We did the one day tour from Vegas to see both the Lower Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. First, I'm glad that companies like Max Tours offers these one day tours and second, don't let the 14+ hour day trip freak you out as the day is broken up with pit stops (i.e. snacks and bathroom breaks) and it's worth having someone else do the driving while learning about the areas between Vegas and Page, AZ. These two places are worth seeing IMO as the beauty created by nature just has to be seen with your own eyes. Shout out to Anthony who was our tour guide. What can I say, Jon is FANTASTIC. Did a full day tour to the Las Vegas Sign, Lake Mead Overlook, Hoover Dam & the Grand Canyon. Not only was Jon super engaging and informative, but he was FUN. We got to see all the Big Horn Sheep in Boulder City, the free roaming cows in Arizona & so many other beautiful natural and man made structures. Even though it was a full day in a Van, Jon made sure we were consistently safe, had plenty of restroom breaks, and fed plenty of snacks and drinks along the way. I recently took the 3 day tour of Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion, Antelope Canyon, Monument Valley. My guide was Elaine and she was absolutely phenomenal. She was super friendly and welcoming. She is extremely knowledgeable and happy to share all kinds of interesting information about the beautiful places we visited.  She made sure we were all comfortable, well fed and hydrated. Elaine is a superb driver, I always felt safe with her driving us to all our destinations. The tour itinerary was perfect, it included all the places I've wanted to see. Pure beauty. Plenty of time to enjoy each place, did not feel rushed. Lots of opportunities to take gorgeous photos and enjoy the scenery. Great hike in Zion, amazing hoodoos in Bryce, Antelope Canyon was unbelievable, Horseshoe Bend spectacular, Monument Valley and the 4x4 ride was so fun. The local guides in Antelope Canyon and Monument Valley made sure we had pictures taken at all the right photo spots. We also visited Williams, Az where I had a delicious lunch (BBQ brisket sandwich) at a fun place called Cruisers.  Loved the feeling of Americana. We got to go to Route 66 too, a cool stop. The lunches provided were delicious and filling. The chicken sandwich (provided by The Birdhouse in Page, AZ) was exceptional.  The beverages and snacks provided by Elaine throughout our trip were plentiful and always hit the spot for road traveling. The hotel in Page (La Quinta) was great. Very spacious, comfortable beds, clean and had a very nice breakfast spread. I highly recommend this 3 day tour with Max Tours and I plan on taking more trips with them again in the Fall. read more

So glad I found this tour to the Grand Canyon, it was so worth it! Everything was taken cared of for us, we just had to sit back, relax and take in the sights. Our day started with the #MAXTOURVEGAS van picking us up right at our hotel around 7:30 am. Our tour guide #MaxTourBobby had picked up other passengers at their hotels too. The van was comfortable and of course had air condition. There were about 13 of us on this tour and it was a nice small group. We had people on our tour from Virgina Beach, Georgia, Maryland, Australia and Hawaii. #MaxTourBobby our tour guide was jovial, and funny, gave clear directions on what to expect and what was next during the tour. He is a wealth of information, from the history of Las Vegas and everything Las Vegas, he had trivia questions for all of us to participate in and jokes. Also a music aficionado with play lists to enjoy on our journey. #MaxTourBobby also had a cooler in the back with unlimited soft drinks, iced coffee and water. He also had Muffins, and snacks. (chips, nuts, granola bars, candies) We started at the Las Vegas sign and all got to take pictures, #MaxTourBobby is also a great photographer and knew all the great angles and poses for us to get great pics. Next stop was to the Seven Magic Mountains, which was so colorful and huge. We then went to grab lunch at this mini mart/gas station where there was a Subway and grabbed sandwiches to eat in the van for the somewhat long drive to the Hoover Dam and it was a restroom stop. Of course #MaxTourBobby told us about the the kinds of wildlife we might see on the drive and the history and construction of the Hoover Dam and about the Colorado River, we crossed over from Nevada to Arizona then headed to the Grand Canyon. When we got to the entrance of the Grand Canyon, we didn't have to wait in the long lines that we saw from the other bus tours and solo travelers that had to wait for the busses to take them to the Canyon. We drove right up, #MaxTourBobby took all of us in to get our tickets and then we hopped back on the van and headed to the Canyon. We got to walk around on our own and explore then, it was back on the van and headed to the West Rim and the Skywalk. On our way back to Las Vegas, we stopped at the Joshua Tree forest then headed back and we were dropped off at each of our hotels. By the time we got back it was almost 9 pm. It was a super long day, but so glad we took this tour, so glad that we didn't have to drive all that way to see all that we did with all of the commentating and wealth of information we were presented of everything we saw