He told us where to get affordable water (ABC stores) and why ABC stores (which are Hawaii-based stores) are around, took us through the history of so many hotels and the highlights. We did this in December, so I am sure it is a lot hotter in the summer, but there is a lot of indoor space. I'd still recommend a water bottle. All of us loved learning and he was a great story teller. You go all the way down to Container Park and get some coupons and restaurant tip sheet at the end. You will be on your feet for two hours so wear comfy shoes. But we actually would consider staying down in "old Las Vegas" the next time we come, all because of this tour.

Our guide was Luis, and he was incredibly knowledgeable and hospitable - he really attributed to a wonderful experience. We were accompanied by 8 other people that we didn't know, all of whom were very nice. After an early morning pickup at our hotel in Luis' van, we went to three other hotels to pick up the other people for the tour. First stop was the Fabulous Las Vegas sign for photos, and then a group breakfast at McDonalds. We then went on a very picturesque drive out to the Hoover Dam, and we spent over an hour there, enjoying the sights and learning about the structure and its construction. Lastly, we drove out to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. We enjoyed the glass bottomed Skywalk, and then took more photos around Eagle Point. There was plenty of time to check out the gift shops. We saw some replica Native American structures, and enjoyed watching some dancing. We then drove to Guano Point for a picnic lunch, a hike, and plenty more photos. Before the drive back to Vegas, our guide stopped by the Joshua Tree forest, and we snapped a few photos. It was such a wonderful day! FIVE STARS.

I'm a sober tourist who doesn't gamble, but loves Las Vegas, and this tour was still awesome for me without booze. Really a huge fan of the book Ricky put together that they bring on tours for people who prefer visual and auditory learning. It's a really comprehensive tour that focuses a lot of mob and sex worker history, both of which are very interesting and worth preserving to me! The emphasis on block 16 was incredible, I don't think I've seen another tour guide talk about this or include it in their tour details at all. TLDR: Ricky is always just as excited to give you this tour as you are to take it-- and it shows! A must-do for fans of Fremont, the mob, and old vegas history!

I received emails and texts telling me exactly where to go, what I should bring, and what they provide on the experience. I knew exactly how to get in touch with my guide and exactly what to expect. 2. They have glass bottom kayaks! I felt very secure in my kayak even as a beginner and no one in our group came close to tipping over. 3. We weren't rushed at all. Our guide Jordan gave us several breaks, took us on a short hike to get the best photos, and invited us to swim in the cooling water as well. A lot of companies rush you to the Emerald Cave and back, but we were able to enjoy the entire Colorado river experience. 4. They employ Jordan. Ask for Jordan if you go (though we did interact with other Outdoorster guides who were all very friendly and helpful). Jordan had snacks and water for us, took tons of photos, was patient with all 10 guests, had helpful information and suggestions about Las Vegas, and was just a genuinely friendly gentleman. We had a BLAST and have enough photos and videos and memories for a lifetime - but I'm sure we'll be back again soon for more!

Two days before…read morethe tour, the company e-mailed saying the tour was canceled due to the required minimum number of passengers had not been met and that a refund had been requested. After waiting about six weeks and sending two follow-up e-mails, I still had not received the refund, so I disputed the charge with my credit card company and received a refund through the dispute process. I understand cancellations can happened, but I was disappointed by the short notice and refund delay.

I think they were having a photo shoot. Mine tours are at 9am, 12pm and 2pm, WHEN THEY HAVE 4 OR MORE ADULTS AND A RESERVATION. We called at 8am when they opened, they didn't have anyone reserved for 9 or 12, so we made a reservation for 2. Reservations can be made by calling 702-291-0026. It is $20.00 for adults (13 and older) and $12.50 for kids 5-12 (kids under 5 free). When we arrived at 2pm there was a good sized group, about 19 people!
