river and all summer water activities. -Bear dispensers - Got one for summer cocktail events with friends. -Cement - Fire pit! What a good value and find! -New room decor and books! Customer Service was very friendly. Guests are greeted immediately upon arrival. Staff is friendly and checkout is quick. Target now sells Krispy Kreme donuts!…read more This Target is currently undergoing a renovation (May 2025). There are multiple challenges inside and outside. Few aisles inside are obstructed (by the cleaning supplies) and are being improved. The bathrooms inside are not fully functional. Family restrooms inside are open. There are several portable toilets outside. Starbucks is mostly out of order - no ice, and no food. Several areas of the store are covered in tarp. Just be aware of not the full Target experience as you're used to it. The store is still pretty well stocked. There are a lot of new fashions for women - cute summer dresses and pants. Swimsuits and beach attire is already out. You can also find a new Pride line. I was surprised to find last year's fashions in store. There was a dress on a rack that I bought last year, and a few other pieces. I was very happy with all the clothing sales. I purchased a very vibrant "Brasil" summer shirt for $7.50! If you're looking for summer tees, check this Target. I also purchased "Papaya" sweater for $28, and a few household necessities. Also of note, Target now carries Krispy Kreme donuts in boxes! I didn't know that's an option but it apparently is. Even in the late afternoon there were a lot of donuts left! Service at the store is pretty attentive. I was able to get quick help when I couldn't find contact lens solution. All the employees I encountered were very pleasant. Overall, if you can overlook the construction, it's not a bad shopping experience. There's large inventory here and better than average customer service.