courtesy of our AWESOME #MaxTourBobby guide. That included a fun, bouncy ride with a Native American tour guide that pointed out the various mountains there. The last day were stops at the Grand Canyon south rim and Route 66, having lunch in Williams, AZ a small town with a lot of charm. I have nothing but great memories. All these places were amazingly beautiful. We had plenty of rest stops, and refreshments on board the comfortable van. Our group selected MaxTour for a tour of the Grand Canyon and multiple national parks. It left from Las Vegas after picking up people from multiple hotels. Our van was a brand new Sprinter like van that had 14 guest seats . Very spacious , you could stand up fully in it, large windows to look out of , and plenty of legroom . No bathroom on van, but our guide/driver seemed to stop every hour or so, plenty of stretch time. Our guide/driver was Amber C. She was AMAZING. She got to know all 13 of us pretty quickly, and drove and incredible amount of miles while giving us important facts. We are so glad Amber was our tour guide. She drove an incredible amount of miles on our trip, but we all just sat back and enjoyed the view out of the oversized windows. We saw Zion, Bryce Canyon, Antelope Canyon, HorseShoe Bend, Monument Valley, Grand Canyon, Route 66, the little town the movie Cars was based on, and maybe a few other places. I wish there were more than 5 stars to describe my experience with MaxTour, specifically their Death Valley Small Group Day Tour from Las Vegas. I used Viator to book, but next time I will book directly. The whole 12 hour trip went like clockwork, from pick up to drop off, and everything in between. It was such a pleasant, chill tour, since I wasn't having to do the driving! Loved the small group experience vs the giant bus (like the one we used for Hoover Dam a few days prior). It makes the process of getting on and off the bus, checking out the sites, meals, etc. go WAY quicker and easier. Definitely go with a small group tour, you won't regret it. Death Valley is an incredibly beautiful, magical place. I seriously had no idea just how gorgeous the national park was, expecting a pile of rocks! Salt Flats at Badwater Basin, the many colors of rock at Artist's Palette, golden colored badlands from Zabriskie Point, and the expansive views at Dante's View were some of the highlights. The pictures just don't do this place justice, and can't capture the beauty. It's a must-see in person! Jonny was our tour guide and driver, and he did an amazing job at both tasks. Not only was he professional, kind, patient, friendly and fun, he had super taste in music. We got to listen to some great tunes the whole ride to Death Valley and back. Jonny was able to impart his vast knowledge of the park, but also Las Vegas, so he really kept the day interesting. I'm already looking at doing another MaxTour next year while in Vegas. Found this tour on TripAdvisor for late departure to Grand Canyon West Trim. They are a small local company and voted Travel's choice Winner of 2023 on TripAdvisor. They have several tour options to Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon West or South rims, Antelope canyon, and Horseshoe bend. The late departure or sleep-in tour to West Rim is later start or 10 AM. The tour operator picked us up at our hotel. The van is clean and comfortable. We had 11 people in our group, fitted comfortably in 14-seat van. The tour company sent confirmation and detailed instructions regarding the map, pickup spot, and tour operator info. - First stop: Hoover Dam, about 30 min. We got to walk across the Mike O' Callaghan-Pat-Tillman Memorial bridge. - Second stop: Grand Canyon West Rim. We had about 2.5 hours to visit the Skywalk at Eagle Rock, and Guano points, with the option to visit the Skywalk for an extra $20. Due to a recent storm, the park did not allow tour buses and cars to get in the canyon. Everyone had to take the provided shuttle, taking visitors between 2 view points. There are bathrooms, gift shops, and a small restaurant at both viewpoints. At Guano Point, there is a one- mile trail with a good view of the Colorado River. Our tour guide/driver is Liz. She is knowledgeable of local history and very bubbly. During the trip, she has fun 80's music, plenty of water, soda, and snacks (included with the tour fee). We stopped at Subway outside of the park and got Subway sandwich for lunch picnic at Guano point. - Third stop: joshua tree in Mojave desert with beautiful sunset. We started at 10 AM and returned to Las Vegas around 7 PM. It is a fun trip. $250 well spent with many awesome photos and experience. I would definitely recommend this tour company and will check out other tour options (overnight to South Rim, Antelope Canyon, and Horseshoe Bend or 3 days tour to Utah). read more

Luis Garcia was our driver/tour guide and I was highly satisfied with his customer service. He is personable, knowledgeable and has a very clear voice. The van was comfortable ( although I do feel that 12 should be the max and we had 13) and the nice high ceilings made the overall feel even more roomy. The driver had plentiful snacks and drinks offered at will. The weather was not perfect and the driver had umbrellas for us all. He was a great camera man and made sure to capture memorable photos.
