Upon entering the garage, you must promptly sanitize your hands. You'll find a large bottle sitting on the table readily available for all who enters. The garage is set up with little games and prizes. Some toys and candy are absolutely free some you can win by playing certain games and others are very affordably priced. The experience as a whole is absolutely free, but donations are welcomed. And after experiencing all of the dinos, the pageantry, the creativeness, the garage/gift shop and all of the games it only feels right to donate so that he can keep this awesome experience going for many years to come. At the end of this wonderful experience, we were invited to sign the visitors guest book that is filled with signatures from visitors from all over the country, which was pretty cool. And at the absolute very end, me and the kiddos were instructed to pick up a gemstone and head over to the large dinosaur egg located in the front yard and toss our stones in to make a wish. We were informed that the wish granting rate was roughly around 90% so choose your words wisely and be careful what you wish for because it just might come true. I thought to myself "what an amazing way to end things, you know"... to remind the kiddos that there's still a little bit of magic left in the world. I think that's a great sentiment. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and if I had to sum it up in one word, it would "Dino-mite".... And yes, pun intended.

We visited on a Sunday right when they opened during the holiday season, mainly to check out their…read morecactus garden and the inside of the factory. There was plenty of parking and only a couple of families walking the garden. The cactus garden was decorated with Christmas lights and had a festive layout with what looked like an area where you could visit Santa plus a little Christmas village setup. Since we went in the morning, the lights weren't turned on, but I can only imagine how magical it would feel at night with everything lit up. The garden is free to walk during the day, and we saw that during the holiday evenings there's a charge, but it was only $3, which honestly seems super reasonable for the experience. The garden itself is a small paved loop (maybe around 1/4 mile if you take the different paths, hard to tell), but it was perfect to walk with my older mother. The cactus are beautiful, it's peaceful, and it's a nice little stroll without feeling like you're committing to a nature hike. When you go inside the shop they give you a tiny complimentary chocolate bar, letting you choose between milk or dark chocolate. The self guided tour was more of a viewing area: there's a large window where you can look into the factory and read information about the chocolate-making process. Since it was a weekend, there wasn't anyone actively working in the factory and the self guided tour felt more like an educational read vs an actual your. The shop also had a ton of gorgeous looking truffles and chocolates. Everything looked amazing, but we didn't end up buying truffles because they felt a little pricey (higher then See's from what I remember), though I'm sure price reflected ingredient quality and the work that goes into them. Overall, it was a really cute stop and a relaxing way to spend part of the morning. I'd like to come back to treat myself to a truffle and even to go experience the light display.
