Store is huge and well stocked and organized. BUT...... it is ridiculous the amount of lanes they have that are not opened. You enter on the opposite side if groceries you will have to past at least 10-12 unattended checkout lanes to get to the opposite side to check out. Then MAYBE 2 with checkers and rest are self checkout. With a fill grocery store there should definitely be more checkout lanes. It is annoying. read more

I love this target! It's huge! And organized, and clean. Lost of parking , great clearance sections! It's actually a super target but it only shows as a target. They also have a Starbucks inside yay. They have a pharmacy inside, also an optical, there's a grocery section and fresh fruits as well. The makeup section is always well stocked so I tend to enjoy that. They sell beer and wine great selection on up up products. They do need to hire more employees store needs them they have several cashiers lanes but only self checkout and 2 lanes seem to be opened at all times. Lots of parking outside! read more

Came to this Target today because I was in the area. I have been here before and like this location. It is clean, we'll organized, and the employees seem friendly. My problem with it is the same with lots of stress these days, they don't bother paying people to check you out. Instead they try and push you toward self checkout. I do not care for this. I don't work here, I am not getting a discount for literally doing a job you pay someone for, and if you are buying wine or something you need assistance anyway. They had TWO registers open. At 6:00. Also, there were no hand baskets available at the entrance that was not next to the self checkout. read more

This target was about the same as any. When I walked in it did look a lil strange as it felt like a wholesale clothing store of some sort because of the set up. I came here particularly for 2 pillows that they have on the website as in stock. Well I traveled from fort worth just because of these pillows and when I arrived there and spoke to an associate apparently there was a glitch in the system. The associate was really nice though and tried his best to help me find another item. I've shopped at this target before when it was first built and it had a better feel to it years ago. Today at approximately 10am I went to Target to purchase a TV. A few days ago my wife went to the same store and spoke with a female working in electronics and my wife was told that some of the display tv's would be on sale and with an additional 70 percent off, but we would have to come back on Monday (today by 10am). Today I spoke with a young man who was working in the area but was not sure of the sale. He called the Lead who work in the department via cell phone. I personally heard her tell the gentleman that the TVs that are on clearance were on sale and if the TVs were on display, they were an additional 70 percent off. The gentleman could not get the price to ring up right, so he escorted me to the front counter and explained to the customer service rep that he needed the TV marked down and he was really sure how to mark the TV down. At some point the store manager Josh Lara walked over to the area and they asked him for his assistance. At some point Josh told me that he would not sale me the TV for the additional 70 percent off. The initial gentleman tried to explain to the manager that the lead over the department instructed him that the TV was an additional 70% off because it was a display tv. I interjected and explained to the manager Josh Lara that as a customer I was told by 2 of his employees that the TV was 70% off and my wife was told by one employee that the tv was 70% off. I told him that I didn't think that it was morally right that he had an employee right next to him who admitted that they told me the tv was on sale and he was not going to honor their word. The manager Josh Lara began to demonstrate a very cocky and condescending attitude. Josh Lara treated me like I was a crook who was inside of HIS personal store and was trying to TAKE from him personally vs an honest customer who was informed by two supervisor/team leads in the department. This is a Target, so that is something. But, this location, like pretty much all Targets, has a huge problem with lines and customer service. First, as to lines, there is ALWAYS a line, regardless of when you arrive. Like most other Targets, I have seen managers standing around, just watching the lines grow, without jumping on a register or asking anyone to come up front. Second, if you need to find something, don't bother asking anyone because they likely won't know. Does that mean they won't send you to some random area? Nope. But, I have noticed that this is getting better lately, so maybe, Target is learning. Likely not, but maybe. Third, you cannot check out with beer or wine at self-checkout or guest services. Do employees tell you that while you're waiting in line? Nope. They do have a sign up now, but this is still ridiculous. How hard is it to just check my ID? Fourth, they do not price match their website at the register. After waiting in line to checkout, if you want a price match to their own website, you have to go to guest services. But, they will only price match one item, until you explain to them how that does not make any sense because you could just buy the item online and choose in-store pickup. Oh, and, if you had wine in your shopping cart, and didn't pay for it while you were at the register, after dealing with this, you'll be heading back into ANOTHER line to pay for that wine separately. Nonetheless, this store is bright and clean, and their prices are generally ok, which is why I still gave the Target two stars. So, as you can probably tell from this review, I do not recommend this Target location. read more

