    I wanted to warn the community about "At home properties"…read moreWhen we first got to college station, we didn't know where to live. We trusted "at home properties" to show me and my children a good reputable place to live. They showed us 2 apartments only and said we were limited on options. We'll long story short 3 years later, they were THE worst company we never got maintenance done etc and walls foundation if tge whole place were falling apart, They re -did university oaks Blvd side walk in the front, and A LOT of bugs started coming out in our place. We sprayed sent ppl etc and the bugs started getting worse. When I asked the at home properties to help with the sit, all they could do is talk about how I should get with the neighbor attached to the duplex and schedule a spray with them becsuse they said the bugs would go from their apartment to our When we would spray. Last but not least, after we had to leave with 2 months left of $1000 rent payments, we cleaned it good and everything and they are now trying to charge us $13,000! They are trying to charge us for electricity being on while they renovate and everything! They have been the worst nightmare and now I am filing a complaint with TREC and finding out there are so many like me in the community. We have to take a class action lawsuit or help ppp that move into these neighborhoods by the school it's not right and they are getting away with things.

After deciding to go with the property they showed me, the process for necessary paperwork was done quickly. The apartment was ready earlier than expected and was move-in ready and very clean. I was even surprised to find Gatorade in the fridge during our move-in day!

I called TM5 based on what I read. Katie called me within a few minutes and we made an appointment to meet. She came with comps, a target price and a marketing plan. We set a price which was fair and a little higher than I expected. The first day the house was on the market I received an offer for the asking price. Well, the offer fell through. Katie assured me that we were in good shape and we continued to have steady traffic for the next few weeks. I received an offer and accepted it. We are closing within a couple days. During the time my house was listed, I needed a recommendation for a roofer and lawn service. The people Katie suggested were the best. Not residing in Bryan, I would have had no chance picking these companies at random. This relieved a lot of stress while my house was vacant for a few weeks. I highly recommend TM5. If you happen to have chance to work with Katie, jump on it. She is terrific!

    Hard NO.... I passively buy and sale homes (3 sold this year). This sale was of my mother's home…read morethat was setup in a Trust before she died. I am not too familiar with the sale of a trust home process and neither is Melissa Torres at this title company. Her inability to explain the process, documents needed, and the actual work required to close the deal was astonishing. I was copied in on communiques to the buyer I probably should not have been with no explanation on the details, asked questions that never were answered or had to re-ask multiple times continually, etc... At one point, Melissa actually had the audacity to ask to speak to my mother (it was explained she passed) and showed a complete lack of empathy when I reminded her of such. It was that problematic. I typically use Stewart Title, which I have never had a problem with for their professionalism, knowledge and service which I am running back to for my next buy this fall. For University Title - HIGHLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING....

    I had a very frustrating experience with this title company. After my closing, they kept my money…read morefor a week and then suddenly closed the location without notifying anyone. I completed all my paperwork and tried repeatedly to contact the office, but no one answered the phone. I also sent emails and received no response. Eventually we found out the office had permanently closed, but no one reached out to us or explained what was going on. During this time, none of the other offices stepped in to help or communicate with us. We had to call and push for answers every single day for over a week just to get information about our own money. This situation caused unnecessary stress and delays. A company handling people's money should have much better communication and accountability. I would strongly recommend others be cautious when dealing with this company.

    0 stars. 1 star is too high for this joke of a company. It's impressive how incompetent the…read moreemployees are. They sent an advertisement. The advertisement was the only notice to renew the lease. They only reached out directly to say I had to move out in a month and find a new home. The lease renewal contract should not be in an advertisement. They have never done that before till now and it's incredibly disappointing how little their employees think. Do not ever work with this company.

By all means do not lease from here they seems…read morelike they have it together in the beginning but when it comes to you being on the same page and people communicating you'll get different responses or no communication at all. They'll try to bullying you by given false accusations when you are trying to leave the property to blackball you from getting to go anywhere else but then still have to vacate their premises. You fill in the move in checklist they don't fix anything that you put on there they try to charge you for random things that's not in the lease, for instance there was a platform already on site and they charged the neighbor for it when it was there before he moved in and they said everything had to be moved from in front. I would pay my rent and get an email stated that I didn't buy luckily I keep up with it because they were trying to charge me late fees and start the eviction process, even though it wasn't accurate and a couple days before they would do it. They love to send emails out the day before or should I say night before to notify you about something when everyone isn't checking emails. Run don't walk away from here. I've always paid on time didn't give any problems even when they dropped the ball several times but their trying to bad mouth me. It's not bad enough ever where you go is charging these outrageous rate for small spaces that don't provide you with much, but to go around and intentionally try to make someone look bad when you've dropped the ball on numerous occasions and not a word of malicious from me about you'll. It's sad I would never try to tarnish when image on miscommunication, when their been miscommunication on United's part several times. Just know God sits high and looks low, and that's why people keep leaving those properties because you can't treat people that way, it's just wrong and sad that you'll think that's ok.
