Dollar Trees were my saving grace as a K teacher! So many little party favors for only a dollar!…read moreBut those days are long gone and I hadn't been back in a while. Me: Hi, how much is this? (item outside the door) Lady: A dollar. 15 mins later I have a handful of things, including a set of necklaces and a set of bracelets I'm certain Must be different prices, so I made the mistake of asking her, "Are these 2 the same price?" And she loses it just a tad. There's an edge to her voice that was not present with the people in front of me. Lady: It's a dollar, everything is a dollar. That's why it's called the DOLLAR tree. Me: OK, well there are lots of places called 'dollar' stores, Dollar General, Family Dollar... where not everything is a dollar. Lady: Look at the wall back there. It says $1, everything is a dollar. She opened the store at 8 and this transpired before 8:30--it's going to be a long, ornery day for her if she keeps going at this rate, especially if I give into the dark desire to go back in and ask again about the prices.

They are especially pushing the fitness stuffs (it is January after all) but I can't complain. Exercise balls, rollers, yoga mats for 5 bucks?! Yes please! The cashiers are usually teens but they are pretty ok service wise. Only thing I didn't like was that my cashier scanned one item times three instead of each item separately. What if I want to take an item back? It won't have any value but anyway that's a side note. Great store in Lake Prairie Towm Center. Great place for inexpensive gifts and stuff for yourself. I've been here many times and it still gets a thumbs up. Lovvvvvve it!!!!!

The quality of the items is why I'm not a huge fan. I swear, 99% of the things the kids buy end up breaking within a week, sometimes even on the ride home. Then, some items seem overpriced at $5. This tiny piece of plastic cost $5? Ugh.

Always a Great Shopping Experience…read more This TJ Maxx is one of my favorite stores, and I shop here very frequently. I'm usually on the hunt for perfumes, Sand + Fog fragrance oils, body butters, and goodies for my Yorkies, and I can always count on finding something I didn't know I needed! The store is consistently clean, well organized, and the checkout lines move quickly, which I really appreciate. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. I also want to give a special thank you to Brandon, the store manager. During one of my visits, a candle unexpectedly broke near me, and he immediately came over with kindness and reassurance, making what could have been an embarrassing moment feel like no big deal. That level of professionalism and genuine customer service really stood out to me. Great customer service is one of the reasons I continue coming back. Keep up the great work!

Ladies are on top of their game when we push the buttons for help, that's for those locked items on the floor. The bag area has one, makeup counter, jewelry counter and throughout the store they have those giant clear boxes with colognes and Polaroids and other goodies! I'm glad they are locking items up, some people have gotten crafty at stealing or taking from the set items, you have to inspect to make sure everything is there. They have a great return policy, keep your receipts! And try to make it in within 30days. I also appreciate the customer service, the staff is there to help us , so don't take advantage of them, and if you're having a bad day , it costs nothing to be nice to another individual, nowadays people are so entitled it's sickening. Specially around the holidays , imagine how a crowd makes you feel, well they are already overwhelmed and still smile. I appreciate that and I always compliment them. You can still find great finds in the store , just have to look for sure! I found an amazing Karl Lagerfeld bag that retails for $300 and it was $99! Beautiful find! A little retail therapy makes it all better specially with a find like this.

Walked in this young man says nothing, trap music blasting with little kids in the store. I get up to the counter, this guy has his leg kicked up on the counter, stays on his cell phone talking to his girl (on speaker). Stays on the phone, rings my stuff up, doesn't bag it, grabs my changes, crumbles up the money with the receipt, drops the change on the counter so I bag my things and I even said thank you... not a word the entire time. Dre, do better, as people of color eyes are always on us. As a patron and a mother, there's no room for lack of courtesy or thoughtfulness to the environment. There's no way any of the other people who work there were around (I didn't see them).

My problem with it is the same with lots of stress these days, they don't bother paying people to check you out. Instead they try and push you toward self checkout. I do not care for this. I don't work here, I am not getting a discount for literally doing a job you pay someone for, and if you are buying wine or something you need assistance anyway. They had TWO registers open. At 6:00. Also, there were no hand baskets available at the entrance that was not next to the self checkout.

You enter on the opposite side if groceries you will have to past at least 10-12 unattended checkout lanes to get to the opposite side to check out. Then MAYBE 2 with checkers and rest are self checkout. With a fill grocery store there should definitely be more checkout lanes. It is annoying.

At least that's what my limited research has taught me! Anyway, this Mardel is directly next door to the enormous Hobby Lobby off of Cooper and Highway 20. It's a pretty big store filled with mostly Christian bibles and books about the bible, Christian educational materials, and Christian-themed gifts like trinkets and t-shirts and home decor. It kinda feels like a Hallmark mixed with a Hobby Lobby. This stuff isn't my style but there are plenty of people in my life who would enjoy it. They sell gift cards, too. My family uses fragrance free everything: laundry detergent , dish soap, body washes, shampoo/conditioner... well, we found Raw Sugar brand FRAGRANCE FREE shampoo AND conditioner for $3 each! Blown away by the organization in the books! Kudos! Cashier was WONDERFUL! So friendly. Engaged in conversation. We are a member of Ollie's Army and had a couple 15% off coupons in the app so not only did we save big already at Ollie's, we saved even more with the app! Highly recommend.
