This place is tucked away in the unincorporated community of Fallbrook and features a wide variety of adult beverages, many of which are rather hard to find. I am a tequila hunter, and I received a tip that this place might have what I generally look for, and lo and behold, they were right. Some pretty hard to find juice is found right here, in Fallbrook of all places. I met the owner, Nick, a younger fellow who has the connections to a good distributor. I have been there twice now, and plan to put it into my regular rotation. Next time I go, I will check out the beer section and provide an update on that when the time comes. Sometimes you just need a little Mexican Coke to mix in with a really good run. Nothing beats the Sabor Original with pure sugar cane goodness! Fallbrook Liquor has it and all other good things you need at reasonable prices without long lines. I'll be back for sure. read more

Went into this place after seeing some allocated bottles available, (Blantons, Weller, Old Fitz) now I realize these are highly sought after and can be priced far over suggested retail. But this guy Nick was rude and condescending when I asked for pricing on these. His prices are way high/ secondary prices and he has zero customer or basic people skills. Next time someone asks about a allocated bottles maybe consider that they might know a little about bourbon and dont act all offended when you're told those prices are high. Steer clear of this place if you are searching for the harder to find bottles. He has them, but he isn't a friendly guy. read more

Whoa. My mind is absolutely blown. A friend told us about Fallbrook Liquor, which looks like a super typical liquor store from the outside. Inside though, the walls are lined from floor to ceiling with bottles of booze. And not just Absolut and Jack. They have some amazing bottles at good prices. Things that other bottle shops horde away. But the real reason we went was for the beer. There is an incredible selection of craft beer in this place! Like... I can't even believe some of the bottles they have. Shelves and shelves of them. And again, prices were super fair. Sam, the owner, was not only friendly and helpful, but also obviously enthusiastic about his merchandise. He helped us pick out bottles for gifts and recommended things for us to try. A part of me doesn't want to share this secret. I want it all to myself. But Sam is so nice, and the selection is so good that I can't help but tell everyone I know about it. Stumbled upon this place after eating lunch next door. I'm a beer snob so I just wanted to see if they had anything special. Being from NC, I like to check out what stuff that I can't get. Wow, was I impressed. Great selection of limited release stuff like Firestone Walker Parabola, Sucaba, etc. 50/50 brews, even a couple KBS 2 months after release. Deschutes, limited Lost Abbey, and the list goes on. Chatted with Wisam. Cool dude. Knows his beer for sure. Cool place ... I like whiskey & usually I like finding the latest releases of all the cool craft beers. The guy stocking the cooler showed me to the ones that had just came in ... then when I took my stuff up to the front the guy made a suggestion on also a different beer I would have never seen ..... and it turned out to be an awesome beer too. ... I would highly recommend doing business with another liquor store besides this one. Customer service is terrible, and the prices here are sky high! I purchased some wine for around $200, and when I received my credit card statement it said $400!!! I called the store and told them what was going on and they treated me as if I was a terrible person and somehow I was mistaken! It's been months and I cannot get this issue resolved through them. So I will just dispute the charge. They Sometimes double what prices are on secondary market. That's not even touching on the cleanliness of the store. The floors are sticky as if they haven't been mopped in years and the foul odor that permeates throughout. read more

As another reviewer said from the outside this appears like your run of the mill liquor store, however they have the BEST craft beer selection I have seen in all of North County. I'm a fan of hard to find sours so I've been to those places in Esco and those places in Carlsbad that are supposed to be the mecca for beer, and this place is MUCH better and has a HUGE selection of IPA's and Sours. Liquor stores in California really suck compared to the Midwest. Except Fallbrook Liquor. It seems like a no frills place but they have a really great selection of top notch but slightly obscure beers. They also have a several-thousand dollar bottle of Laphroaig. The manager and the two other guys who work there daily are very friendly and helpful. They even recommend things to me unprompted (because you know most guys don't want to have to ask about beer anymore than they want to ask for directions, even when they need them)! read more

Do not presume every customer is equal. While waiting to conduct a Western Union transaction, every other customer was given preferential treatment. I was never asked if I planned on buying anything. The explanation is the store does not make any money on Western Union and the employee made the false assumption that was my only transaction/purchase in the store. However, lottery tickets are considered high stakes sales and over-ride Western Union and other customer service needs. read more
