Went to get an exam on my eyes and Dr. Ramos said he would do an extensive exam and by the time I left, he told me I was a Glaucoma suspect. It alarmed me so I went to another optometrist where they had more state of the art equipment and was told that they could see no signs whatsoever of possible glaucoma. Dr. Ramos was wearing a flashy suit when I saw him and it struck me odd. That led me to think that he might have diagnosed me as a glaucoma suspect so that he could see me as a patient multiple times a year (for more money into the clinic). I read some other reviews about expensive glasses so this place sounds money grabbing. I would avoid, go somewhere else. read more

Was treated with disrespect by the front office staff. Waited 40+ minutes for a Contact lens checkup for my daughter to only be seen about 5 minutes by the doctor. We have been going their for 3 years and every time we go its something else. Now... now i am trying to order contacts online and the online store is calling the doctors office trying to confirm if the prescription is correct (I guess they have too), and the front office is saying I am not even a patient. Ive been over 2k there over the 3 years what the hell! I even attached proof that I am a patient there, though wont be anymore! DO NOT GO HERE! read more

Dr Ramos was unable to accurately provide a correct prescription and refused to continue working toward a satisfactory outcome. After paying up front, he made me feel guilty for not being able to see correctly in the amount of time he was willing to spend, and virtually gave up. I spent $1100. at his office and I left shamed, disappointed and struggling with the glasses he provided. I would not recommend this office. Zero stars. ..... read more

The staff and Doctor Ramos are the best! I hadn't been to the optometrist in a couple of years, so I reached out to our local Friends Of Fallbrook group to get some recommendations for a place to go. At least 40 people reached out and let me know that I must absolutely go see Dr. Ramos. They did not disappoint! Everyone was sweet and thorough and really took the time to take care of me. What was even more challenging was that I needed to take my young kids with me to the appointment. Everyone was super accommodating and put up with the shenanigans that are my wonderful children! haha. I would recommend this establishment to everyone. It was a little pricy, but I have a feeling that wherever I went would be expensive due to my prescription. All in all, very pleased! What a rip-off Did you know regular ol glasses cost $700? I didn't. And that'sincluding my lousy insurance.But the real kicker is Ramos talked me into buying this outrageously priced stuff to kill mites on my eyelashes. I asked my glaucoma opthamologist about this and he said over half the population has them, they do no harm and a simple wipe with baby shampoo removes them but he said not to be concerned. Not Ramos though - he wanted to sell me hundreds of dollars worth of his magic sauce to cure these 'mites'. I have zero confidence from his point forward. read more
