Always a Great Shopping Experience! This store consistently…read moredelivers great finds at unbeatable prices. The lines are usually short, and the staff is always welcoming and helpful. Despite the steady flow of shoppers, the store stays pretty well organized--which I definitely appreciate. Bonus: no strange smells like you sometimes get in similar stores in town! I come here every week and never leave empty-handed, my cart is always full. If you're looking for a successful bargain-hunting session with a feel-good vibe, this is the place to be.

I can't comment on the quality of meat from here but from what I've heard, it's hit and miss. There is no bakery and all the bakery items they do carry are pre packaged and shipped in. The frozen food section also lacks variety. Customer service, from my experience, is hit and miss. They have/had a few employees who are nice and will actually talk to you while the others can barely get out a, "how are you", at the check stand. Often, there is only one cashier and a long line. The cashier will ask for help over the PA only for it to go ignored or unheard. The one and only consistent thing about this store is the smell. It hits you like a ton of bricks the second you walk in. Not sure if it's from whatever they use to clean or if it's a lack of cleaning causing it but regardless, it stinks. They really need to figure that one out. Bottom line is they benefit from being the only game in town (aside from Family Dollar). Not a problem for me because I only work here. For locals, however, they don't have a choice on where to go unless they feel like driving an hour in either direction. It's sad that companies take advantage of that instead of treating a community with the respect it should be given.

Joseph at the self-checkout and Diane in the cosmetics department both demonstrated exemplary customer service. They each took the initiative to assist me, and I sincerely appreciated their kindness and willingness to help. Sometimes it can be difficult to find someone when you need assistance, but on this particular day, they noticed I could use a hand and stepped in without hesitation. Their thoughtfulness and genuine care made my shopping experience so much easier. Words can't fully express my gratitude. Joseph and Diane are outstanding examples of what excellent customer service should look like, and I hope they receive the recognition they truly deserve.

The bathrooms were very clean and most places I had stopped along the way were filthy. They have a lovely area dedicated to Veterans and they make fresh grab and go food there. The store layout was similar to ours back home, so we didn't have too much trouble locating everything we needed. We were looking for automotive as well as grocery items, which is nice to have that one stop shopping ability. The check out experience offers real life tellers as well as the popular self checkout options. We tend to prefer the self check out if the line isn't too long as was the case on this visit.

They had other supplies I needed; I didn't try the restrooms. This might be the last stop for cheap fuel before you hit Fernley, Reno, and parts West. I shopped and saved quite a bit compared to parts West. If you need to save fuel costs, check this location and compare.
