Okay I know they say third times a charm but I've had two instances in 2 days with the employees…read morethat I don't appreciate. Yesterday I came into the store and asked a question about shorts that didn't have a price tag. I asked if she could tell me the price she said no go find something similar and use that price. That made absolutely no sense to me so I said So I can just go find something similar and that's the price regardless if it's higher or lower than this item. After I walked away minutes later she came back and then try to assist me properly. Maybe she was having a bad day. Today I walk in the store right after they open and I guess they're having a team huddle. Right at the doorway. I had a return and I wanted to know if I needed to do the return first or if I could do the return when I purchased the other item. As I started to ask my question the lady whom I assume was the manager interrupted me and said if you have a return you can go over there. I said okay but I have a question. She said if you're returning something you can go over there and do the return so I said that's not my question. Finally I asked my question and she gave me the appropriate answer. Don't stand in front of the store where people are walking in and not expect to be interrupted. If you want to hold a team huddle or whatever it was do that in a place where you can't be interrupted not in the entrance of the store. Oh I forgot to mention the same lady that didn't want to help me on the first day was the lady to check me out on the first day and she seems as if she doesn't want to be here or maybe she just isn't a very social person. Either way it's not a good look for the store. Shout out to the lady in the dressing room though she was very kind very nice and I saw her again this morning and she smiled and say good morning and the same bright attitude. I did appreciate her level of service. Okay so I just checked out with Carolina and oh my gosh she was also amazing So I don't know what to say two amazing people and two people that were absolutely not amazing. And the lady that helped me yesterday that was rude told me to check out with Carolina and when she spoke to me didn't even make eye contact. I can't.

Checkout line over 100 people long and only 3 cashiers open. 4:40 on a Saturday afternoon.read more

This used to be such a great store before they sold. The workers are extremely rude and don't care…read moreabout you whatsoever. Makes me so sad because it was so nice before. I doubt I'll ever go back in there like so many others are doing for the very same reasons. The food quality has also gone downhill. Older looking produce so old looking it has wrinkles all over it. Do yourself a favor and pass right on by this place.

I've tried many spots and even a place like the Lure Fish house can't compare. Theirs is honestly flavorless compared to Santa Cruz market.. Their guac is also delicious! I come by here regularly to shop for pho spices individually, and a couple staples like cilantro, green onion, and limes. The only thing they don't have is cardamom but I visit Oriental Market for that. Also their bean sprouts are the best in the local area. I've checked sprouts, Ralph's, and even Oriental but they always are watery.. i think they don't store them right or receive the shipment properly. Santa Cruz has the best ones but you'll have to come when they are fresh! They are the best local Mexican market in Goleta imo!

Santa Cruz Markets - Note the new parking along Hollister. All the better to visit the Market. And much more safe for cyclists.

The parking lot and the area in front of the store were always busy, but that is how it usually is at Target. They have a nice sized self checkout area, which helps keep the lines moving. They have the Starbucks as well. I constantly saw employees collecting and organizing the carts, cleaning the store, and making sure everything stayed neat. Overall, this was a clean, organized, and convenient Target location.

We went to this location to make an exchange and was surprised how messy this store was in several departments. Clothes hanging on top of the racks and laying on the floor. This is not typical for most Target stores, so I'm guessing this location was short staffed at the moment we were there. No biggie. We needed assistance to find the product I wanted to exchange, and the associate was very helpful and friendly. After looking around the store to see if we wanted or needed anything else, we went to the Exchange/Returns counter to make the exchange, and the young lady assisting us was very friendly and accommodating. Overall, this was a good experience.