The bakery is hands down one of the best retail store bakeries I've experienced. I'm a big birthday cake person! If nothing else is right the cake HAS to be. So many people come to parties for the cake and this location delivered! My daughter had a donut themed birthday and they did a fantastic job on the cake. I visit this Target every day. Some times 2-3 even 4 times a day. I think it is similar to most Targets. Its clean and usually well stocked. I have come to know some of the employees and they are nice (I usually do self check out). Here is my issue with this particular Target. Because I live behind it, I shop here for food. It never EVER fails that every time I go to buy groceries, something is expired or rotting. We have found shelf items that had expired over a year ago. They do not remove the bad products from the shelves (or at least well enough and often). The rotting produce is so obvious and it sits there. If you shop for groceries at this Target, please check the dates. We check the dates on EVERY food item we purchase here. You would be surprised at how much is expired already. read more

Definitely one of the better Targets that I've been to. This location is a Super Target so you can grab groceries as well. They also have a Pharmacy, optical, photos, starbucks, and their own cafe. The employees here have always been pleasant. I must say though, Patricia by self checkout, goes out of her way to make the customer feel welcomed and she will take care of you. I love the dollar selection area. I get lost in here as soon as I walk in. They have nice sized dressing rooms and clean bathrooms, including a family bathroom. The groceries have always been consistently good. In my opinion, it's a little overpriced but if you know how to coupon or you use the app and wallet, it's worth it! You get what you pay for. So I love my neighborhood Target but I often have to take pictures of the signage because it doesn't show at the register. It can be annoying but I love that the staff always honors the price and are so nice. First let me preface this review by saying I. Not a coupon person nor am I an ad shopper. Months ago a friend of mine gave me 6 coupons for $4 each off Glade diffusers. I haven't been able to find this product and had forgotten about them. Sunday I was at Target shopping and happened down the air freshened aisle and noticed they had the diffusers and picked up 6 of them. Keep in mind I had over $130 in other merchandise in my cart and no other coupons. So I get through the checkout and the clerk tells me that she can only take 4 of my coupons. I said that I was purchasing 6 of the products. She said it didn't matter that she could still only take 4 of the coupons. I said to her, so you're going to have me complete this transaction and have to get back in line and wait to check out these two air fresheners? She said yes. My only regret is that I didn't just leave all the merchandise there and leave. I finished the transaction, stepped one counter over which was an express lane and paid for the two air fresheners with my last two coupons. Simply inconvenient. read more

I have to say I am beginning to get very disappointed with this Target. Between an incident with the Optical department and this last time that I visited and stopped by the bathrooms (I have pictures as proof! Gross!)... this Target needs to up their customer service! I don't have much of a choice since this is on my way home vs. other Targets, however I might drive all the way to the one on Cedar Hill if this Target doesn't start making some improvements. First the situation with an associate in the Optical Department. I no longer have vision or dental insurance, and I wanted to call and see how much the price would be for an eye exam. Tatum answered the phone, and she was less than pleasant. I asked her what the prices would be for an eye exam without insurance. She responded with the Optical Department and the actual doctor's office being two separate entities and that they were closed, so she didn't have their prices. Which I completely understand! I asked her if she knew an estimate about how much it would be for an eye exam. She asked me if it was for glasses or contacts, I told her it would be for both. She said it would start at $140. I asked her why does it make a difference in price for glasses and contacts? (I had no idea, before it was much cheaper with insurance so I never thought to ask!) She said because of the fitting fee. I was a bit confused about what exactly a "fitting fee" is, so I tried to ask her what exactly that was. Her response (condescendingly), "They fit your contacts". I said, okay so how much would it be without contacts? Her response, "As I already said the eye exam starts at $140 and goes up from there. But the office is closed so if you want to get that information you are going to have to call when they open". I said okay thank you and hung up. I should add the entire time that I spoke with her she was condescending and had an attitude as if I was wasting her time. A As a customer calling for answers to questions I don't know the answer to, the way she responded and answered my questions were as if I was stupid for not knowing the answer. I then called the other Target in Cedar Hill, and they were much nicer and actually answered my questions. If you just want an eye exam for glasses it's $60, if it's with contacts it starts at $140 - mainly because they try a pair on you and you get to keep it for however long they are for. Also depending on whether you have stigmatism or any other issues or needs for your eyes the price can go all the way up to $170. (In case you were wondering) I felt much more informed and my questions were actually answered, and it was by someone in the same department - Optical. Who also (nicely) told me that the Dr's office was closed, but that I could call the next day when they opened. This Target in Grand Prairie though, part of customer service is answering questions about products. Sometimes we don't know, and who else can we ask but the person that works there?? Strike #1 ^ Now on to Strike #2, I went in yesterday to get some groceries for dinner, I had drank a bit too much water and I had to go to the restroom - BAD. I went into the store, and straight to the restroom. There are four stalls. Stall #1 - Filled with pee and nasty stuff. Stall #2 - Had pee ON the seat Stall #3 - Had nasty stuff in the toilet bowl Stall #4 - Had pad on the floor Stall #5 (HC) - Was fine. I went to #5, while I'm using the restroom I hear two other customers come in and also witness the nasty stall and I heard a loud Ew! Gross! When I was finished I went out to find an associate, I found two girls that were working on something in a cart next to the registers. I asked them about the bathrooms, and who's responsibility it is to take care of them? Their response - "Oh why? Is it dirty? It's the cart attendant's responsibility" I Informed them about the 4 stalls and how nasty they were. One of the girl's response: Yeah, that's the cart attendant's job. I'll tell him to take care of it. I told the girls, "When I used to work in Target it used to be the cashier's responsibility to take care of the bathroom - I guess maybe that changed?" One of them responded - "Yeah no, we don't do that. The cart attendant does that". In my mind I'm thinking... Who cares who's responsibility it is? I know I asked that as the opener to my conversation.... I shouldn't have... but WHO CARES? Take some pride in your work and take care of your store! If the bathroom is disgusting take the initiative to take care of it.... especially if a customer complains about it. Don't just pass it off to the next person. That's not what Target teaches/trains their employees to do. I was very disappointed, I'm hoping there is no Strike #3... or I'll drive all the way past Grand Prairie and go to Cedar Hill to go to THAT Target. read more

