The only thing I have encountered was long waits and the last couple years were much better. I have never encountered rudeness or felt the staff was incompetent. I'm empathetic and sorry for this happening to anyone. What some people don't realize is this is Ophthalmology which handles medical problems with eyes. If you're just going to have an exam and need glasses or contacts, you should go to an optometrist. It is less expensive. I have been going here 2x/year (every 6 mths) for 15 years. I have ocular hypertension, MCTD, and for the last two years, cataracts. The medication I use for autoimmune diseases can cause color blindness and of course, ocular hypertension can develop into glaucoma. Be ready to wait for a very long time, they are always behind. The nurses was nice and did good job. The glasses store was nice with some good selection with 2 very nice women that took time with me and was nice. But this business should be ashamed of how they let some employees act. The old lady at the front desk barks out orders to sit down and is very rude. Then the pregnant red headed girl was so mean to a customer and her mother i feel sorry for the people that have to work with them the bosses out not let employees act like that. read more

The older woman at the front desk is rude, impatient and dismissive. First the office has a lot of signs stating face masks are required. I don't have an issue with this, what I have an issue with is this same receptionist didn't have The mask on correctly. She only had her mouth and lower face covered instead of her nose. Evidently the mask was too large and kept sliding down and she was clueless. I politely asked her to verify if my insurance was accepted. She glanced at me and the card and in a snippy voice said no. I called back the next day and asked the same question about my insurance and was told oh yes we take that insurance. That woman blatantly lied! This place won't get a dime of my money!!! read more

The absolute worst experience I have ever had at a medical practice. There are so many problems and mistakes and inept people working there it's hard to know where to start. On the phone I told the woman that I was making the appointment specifically for a contact lens prescription. She said that the fee would be $85, but when I checked out it was almost $170 because they "filed under medical". I had no idea what that meant and no one explained it. The real problem came when they wanted another $110 to "fit" the trial pair of contact lenses they were going to order. I would not pay that and so I left with no contact lens prescription and no contact lenses. I spoke with the practice manager and thought we had worked out the situation. She agreed that I should have only been charged $85 and she waived the "fitting charge". About two weeks later I got a phone call to come pick up my trial pair of contacts lenses, which I did today. Except... They would not give them to me. Once again they said I needed an appointment with the optometrist and that there would be a fitting fee. Never ever ever have I seen a practice run this poorly. If they'll just give me all of my money back I will never step foot in there again read more
