Love this dog park. They have a park for small dogs, medium dogs, and large dogs. They rarely have any dogs in the large area. Most go into the medium area which is completely fine with me because I like the park to be busy with lots of fun dogs for my pup to play with. Clean. Easy parking. Nice people and pups.

Just a short 10 minute walk from my home, this lovely, lush, green park lies right off Valley Parkway. There are 3 sections, small dogs, larger dogs and a 3rd gated area for any dogs. It's longer and probably better for the long distance ball throwers and their pups. What's great about this park is how clean it's maintained, the thick grass and endless poo poo bags. I've taken my pup to other parks that have more dirt/rocks and she's gone home with blisters on her paws. Also, I see familiar faces all the time. Funny how I recognize the furry friends and their names, but I can NEVER remember their human's name. Haha. Take your pup here and you won't regret it!!

Which call to choose. Lots are available at Mayflower dog park.

So this is a good dog park in my neighborhood. It's located right in front of the San Diego Humane Society where I actually purchased my dog. The place is pretty standard three different pens one for small dogs 25 pounds and under and two for larger dogs. One big benefit of this places they usually have a grass on all of the pens which is nice so the dogs don't get too dirty however during the summer months they can get a little bit dusty. But overall they do a pretty good job of keeping The grounds clean and trimmed. They offer clean dog bags and trash cans to throw away your dog waste. One big benefit of this part is if you go enough you'll notice certain people usually show up around the same times and they kind of grow into a dog park click or group and really becomes a social event. Of course with all dog parks you will find some patrons that disagree with either your dog or your dog ownership skills but I guess you cannot please everybody.

I've came to the park every Sunday for the past 6 months and it's such a great park! People are…read morevery considerate about picking up after their dogs, so it's usually pretty clean. They added new turf inside and it's made the park look much better, and my puppy absolutely loves rolling around on it. The park has two different water fountains, for dogs and humans. Also has trash stations and poop bags, along with several benches around the park and two picnic. Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars are because of the rude people we've met here. If you don't want your dog around other dogs, DON'T come here! And do NOT hit my dog because he's trying to play with yours at the dog park. Still one of the best dog parks around the area.

Every time I take my dogs there, the same couple is there with a very aggressive Malinois/Shepherd…read moremix that they clearly cannot control. The male owner lets the dog run all over the park, jump on tables, and rush the entrance anytime a new dog comes in especially smaller dogs. Whenever the dog starts acting aggressively, all he does is spray it with a water bottle. Today the dog went after my puppy, and instead of immediately controlling or removing his dog, he waited for me to grab my puppy first, casually walked over, and sprayed the dog with water. A few moments later, the dog tried going after my puppy again while my puppy was literally hiding underneath a table trying to get away. When I brought up the behavior, his response was basically that my puppy "needs to get used to it," that he's "training the dog not to act that way," and that it was "just dogs being dogs." But there's a difference between normal dog behavior and an owner failing to control an aggressive dog in a public dog park.