Target is pretty much my favorite store ever and this location is probably my favorite of all the Targets in DFW. Their clearance is awesome, employees are friendly, and I always walk out of the store with more than I originally intended to buy. My only issue with this store is the lines. You can grab two items and wait forever in line! Sometimes the express line is not even open so you have to go wait in a regular line behind people with a cart full of items. This store rarely has more than 3-4 registers open at a time. Why have 20+ registers if you never use them? That's my only complaint but the awesomeness of the store makes up for me spending more time in line than I spend in the store. read more

Target is the devil. You go in for something you need and come out with things you didn't know you needed. The store is huge. It's super. It is clean. We'll kept. Lots of sales. If you use the cartwheel app you get more discount. They really do have the best tenderloin steak EVER. I say this because I have purchased steak from Costco, HEB, Tom Thumb etc and no matter what the steaks from Target are always the most tender. I don't know what they do to their steaks but they are very tender and worth the price. Sometimes they have a buy one get another at 50% off. That is the best sale. We usually stock up. I've been gushing about the meat that I forgot to mention they have the coolest home decor. Even if you visit Target with a list you will almost always leave with more. Buyer beware!! I love this target. The bathrooms are always clean. If you did not know this target has drive up. I went to the store about a week ago to get some school supplies for my child and I used target and we have to enter your school and grade and it will ask you how you want to pick it up drive up or in store. We did pick up in store and how they do it they scan a barcode you have and then they and go and get your stuff from the back that you ordered. By the way they are all wearing mask and social distancing. After you get your things you put it in your car and go to your next stop. read more

I'm only rating this target store based on the cleanliness of their bathroom. I live 0.6 miles away from this location and I shop here quite frequent. Though I don't have any complaints about my shopping experience, I find their bathroom quite disgusting Whenever I happen to use their bathroom 3 out of 5 of their toilet have poop/feces floating in them. The rest have either toiletries all over the toilet seat and the floors along with urine. I've even witnessed dirty diapers not properly disposed off. The custodian department can work extra hard and improve. read more

When my mom's health declined from cancer, and I had to begin trying to convince her to move in with me, two things sealed the deal. That there was a CVS down the street, and that we were relatively close to a Super Target (which she ALWAYS pronounced in the French, "Tar-Zhay"). She went there almost every day for something - toiletries, drinks, snacks - they had everything she needed, and at good prices. And the employees always treated her well if she had questions or concerns. I myself like that I can run here for any number of unexpected miscellaneous needs that crop up - fix-a-flat, Christmas light hangers, Halloween costumes, wine, et. al. You name it, and I am generally able to find it here. Its a comfort to have a store like this you can depend on. read more

Super fast returns. Like seriously fast. I bought the wrong size lampshade and took it to the customer service counter and the whole return process took less than 3 minutes. I was so impressed. Customer service here is on point. I love how there is a Starbucks in here. It's perfect for when I need my after work fix during my grocery run. The only reason why I am not giving this place 5 stars is because their produce section can be a little ratchet. The fruits aren't always the freshest and I've witnessed some sad looking greens. I do appreciate their somewhat extensive section of gluten free stuff for my glutarded sister. Overall, I'm really glad I have a Target so close to home. read more

