This is my second year living at Sterling and I have loved it! If there is ever an issue, I submit a work order and within 24 hours maintenance has already fixed the problem. Totally dog friendly and love our pets! They even have a weekly contest where they pick one dog as Dog of the Week and if you're picked, you can win prizes! They have dog treats in the office always! There's several patches of grass all around the building. There are also free dog bags and several trash cans so you can pick up after your dog. The price is awesome compared to similar complexes. And I love the pool and gym! Plus the staff is awesome! The WiFi is also super reliable and fast! read more

Do not live here. I wish I could give zero stars. Where do I start. The management here is genuinely some of the worst I have ever experienced. Santonio and Brianna run this place like they have no idea what they are doing and every interaction I've had with them has confirmed that. They are unresponsive, unhelpful, and when you do finally get a response it's dismissive and tone deaf. They removed trash bins from our doors with absolutely zero notice and then had the audacity to charge residents for a trash violation because we didn't know what to do without them. When I raised the issue, instead of taking accountability they hid behind policy emails and acted like the communication breakdown was my fault. Five dollars isn't the point. The point is they don't care about their residents. On top of that they consistently lose packages. This has been an ongoing issue that management has done nothing to fix. You are paying good money to live here and can't even trust that your deliveries will make it to you. The apartments themselves do not live up to what they sell you on. They will smile in your face during the tour and tell you everything you want to hear and the reality of living here is a completely different story. I genuinely believe I could do a better job managing this place on my own. Save yourself the headache and find somewhere else to live. You have been warned. read more

Our college daughter lived here 2+ years, and it did nothing but worsen the entire time. She and her roommates were obviously too distracted trying to make it through college to deal with each problem, which is clearly what they're relying on to make money while keeping the bar so low. My only recommendation if you're shopping for a place to put your college student, if you think you're narrowed down to moving in here, you need to keep right on searching, because you will regret being baited in. Guaranteed. They are clearly only able to survive by virtue moving is too much trouble for college students and options seeming too low. This place is really a glorified slumlord property. Like everything in the business world, it's always down to management, and this place SYSTEMATICALLY walls off tenants from a means to get problems dealt with. Whichever means you attempt to get a problem dealt with, email, phone, or literally in person in the office, you WILL be funneled into their "system" which is basically waiting weeks on end checking your email, while they run out the clock. The actual living conditions are obnoxiously poorly managed. Depending on how soon trash day is, the halls will have stacks of trash waiting to be picked up, which is the sorriest excuse for a system. Regularly, the trash will be puddling and stinking and drawing flying insects which of course will migrate into the living units. They obviously don't regard this as a failure needing redone at all. Basic repairs, addressing failing appliances, electrical problems (which some were straight-up fire hazards they were in NO hurry to confront), were each and every time a solid pain in the neck to deal with. The reason I'm back to even leave this review is despite having moved out months ago (thank jeebuz), we're STILL disputing them trying to bleed more money out of us to replace a refrigerator that was working fine and other petty expenses. Clearly, trying to grab a bit more money as people head out the door is baked into the system here. And of course, NATURALLY, they don't practice/are unavailable for formal walk-throughs to prevent such tactics; they rely on hitting people long after they're back home states away and less capable to formally dispute them. All I can recommend is finding whatever else accommodations you can possibly get, whatever you think is a worse option, trust me, it's not, take it. And for whatever reason you find yourself being corralled into moving in here, instruct your college child to gather evidence of everything, moving in and out, and DEMAND a walk-through to be scheduled. Maybe even invest in a civil attorney, in advance. You will regret it not preparing, because this is obviously how this place makes ends meet. It's not a bug. It's a feature. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!! First off, the management is absolutely ridiculous. They continuously made false promises, never responded to us at all or straight up lied to our faces repeatedly throughout the entire year. We were convinced Baliee (the property manager) wasn't real because management would tell us she would call us and she never did! Now for the bad part! Our AC in our apartment was broken for roughly 8 weeks. 8 WEEKS! We requested to have a rent reduction because it is borderline inhabitable for us to still be paying over $800 a month, which we never got ANY compensation for. Next, the cleanliness of the building is outrageous. I feel embarrassed bringing friends here (my family won't even come inside) because we are constantly walking in sticky, smelly hallways with multiple bags of trash that pile up outside each units door. The stairs are constantly disgusting with bags of trash and sticky stuff everywhere! No wonder our entire building has fruit flies! This also goes for the gym which there is NO means to wipe down any equipment. They also had a cable machine when we first signed and simply got rid of it with a replacement never to be found. Don't even get me started on the AC in here... why is it 80 degrees?? Finally, I would like to exclude the maintenance team from my review. The only upsides to living here: close proximity to campus, and living with friends. That's it. Management never responds to emails, and the sheer amount of trash on each floor is disgusting. At the time of writing this, the third floor smells like the HEB seafood section, and the first floor smells like something took a crap and died. I pay ~$800/month to live in a garbage dump. Management is EXTREMELY strict about towing. My S/O came to visit over the weekend, and he had to park on a resident floor because every space on the visitor floor (the first floor) was taken. His car was towed, and he had to pay $350.50 to get it back. At my old apartment complex, there was some free parking on every floor for people who didn't want to buy a parking pass or couldn't afford one; here, it's basically required. You also have to pay an extra $5 to receive packages. I will not be signing here next year, and I recommend you don't either. read more

