And not crowded especially for a Saturday. We were pretty impressed with all the amenities. There are tons of places to BBQ, have group gatherings or just hang with your own family. We even found a small amphitheater! So cool. There are at least 2 baseball fields, a volleyball court, soccer field etc... We saw a strong park ranger presence as well. I like how this creates a safe environment. The bathrooms we went to were simple, yet clean and there are trees all throughout. It's such a perfect place to be for outside air, family time and small gatherings.

This park is a self pay park just like the Live Oak dog park across the way. One on the NW side and one on the east side. I've come to the park many times and only once was there a park ranger at the stand. You can also obtain annual pass at the ranger office. There are two baseball fields, an open field for soccer and a volleyball sandpit on one side. The other side you will find all the picnic areas along with the kids play area, a horseshoe pit, a small stage, a small amphitheater and basketball court. You can make reservations for large events at the rangers office (not at this time because of Covid19, large gathering are prohibited) You will also find kiosks that will share some history about Live Oak and information on nature that surrounds or is in the park. Its is shaded with many beautiful and large oak trees and some sycamores. Restrooms are available on both sides of the park. Recently, they improved the ramp to the park from the parking lot. Handicap accessible, ready. They also made a nice cement walkway, making it a much safer walk area. They also added a few more picnic tables and planted a number of new oak trees. I enjoy strolling this park, but I find my dogs seems to enjoy just as much. (There are 4 posts that provided disposal bags to clean up after your pet.)

NOT WORTH IT FOR THE PRICE $$$ I tried Doggy Adventures for…read morethe first time through the Sniffspot app, excited to surprise my boyfriend with a magical couple hours, hiking trails, spending time in the stream, picking avocadoes, and drinking fresh squeezed lemonade (as advertised on Sniffspot app). Sniffspot laid out the charges for that as $156 to cover me and my boyfriend and our 3 dogs to include access to the stream, avocado picking & freshly squeezed lemonade. I texted the Doggy Adventures team months in advance to get more info while I was booking it, but didn't hear back until 1 day before our scheduled visit. Once they contacted me, they informed me the ONLY thing covered for the $156 paid, would be doing the basic trails on one side of their property (the trails are only on a small portion of the 35-acres). No stream. No avocadoes. No lemonade. That's $78/hour to hike what in my opinion, is a pretty basic dirt trail that I could do for free just down the road. Really the biggest allure was that it was only going to be us hiking the grounds, no other dogs or people, which for my reactive pup, was a PLUS. We could hear the stream, down the hill, but because I couldn't pay the additional $157, access was denied to us for that part of the experience. On a warm sunny day in the hills of Fallbrook, with 3 panting dogs, that was just torture. The whole thing seems pretty strange. Advertised as magical, only to be denied to the experience unless you pay another $157, which was NOT disclosed on their Sniffspot page, which also is not cool. Add insult to injury, their trails are crawling with California Burclover which releases burs that stuck to my terrier and shitzu's fur to the point that it was causing them distress/pain. It took us 4 hours just to remove them. It left our dogs eyes almost stitched shut from the burrs, in their ears, on their lips. It was horrible. I get that something like this is not directly the owner's fault, but the very LEAST they could've done was give us a warning, or put signs up or something, if they know people are bringing their dogs on to their trails. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, not worth the $$$, especially in this economy.

There are additional services you can add on to the adventure. I highly recommend ordering their housemade old fashion lemonade. It's absolutely refreshing. The owners, Dave and Alma, are responsive and very friendly. We will definitely come back again for another fun afternoon.

This is probably my favorite dog park. Its 3m away from home and its very clean…read more The dog area is huge and nicely kept. There are water fountains and bowls for the dogs. There's a 25lbs and under section and 26lbs and over section. There are actually 3 different areas. Its very big here and plenty of room for every kind of dog. The dog mommies and daddies are also friendly and take care of their fur babies' mess. I only ever got into a fight here ONE time with another dog dad. I almost beat the crap out of him bc he was so dramatic, rude and a solidified moron. He thought my 10lb dog was gonna hurt his datson puppy. This is a public space. You take your dog to the park and have to consider what comes with it. I go to this park at least 3 times a week. This is just unnecessary. Idc what people usually do, but saying something to me about it while every dog is chasing yours is just stupid. And I don't take crap. You say sumthin to me and I hope you can back up your words. I don't need my husband who was BTW just sitting in the bench on his phone. I can throw down doesnt matter who. Lololololol. When I think about this memory it makes me laugh so hard. Only when it involves my dogs or kids, the mama bear is loose! Lmao. Haha. Other than some funny experiences and great time for my dogs, this park is amazing!

She loves the water fountain; it was clean and the water was cold. I liked that there was a big dog side with two yards and a small dog side. Both were nicely maintained (as they should be since this park is closed for maintenance Wednesday mornings). It was constantly busy and a tad overwhelming for my dog; she just wanted to play with her ball but it kept getting intercepted. We'll alternate between this and Margarita Park (it's less crowded there). Plenty of parking and a big grassy area round out the benefits of this park for me. Oh, and I even saw restrooms.
