I can't say enough good things about Deluxe Wood Floors. The hardwood floors on the first floor of…read moremy home were nearly destroyed after years of wear and tear from tenants--deep scratches, ground-in dirt, and overall neglect. I thought they might be beyond saving, but Anthony and his team were amazing. They carefully sanded and stained the hardwood, and the floors now look absolutely beautiful--like new again. On the second floor, they removed old carpeting and installed vinyl laminate, giving the space a clean, modern feel. They also tackled the stairs, removing the carpet, sanding the treads, and staining them to match the rest of the woodwork perfectly. Their attention to detail and professionalism throughout the process really stood out. Anthony was easy to work with, communicative, and genuinely cared about the final result. I highly recommend Deluxe Wood Floors to anyone looking to restore or upgrade their flooring--you'll be thrilled with the results.

He listened to our needs and desires and provided useful information and suggestions. We decided to go with a Mannington ADURAMax luxury vinyl tile and brought home a number of samples. Joe came out to measure our floor a couple of days after we made our selection. He ordered the tile while at our home to made sure it was in stock. We were very pleased with the price. As soon as the tile was delivered to his warehouse, Joe called us and the installation was scheduled in less than two weeks. The installation was not an easy job as there were 2 layers of previous flooring to remove and the floor was not level. The installers were amazing! They were very professional, courteous and left the work site clean each day they were there. They did a beautiful job installing the tile! An added bonus is that our floor no longer squeaks. We plan on getting new carpeting in our family room and will definitely be using Carpet Heritage for that and for all of our future flooring needs. It was a very positive experience!

I noticed the J Brothers Flooring office sign as I was casually driving, and decided to stop in. Their online reviews were sparse. The Somerset office was simple and unassuming (they have now moved to another location in Middlesex, which I have not been to). The owner, Jack, was professional and down to Earth. He did not talk like a "salesman," which I liked. He gave me different choices and did not pressure me into expensive options (in fact, he tried to find ways to save me money based on my budget). My family was also with me, and he included them in the conversation. He stopped by my house to take measurements, and was respectful (removed his shoes without asking). I decided to go with him because I felt he had great business ethics and was trustworthy. His guys did a GREAT job, and even handled my furniture with care. I looked at all the corners and their precision was impressive. It felt more like a true custom job than a "contractor" job. I had one small area that needed to be fixed, and Jack sent his guys and did the repair for free. I talked to another flooring guy who said "it's not physically possible - you need to rip out the whole area and re-do it." However, one of Jack's main guys did it in an hour. There's a lot of flooring companies out there, but I would recommend you give them a shot! They do other stuff as well (carpeting, tiles), but I have not yet used them for it.

On their website they say "Call us to come to your house for an estimate. We give free estimates."…read more They do not. On the phone Wasif was incredibly rude about me simply asking for someone to come and look at my space, as it clearly states on their website. My project is quite expensive- backlit marble or onyx. I know this isn't a cheap project. All I said was "I'd like to schedule someone to come and give me an estimate on a project with backlit marble or onyx." OMG. You'd have thought that I told him to go F himself or something!! Because that was the snotty, snide tone he took when he answered, "I'm the building manager! I can't just leave my business to come and give you an estimate!" He was incredibly rude, arrogant, and condescending. What a horrible, sad person he must be to speak to potential clients in such a way. I can't see him bringing in much business and was shocked to see he was client accounts manager. That job must require people skills, which he has none. Suffice it to say, after three minutes on the phone with this person, I will 1). Never use them and 2). Never recommend them to anyone. I worked dealing with the public for over 20 years and if I ever spoke to a client the way he spoke to me- for a simple phone enquiry- I would have been fired on the spot.