This apartment is so bad it's actually comical. There are a whole bunch of things wrong but here are the main highlights. 1. Poor Safety: Most of the exterior doors (from the street and from the garage) can always be opened without scanning a key fob. The scanners are there, they're just broken and have been all semester. So basically, anyone can get into the building. 2. Poor Maintenance of Public Areas: Basically all of the areas that are supposed to be maintained or cleaned by the apartment are rarely cleaned/fixed. The hallways are disgusting and constantly have trash strewn about or even sticky spills left for weeks. Stairwell lights have been out nearly the entire semester, and the mirrors in the parking garage to see around the blind corners have been shattered for months as well. Smoke detectors and light fixtures are hanging by wires throughout the hallways too. The only time I can recall them cleaning was conveniently right before parents' weekend when they cleaned the hallways and elevators. 3. Noise: My complaint on noise doesn't have anything to do with the complex being located on Northgate, that was expected. However, the apartments have incredibly thin walls (I'm talking able to hear every word of your neighbors' conversations thin). There are a lot of students who have dogs here who will let them bark and howl through the day and night without end. If anyone near your unit is throwing a party you will get to bump to their music with them until the wee hours of the morning, even on a random Tuesday lol. Also honorable mention to the smoke detectors which will go off any time you even open your oven, you'll also hear your neighbors' going off in the distance multiple times a day. 4. Pests: Not sure the likelihood this would actually happen to you because it may have been just my unit, but when I moved in I was first put in a unit that was INFESTED with roaches. There were easily hundreds, they got in the fridge, crawled on beds and we found eggs everywhere. The situation was so bad my roommate's parents were threatening legal action. They did end up moving me to a better unit pretty quickly though, thank goodness. I have heard about pest issues in other units but not enough to assume it's a property-wide problem. Now some pros: the office staff is really nice, 24/7 package lockers are convenient and the location is close to campus and Northgate. read more

