After being there for a long time and never got a diagnosis when things started to go south r bad medically for me after repeated visits for same thing I was sent a letter telling me to get a new Dr. I was shocked being a senior citizen that I was being dismissed as such. In a way I feel like it was abusive. I was given a date for termination and before that date came I called about meds and a couple of issues I was alarmed about and got a call I couldn't get to so I called back and never before had it rang so long finally after two minutes I was told that they were not accepting messages from me without so much as a referral. I may be getting old but I believe there is no excuse for that kind of abuse for anyone. No DO NOT GO THERE YOU'LL NEVER GET DIAGNOSED

This therapist, JR, has got to be the sorriest excuse for a medical professional that I've ever…read moremet. She never set boundaries from the get go. 2nd session all wasted going over the history of psychotherapy w/ Freud, Id, Ego, Superego...all she did was read some notes, she did all of the talking. Completely boring, zero focus on what I needed. She never held me accountable with homework. She threw together a generic "plan" after 3rd or 4th session just to cover her behind. She abandon me unannounced after seven sessions. Was such a coward that she wouldn't tell me face to face and lied saying that she was having technology problems so that she could drop me via phone. Technology wasn't an issue any of the previous video sessions. 8th session via phone lasted for 12 minutes...and their office charged insurance for a full visit. She trivialized my feelings. When I told her I lost 10 lbs between sessions, she said do you know how many women would love to lose 10 lbs. Who says things like that? Zero empathy. She fed into the idea of me putting the emphasis on her when it should have been on me. She even texted me after 7th session that she was "in a good place." Since when did she become the patient? 7th session she said that when she saw me at Publix which was very confusing, she would say "hello" but still promised that during 7th that we would start into psychotherapy in the 8th session. She outright lied. She never helped me transition to another therapist BEFORE she abandoned me. She's akin to a Single A baseball player trying to play in the major leagues. She's way over her head. She really should be reported to the state for her lack of ethics. It's unfortunate that I've got to give her at least a one on this rating system. How true it is that not all therapists are created equal. Unfortunately I found out the hard way. In a way I feel sorry for her. I wouldn't treat a dog the way she treated me. Buyer beware!
