Despite the steady flow of shoppers, the store stays pretty well organized--which I definitely appreciate. Bonus: no strange smells like you sometimes get in similar stores in town! I come here every week and never leave empty-handed, my cart is always full. If you're looking for a successful bargain-hunting session with a feel-good vibe, this is the place to be.

I can't comment on the quality of meat from here but from what I've heard, it's hit and miss. There is no bakery and all the bakery items they do carry are pre packaged and shipped in. The frozen food section also lacks variety. Customer service, from my experience, is hit and miss. They have/had a few employees who are nice and will actually talk to you while the others can barely get out a, "how are you", at the check stand. Often, there is only one cashier and a long line. The cashier will ask for help over the PA only for it to go ignored or unheard. The one and only consistent thing about this store is the smell. It hits you like a ton of bricks the second you walk in. Not sure if it's from whatever they use to clean or if it's a lack of cleaning causing it but regardless, it stinks. They really need to figure that one out. Bottom line is they benefit from being the only game in town (aside from Family Dollar). Not a problem for me because I only work here. For locals, however, they don't have a choice on where to go unless they feel like driving an hour in either direction. It's sad that companies take advantage of that instead of treating a community with the respect it should be given.

While I won't rank it among the worst burgers I've ever had, it certainly wasn't good, either. Yes, it's a gas station. They had other supplies I needed; I didn't try the restrooms. This might be the last stop for cheap fuel before you hit Fernley, Reno, and parts West. I shopped and saved quite a bit compared to parts West. If you need to save fuel costs, check this location and compare.