This is the worst place to live in College Station. The first night that I moved in, I found roaches in my bed. They were everywhere; in the kitchen, bathrooms, but the fact that they were crawling in our beds made it impossible to live there. Not only that, our front door was broken upon move in so we slept several days without being able to lock our front door. My shower rod, chair, couch, dishwasher, drawers, bedroom doors, everything was also broken upon arrival. There was even a hornet's nest in our balcony. Considering that I were charged a $250 administrative fee, I expected the place to be clean and ready to move in. But it was nothing but the opposite. As the days went on, the issues only got worse. There was a major infestation in our apartment and the management refused to do anything about it until my parents involved the law. Only then did they schedule a pest control company to come in to do something. After they allegedly had a spraying, nothing was fixed and there was still an infestation. Then finally after 2 weeks, an actual pest control specialist came in to spray and we were informed that the severity of the issue was going to require additional sprayings. We don't actually know how many times the services were performed after the initial time but to this day, over a month after move in, we still have roaches. They were in our main fridge, couch, beds, and the stove so we asked for those to be replaced. The team was horrible at communicating and only after over a dozen emails and several meetings in person were the fridge and stove replaced. Our beds and couch are still the same and now we're expected to move back in?? They told us that they cleaned but there were roaches all over the carpet still. They lied several times about what was being done and we can never rely on them to actually fix the issues. All this time this unit was inhabitable, we moved into another unit which soon started having issues. There is a huge sewage leak outside our door in the hallway and has been getting bigger. It's been there for about 4 weeks and it smells like feces. There is a puddle of sewage that fills up everyday and the hallways soon become inaccessible. Turns out this is a foundation issue and who knows how long it will take to fix. When we asked what this was, we received no response initially and the maintenance team continued to ignore us and this issue. The halls and every aspect of this apartment complex is filthy and disgusting. Every floor smells bad but the first floor has a literal sewage leak. There is trash and random garbage everywhere. The hot tubs don't work. Only 1 treadmill in the gym works and half the equipment is broken. My roommates and I aren't the only ones experiencing issues. I see people come into the office everyday with issues about their AC being broken for weeks, roaches, etc. They are also usually turned away, just like we have been, and told that it will be fixed and it never is. Don't expect the property manager, to communicate with you properly. For several weeks, we tried to email her and even show up to her office but she was never there. She was the one in charge of fixing our unit but we could rarely contact her. Only after basically begging for compensation were we given a $150 credit. That's pathetic for the conditions we've been put under. After demanding at least month's rent, we were again ignored. Do not move here under any circumstances. Being college students, we have enough deal with. There is no reason to be treated this horribly and we don't have the time or money to deal with these conditions. if you want to pay almost $800 a month to live in a literal dump, boy have i got the place for you! I've lived here for 3 years. the hallways/etc have always been a little grody but I just put it off to college students living here, and it was never enough to affect me much beyond a gross smell. over time though it's gotten more and more disguising. the first week of move-in this year there was a giant trash heap big enough to almost block the entrance to the parking garage that they didn't take care of for almost 2 weeks!! it was only a blockage at first but over the days it started to smell like rotting meat. they don't have anyone hired that cleans beyond the people who pick up trash which is honestly appalling. just very gross, there's literally always a weird smell and it's a gamble which floor is gonna reek each day. the price is constantly going up for less amenities + broken amenities (ie broken gym equipment). it makes it even better how spotless they keep the leasing office just to make this place look good, but that doesn't cover up the sewage smell on the first floor so idk how much that will help to bring in new residents. oh and on top of this, the management NEVER responds over email unless, of course, it's about signing a new lease! even if you send multiple emails. they 100% ignore residents' concerns and literally only care about making money. honestly I feel like some of this stuff could be reported to the health department or something. they constantly do things that have me questioning legality. Living here currently. Almost all the amenities are broken. The gym is a safety hazard in and of itself. 