Look, I am a self-proclaimed Target addict. I love Target so much that everywhere I move, I look to see how close is the nearest Target -- something M does which explains why we work together (haha!) When I was living in GP, I would go to this Target multiple times a week, sometimes multiple times a day. There's just something soothing about a gigantic store filled to the brim with things you didn't know you needed. This particular Target holds a special place in my heart because this is where my addiction began. It's clean every time I go, I've never had an issue with any employee. If anything, they're always more than willing to help me out if I have any questions. I like to self-check out and will only go through the regular line if I'm buying alcohol (which this Target actually has a lovely selection of). Rarely do I come here for fresh produce or baked goods since living in GP/Arlington means there are lots of Asian grocery stores better equipped with what I need. That being said, their packaged foods, frozen foods, and dairy section is where I find everything I need to satisfy my needs. The Market Pantry line is very good for its price and with my RedCard (I swear, I'm not in anyway affiliated with Target -- although I wish they would sponsor me ;D), it makes for the most cost effective way for me to get things I need! read more

i have never in my life seen a Super Target. Because of this, I made it a point to stop in and check things out. I didn't have a lot of time, but from what I saw I was in heaven. Huge parking lot, all things stocked well, inviting, well lit, lots of check out lanes with few people, an optical center and more. This Super Target is also on a strip of businesses and restaurants. Where can I find another one?! I'm stoked, especially since I needed more time in the optical center. Cool frames with $25 kid lenses! While I was in TX for a family reunion, I stopped here with some family members who were shopping. I love Target and the layout here was the same, with lots of midrange options of food/clothing/accessories/pharmacy/beauty/outdoors/etc. However, the standout for me was their Optical. I stopped into the Optical store to replace a nose guard on my glasses that fell off. I let them know that I purchased the glasses elsewhere and they changed the nose guards for me. When I asked the price, I was told that it was a courtesy and no charge. That gets 5 stars for me and I was in and out in 5 minutes or less. Too bad I don't live here because I would go back, just for that type of service. Much better than at WalMart Optical where I purchased my last pair of specs and they charge $2 for this service. read more

I wish I could give this place a 3.5 stars, because it's really in between3 and 4 for me. I give it a 4, because it really is worth it for me to pay more to not shop at walmart with "ghetto" customers AND cashiers! You would never see the cashier at target with their phone out and texting someone right in front of you! But downsides is not just prices alone; but some of the employees aren't up to par at this location. One time I asked an employee where a face mask (for gardening, allergies or any of the sort), and I had to be directed to 5 different people at every end of the store and I left with guess what - nothing. Another time I was there the cashier was checking me out and had put my raw chicken in the same bag as my hot dogs and deli meats. I asked her to please place them in separate bags because the chicken was raw while the others would not be cooked. Her remark to me was "it doesn't matter because they are in plastic wraps." I worked albertson's for 5 years, and this was NOT what we were told. At Albertson's we were told to keep raw foods separate from any other products to prevent cross contamination! Another time I was at there I was at their target cafe. I was at the counter for almost 5 minutes saying "excuse me, I'm sorry to bother you, excuse me, hello." And then finally someone pops up from the back. He just comes up to the register and doesn't even acknowledge me. So I just say "hi can I go ahead and buy this (pizza). He then rings me up, I scan my credit card and he just walks away. My receipt then prints out and I surely grabbed that receipt to do a survey. Thought it was super rude of him to not even say a word to me the entire time! These were my most eventful stories of this location. I come here 3-4 times a week. I love that it's clean, not so crowded and had most things I need. Even with the few events of poor customer service, I would definitely choose this place over walmart any day! read more

I shop at this target at least twice a week. It is well stocked and lay out is easy to navigate with kids in tow. Produce is normally fresh and they have good selection of nuts and beef jerky. Electronics is a good size and have a good toy area. I'm not a fan of self check out and they have cut staff that is a big disappointment. Overall good store. read more

If you ever have to return a gift, they will scam you without a receipt. They give you half or less of the value. Every single time. You ask for credit and even if the sane item is hanging in their racks at full price, they'll only give you 1/2 credit. They overpriced everything. Super Target is like Walmart to me, but with respectable people shopping there. In other words, you don't have to worry about seeing some 300 lb woman shopping in a bikini. That being said, I only give Super Target 3 stars because their organic selection is very lacking... and they don't sell Mallowmars or regular flavor Arizona Iced Tea. In other words, I can't do ALL my shopping there. ;) Other than that it's got everything you would expect to find; groceries, kitchen, bath, clothing, electronics, toys, etc. Fully loaded. As for the prices, I don't find them to be all that competitive. 10 cents here, 20 cents there... such small amounts don't make it worth it to use the extra gas to drive somewhere else in an attempt to save more money. read more

This target has everything I ever need and more! I usually make my way into this target 5 times a week after my workout to buy food to cook at home. Everything is so fresh and kept cleaned. I've never encountered bad customer service at this location or even any location, so that's always a plus! Sales usually happen often so check daily to see what they have in stock! read more
