We've been to this…read moremarket a handful of times when visiting Cloudcroft, New Mexico, and have always been very pleased with the stores welcoming environment, it is very cozy and well stocked, lots of things to look at for the whole family. The shop has many cute souvenirs and home goods. I've noticed their fair prices, compared to other stores we have visited. My reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the lack of a welcoming attitude from the owner, I hate to judge someone's attitude on one visit (from this years trip) but this has happened before. Overall, I highly recommend Mountain Magic Market!

So many wind chimes, so much local art and artists from all over represented in the store. I loved that they are caring for 3 cats, whom they've spayed/neutered when they were abandoned. They sell these wonderfully made quilted post cards, and the proceeds go to a fund that helps neutering and spaying the local stray population of cats. We will definitely go back for that one bat I really wanted, but could not afford just yet.

Stopped by there as i headed back to Pflugerville, Texas today to fulfill the Allsup order request. Walked out with $36 in fried burritos and chimichanga's And the sauce. I love the burritos, nostalgia, as i recall my younger days in Cali and spending time at the bowling ally where we bought fried burritos as well. Staff that work there are so nice to all.

Even though this place is on Curfew Place, it sure stays open late!…read more Check out the painted dumpsters! These dumpsters are larger and deeper than usual, apparently to keep out the bears. They have been lovingly painted with scenes of the local town. Oh what an honor to be painted on a dumpster! The store is kinda gritty and dirty. The lights flicker on and off like some sort of zombie movie around here. The place does keep busy at all hours though. They sell most everything you need up in here. Beer, burritos, bubble gum- you name it- they got it. I'm not a big fan of Allsup's gas- it's only 86 octane and up to 10% ethanol. I don't want all that- it's like gas lite. The clerk was friendly and seemed happy to be there and was more than willing to assist.

It also has a small section with everyday staples like milk and cheese. This place is great if you need a pit stop to buy some snacks and drinks for the road. They also have their small selection of hot food cooked and ready to go for anybody that just wants a quick bite. What else is there to say? It's a brand new convenience/gas store that is a great addition to Cloudcroft. That old Allsup's was just not cutting it anymore.