3/4 treadmills are broken, cable fly machine is half broken, squat rack is broken, benches are obviously cheaply made except for 1, used to have a tanning room but they were too cheap to fix it so they just removed it. Pool door is broken so anyone can get in and the hot tub isn't a hot tub, it's just a tub full of lukewarm water (broken). The hallways always smell like trash and they advertise a working coffee machine, but it's been out since September 2022. It did work for about 2 weeks during finals week in December, but then it went back out again. Also, recently went to pick up my package and they gave me my roommates by mistake which leads me to believe they mistakenly give packages out to people who come in. I cannot recommend living at Lark. There's trash and dirty floors all throughout the hallways and a cockroach problem (I've seen 5 in the past month). There are multiple puddles of dog pee in the elevator, garage, and hallways. The management doesn't close the protective garage gate "to let tow trucks get in the garage" and there are no security cameras in the garage. I've heard multiple stories from other residents of their cars being broken into and their tires being stolen. The worst part is for the past 2 months, the power to my entire apartment unit has been going out every couple of days and I have to call maintenance and sometimes wait 1-2 hours for them to turn on my power from a panel outside of my unit. This has caused food of mine to go bad multiple times and I've also woke up sweating from there being no AC in my unit. Two weeks ago, I told management that I would be writing a Google review if there wasn't a permanent solution within the next 2 weeks, and today my power just went out again. Really unacceptable, but will edit my review with updates if anything new happens. I would not live here again and CANNOT recommend it to anyone. Un-secure doors. Sky bridge connecting to College Station building has no lock and can be accessed by everyone. It's October and not all of the residents have garage gate fobs yet. Resulted in an open and un-secure garage gate allowing intruders to enter. Constantly closed amenities. Pool is closed 1/5 of the time. Raised rates for returning residents. Discrimination in enforcement of certain parts of the contract. Wouldn't allow some residents to hang signs on balcony and would allow others even though Sterling's contract states that hanging things off the balcony is not allowed. Slow elevator, slow parking garage gate, and unsafe parking garage. Must go 5mph to ensure you won't hit someone. Stairwells are filthy and never cleaned by management. Dog feces and vomit from the beginning of the August has still not been cleaned. Online payment tool constantly messed up. This online tool took $659 out of my bank account unauthorized and Sterling Northgate took 2 weeks giving me my money back. Hallways constantly smell like garbage because of the trash service Sterling doesn't allow you to opt out of. Every resident must may $10 a month for their trash to be picked up from the hallways. Maintenance takes an inconsiderate amount of time to complete work orders. Rooms are left dirty upon move in. WiFi is incredibly slow and doesn't work half the time. Elevators are incredibly slow. The security into the apartment is not complete. The gate is constantly left open and doors within the garage are unlocked allowing trespassers to enter. The rooms are barely sound proof and you can hear everything going on in neighboring units. The staff is unorganized, fails to pick up phone calls, and doesn't take responsibility for their actions. I was charged rent twice upon the first month and they put all fault on a third party as opposed to taking responsibility for a company they employ who are representative of their services. They didn't handle the error in a timely manner. I also had to call three separate times for them to send my roommate her lease so that we could sign up for utilities. Update: February 14th, 2019 Let me start by addressing what in my previous post has been addressed by Management. While Sterling Northgate attempted to lock the door located my the sky bridge, they merely put up a lock that doesn't work. Full access is still available and now there is an additional unlocked door available to intruders in their other building. Luckily, all residents have fobs now. That is their one plus and what they have fixed from my original message. Stairwells were cleaned once over Christmas break, yet the filth that has accumulated overtime due to the standard of residents has not been taken care of. Even more, Management consistently put fault on the residents in a recently deleted Apartment Group Message. My concerns for this apartment complex have only grown since my original post. Events are constantly cancelled, or not providing what was promised. The amenities, such as the hot tub, break on the regular with a slow turn around time. More importantly, staff's unprofessionalism is unlike anything I've ever seen before. Due to one of the manager's, Christina's recent faulty comment to my post (I really do urge you to read it below, if she doesn't delete it do to it's outrageousness and atrocity), I've decided to share a screenshot of one of Sterling Northgate's most unprofessional moments as it displays perfectly Sterling Northgate Management's character and concern for resident happiness. Christina, one of Sterling Northgate's Managers, joined the Apartment GroupMe under a pseudo name for the purpose of seeing what residents are saying without them knowing who it was. How do I know this? She stated it in the GroupMe before demanding that it was deleted. Recently, Sterling Northgate has changed their Visitors Parking Rules, which has not been received lightly by residents. Many residents in the GroupMe have been asking questions to Management because of it. In response one night, "Chardonnay Strong", otherwise known as Christina Hammami, responded by asking residents to stop speaking about the manner because she wanted to get drunk. On or off the clock, it was extremely unprofessional for her to respond in this manner. If you're going to put yourself in the Resident Group Message, you must be cognizant enough to realize who all you are representing. Conveniently enough, Management demanded that the creator of the Apartment GroupMe delete the Group Message all together- their reason being that it was associated with Sterling Northgate's name and Management was no longer in the GroupMe. Convenient timing. I urge you to find anywhere else to live. The drama seen by staff makes the living environment unhealthy. The other reviews stating that Sterling rewards residents with GiftCards in exchange for good reviews is true. Please, find somewhere else to live. read more

