For a company that "guarantee's" their transmissions.... they are fraudulent. The manager quoted that they would pay back all of the repairs that had to be done by another mechanic, who offered to speak with THIS company (Which we went and got several opinions- some that were free and others that we had to pay diagnostics on) and now Quality Transmission states they are backing out on their word to fix the problems that they never fixed. We had an issue with the throttle cable, which we thought was remedied. On the day we headed to MSU to start a new semester and under a time crunch (As seems always the case), it raised it's ugly head again! What to do 30 minutes out of Wichita Falls loaded down and in the rain? Hobble the car to the campus, unload and make a straight line on a Friday afternoon to Patterson. Heath M was our service advisor. Very polite and got us checked in quickly. Now, let me say it's apprehensive dealing with a strange dealership (Although their body shop helped our other daughter when the Wichita Falls wind tunnel snapped back her Soul door hinge). Heath kept us in the loop and communicated as needed. We received a quick estimate and as it turns out, it was a worn throttle cable that their tech got to experience as well on a test drive. A potentially very hazardous situation, and thankful it was quickly diagnosed and no further damage done or injuries. Had to wait for the part to be ordered, with an estimate on the following Thursday as completion date. We got lucky and the car was good to go and repaired a day early! Daughter has her car and mobility back at school and the dealership arraigned shuttle service as well. Like I said, it is apprehensive sometimes to deal with an unfamiliar dealer. Not knowing the dealership ethics and culture for custom care. I've had my fair share of those that did not hit the mark and put profits over performance and customer satisfaction. Our experience with Patterson Kia PROVES THERE ARE GREAT DEALERSHIPS still out there! They knew we were in a pickle, and treated us like family. I would not have any hesitation with our daughter going to the dealership for preventive service or to address any other matter with the car while she continues to live in Wichita Falls attending school. Our Rio, and our Soul have both been great cars. Dependable and cost effective to own with ample options. We now have a "go-to" dealer that knows the car, have the expertise and parts to repair anything that goes awry. And above all, with our experience; TRUSTWORTHY! These are great things for dad's to know while their kids are off at school. And just one more thing to put your mind at ease over. We have enough other things to concern ourselves over than when called upon, our loved one's car will not be repaired properly, cost effectively, fairly, honestly, timely and given it's due attention. They did not diagnose my vehicle properly.