I select a 0/5 stars rating because Lark Northgate is by far the most frustrating apartment I have ever had to deal with. They are rude, condescending, unaccommodating, and unbelievably ridiculous in their fees. First, when I moved in the apartment was not at all cleaned from the previous tenant. I had encountered several bugs, plenty of dirt left over from lack of cleaning, a pair of the previous tenant's boxers, and scattered clumps of hair in the carpet. The bugs I encounter ranged from ants all the way to flying cockroaches. They never cleaned properly before I moved in so I found this completely grotesque due to my OCD. Due to the lack of cleaning, this is what attracted all of the bugs to the building where I had to take matters into my own hands. I was forced to buy roach traps, air purifiers, and a bug spray to constantly rid my apartment of these pests. After recently moving out, they are charging me an extra $55 for damage and cleaning fees when I have done nothing but maintain the apartment better than their own maintenance staff. The maintenance staff can't even be bothered to pick up the trash on time despite their valet trash amenity, clean the floors in the hallways, rid the floors in both the building and garage of trash, and clear the horrendous odor in the building. I specifically call out Bailee Saenz, the general manager, for absolutely terrible management of the building. She is difficult to communicate with and unable to understand simple terms. AVOID LIVING HERE AT ALL COSTS. They will make you pay unnecessarily high fees for a dump of a building. read more

Being my first year as a transfer at Texas A&M, I had no idea what to expect from this complex. To say my experience has been fantastic would be a complete understatement. The staff is extremely friendly and genuinely cares about having a relationship with each student. Management is world class. WiFi is reliable and strong. Maintenance requests are answered promptly and efficiently. Sterling hosts weekly events providing food and great vibes, making the experience living here truly immersive. I love using the study rooms as well as the rooftop pool to decompress and escape from the stresses of being a business major... and don't even get me started on the rent, it's mind blowing how competitive it is (and most of the time lower) than other complexes that provide much less. I will continue to live here until my time at Aggieland is up, and I'm so glad I chose this place as my home. read more

I moved into Lark last July and it had a rough start. Trash wasn't being taken out, it smelled awful and the gym equipment was always broken. However, I assume they changed management or something because recently they have been doing a much better job. I see people in the halls cleaning the floors often (even though they have permanent black marks on the tile which continues to make it look pretty dirty), there is someone taking out the public trash a lot more often and they just recently revamped the elevator floors which was nice. The big negative right now is still the trash service. It's much better than before but we don't get trash picked up on the weekends anymore which makes the trash pile up outside the door and smell awful. I think if the trash service is this complicated to deal with (since there's always been problems with trash here) I think they should just save their money and make us take our own trash out to the shoot. Although outside the apartment needs some work still, the actually apartment itself is pretty nice. I love the layout. Also if maintenance is needed, they are quick to the job! I think the furniture could definitely use some work because the fake leather flakes off a lot, but other than that I love my place! I know there's a lot of negative reviews on this place which is why I wanted to write one myself because I do not think it deserves a one star rating. At least not anymore. I have lived here for an year and it has been a great experience. The staff at Sterling Northgate are amazing and they get to your questions or any maintenance requests really fast. While being a lot of fun and hosting a lot of fun events once a month they also take precautions for Covid and make sure that everything is very clean and that everyone obeys the safety guidelines. My daughter has been a resident at the Sterling almost 1 year. There have been ups and downs as with any place. The most amazing thing about this housing community is the staff. It's awesome to have one group of amazing professionals in 1 place. Every one that I encountered were friendly and helpful, genuinely committed to making my sure my daughter was in a safe and hospitable environment. Sure there were issues but the problems mainly came from the tenants (people and their pets). The facility (common areas, personal living space, and the area in general) were fantastic. All this past weekend, the management of Sterling Northgate was advertising a breakfast they were holding on Monday morning. Multiple social media posts were made, a calendar had been posted for weeks, and staff members had even discussed this event with me in person. Yet for some reason, Sterling cancelled the event at 6:00 a.m. the day it was meant to be held without any explanation, remorse, or offer to hold it another day. Instead, residents were offered a coffee bar in the leasing office that same morning. I went to go grab some coffee just to find that their idea of a coffee bar was the standard coffee machine that is always in the office. When I went to brew my coffee, it was broken. The staff present in the room offered little condolences, and nothing was done to makeup for this sham of an event. This incident is indicative of the attitude Sterling Northgate's management has in regards to caring for its residents. Events are consistently delayed or cancelled, amenities are nearly always out of order, and I haven't seen the stairwells or parking garage be clean since the one week of winter break where it was cleaned and nobody was present (no, it has not been cleaned again since then, either). The cavalier attitude that this apartment complex takes towards ensuring its resident's happiness is further indicative of their lack of professionalism. The staff is present in the apartment group message, yet frequently complains about residents attempting to voice their concerns or complaints, even going so far as to complain about how they are just trying to get drunk but cannot when they have to respond to legitimate issues brought forth by the residents.. Little to no action is ever taken to remedy the issues that are present, yet multiple raffles and giveaways have occurred for residents who resign their leases. The compassionate side that this apartment complex shows in its tours nearly immediately falls apart if you show no interest in giving them your continued business. All in all, living at this apartment complex has been the worst decision I have made this year. For all the other options that exist on Northgate for a similar price, I urge you to seek out one that cares for its residents as opposed to ensuring their apartments will be filled for the following year. I am sure that this post will be responded to by one of the managers who claims these issues have not been brought to their attention or have been remedied. Both these situations are simply not true, and I will be sure to alter this review if either becomes true. For the moment, this apartment complex remains a waste of money with no sign of management turning this around. I assure you, other places on Northgate will better suit your needs. read more

The complex was incredibly unsanitary, dirty, and was experiencing broken gates and doors for months on end without any effort to fix these issues. When I contacted management about these issues, I had to send twenty emails to finally get someone to clean the apartment. When I continued to attempt to get these concerns further addressed, management suggested that I move out and re let the apartment. The re let would include a $350 fine. Management, instead of addressing resident's concerns, would rather them simply move out just to shut them up. I have attached a photo of an email chain detailing their response. I've lived here for approximately a semester and a half and I cannot say I've enjoyed it at all. At the beginning when I moved in for about a month there was a huge trash issue. You pay a 10$ fee extra every month to get your trash taken out, well my apartment so happens to be right across from the trash room and with all the new residents moving in I understand that there would be a lot more trash but walking out of my apartment and stepping on 20 trash backs was unbearable, nats were coming in our apartment and when the trash was cleaned up there would be grease and dirt trails from the garbage. Thats just the small issue. ANOTHER thing is that the elevators go out approximately 3 times a month, and walking 5 flights of stairs when i had the flu made me pass out when i finally got to the top. TERRIBLE. Another thing, theres a-lot of issues with this place, just small things and okay last thing because i could keep going on, the changed the lease in the middle of the semester saying "residents cannot park in visitor" so me not ever checking my email which maybe i should of read it but it was not in the lease, My car got towed from this place WHERE I LIVE. I went down to the office to beg if they can do anything and they said "were out of freebies to give, sorry." Management is 0 help!!!!!! i called corporate and no answer or call back to help me out. 200$ later and i'm broke and can barely afford rent here. Any other place would of called the towing company they are contracted to, to help me out because of my residency here.They do not care about their residents at all. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!! There is 1 elevator, this place is too expensive for the lack of stuff they do for their residents. This place is a night mare. The employees act like they don't give a damn and apartment complex will never take liability for anything. They'll lose your packages in the mail and it's not their pro8blem. Your washer will break and you'll have to wait three weeks for it to get fixed they'll tell you "we can't be held responsible for everything, it just happens." The pool is great but it's vastly overshadowed by the lack of responsibility that the company takes and the lack of competence that the employees have. This is my second semester here and it is utter hell. read more

I would give this place negative 5 stars if I could. This place is marketed great but it is truly atrocious. One of the main things is the constant disgusting smell in the halls as the trash stays there for so long. The apartment complex is not secure whatsoever the doors on the sky bridge and on the first floor are constantly broken which makes it so unsafe. The rent is unreasonably high & the parking is an absolute nightmare. read more

I think the best part about Sterling Northgate is that it doesn't feel like typical student housing. The building doesn't feel cheap. A lot of other student housing companies have nice model units and then the actual apartments are trash, but the apartments at Sterling Northgate are actually well made. The furniture is also made well. It's also close enough to walk to Northgate but far enough that you won't feel like you are a part of a party while you are trying to study in your room. The kitchen has a decent amount of storage too, and the parking garage is great! read more

Sterling Northgate is a great choice if you're a young college student looking for a safe and low price apartment to live in. They always want to give you the best rates, especially if you're already a resident, and will call you and email you to make sure you know and are up to date with your lease and that you are taken care of. However, no place is perfect; I would like to see a better arrangement for trash disposal (having a garbage disposal on each floor I think would solve this problem) just so that there is less build up in the hallways and it is more sanitary. Otherwise, I love these apartments and am renewing my lease for a third year for the 2021-2022 academic year! It's in a very convenient location too, if you like to be close to northgate, St. Mary's, CVS, etc. Have loved my living experience here! read more

I wish I could give this place zero stars. DO NOT LIVE HERE. The halls always smell and are dirty, management is a mess, and not to mention parking as horrible. There are gnats flying around the halls due to unreliable trash valet. The parking garage is riddled with trash and broken lights. The door to the building is broken. The quarterly inspection was barely done, air filters were supposed to be changed but weren't. The only good thing about this complex is the friendly and punctual maintenance staff. Not to mention that as a resident my car was towed from the garage and cost $300 to recover. While this place seems appealing in photos, the reality could not be more different. read more

Okay y'all where do I start. This place is the move when it comes to living in College Station. First off the location is everything. The bus route is easily accessible and walking distance to Northgate. Sadly the train does run close to Sterling, but the sound proof walls do a good job at keeping noise out. The staff here is fantastic and know me on a first name basis. Yes, there have been issues at times where maybe the washer/dryer makes a noise, or a leak may occur... but the staff is readily available at short notice. The staff goes above and beyond what is expected of them. They even host events through out the month like "Supper with Sterling" and "Wag Wednesday" (for your furry friend). If you've checked out the pictures, you would see our rooftop pool. I promise you it is always kept clean and is the perfect place for a kickback with friends. When it comes to cleanliness there have been times where she was sub-par, but the cleaning crew does deep clean at least once a week. Another topic that may have people wondering is the topic of safety. They have around the clock security, and they recently have installed cameras.
