My first time finally visiting the Falcon! Small place, but it was a great experience. The staff were friendly and attentive to our group of 8, provided options and suggestions on beers to try, and were quick to respond to an email request for a reservation. I didn't get the idea that they had much of a food menu, our group ordered from Pizza Pinos across the street which seemed like the normal thing to do. We arrived at 6:30pm and no one else was there - it started picking up at about 7:30pm. Last call was at 10 and they closed at 11 (Saturday). Will definitely go back - especially when the patio opens again!

I have been drinking Falcon Red Falcon Ale and Laggar Falcon Lager since back when they first start out. You can still get those from your local LCBO stores. And now they finally have their own brewery, bottle shop and taproom! I like their line of beers which has all these playful names and themes! The tasting area is spacious and you have the full view of the brewing area. You can choose any 4 beers on taps to create your own beer flight at $5.50. Or if you not really sure what you like, the friendly staff is ready to assist or give you a taste. You can get some of the beers in bottles or if you get a growler, you can fill that up with any beers on taps! I ended up getting the Canada Gose... Love the label design and it is perfect to drink on a hot summer day. So worth dropping by when you in the area! As almost all the one they have on draft you cannot find them in the Beer stores!

Came back today to try the new ginger beer, not bad but I still prefer the bomb girl. It went down one star as the service was not as good today as my experience from last week. I walked up asking for suggestions and it wasn't as helpful and welcoming as my first experience..

Extremely nice people here! It's a hidden gem but you'll enjoy their selection of beers. If you are new to everything I'd suggest getting their flights, it's so cheap! Only 6.50 for 4 samples. They change their selection of beers every so often, I definitely recommend their red falcon, brown cow, raspberry beret. When I came just now they changed some of their beers! I now recommend the fresh roast (coffee porter, so delicious), citra, and Salem stout. All have unique flavours and definitely makes everything worth it!

We have seen this place along Kingston Road in Between Pickering and Ajax…read more We stopped in to try their hot sandwiches. I had the veal and the wife had the chicken parm. I added provolone cheese, onions, sweet peppers and breaded eggplant. The wife skipped the eggplant on her toppings. For those braver than me you can add hot peppers to the sandwich. To start I ordered the steak cut onion rings. They came out fast, hot and crispy. As always there could have been a few more but there was enough to share. The sandwiches came next. There was a decent amount of topping both above and below the meat. The red sauce was just enough. Others places add too much and then the bun goes mushy. This was very well done. I saved half of my sandwich for later. As I walked it I did note $7.00 desserts and wanted to try the creame brûlée cheese cake. It was a shareable dessert with a drizzle of butterscotch syrup. The perfect accent for the meal. The place is a Pepsi not Coke place. Had it been then the meal would have been 5 stars. The place has friendly and attentive staff. The theme is rock with prints of Rush, Tragically Hip and other on the walls. It has a spot for live music. I am sure the place rocks on those nights. The only detraction was a few wasps that were also keen to sample our cheesecake on the patio.

It was a mingling type of event with finger foods, including Bruschetta Crostinis, Cheeseburger Sliders, Fried Chicken Sliders, Spring Rolls, Coconut Shrimps, and Assorted Flatbreads. Everything was really good, with very generous portions that resulted in lots of takeout containers. The food, drinks, venue, and staff were all excellent! The DJ provided a great mix of music all evening.

I remember that I was very disappointed by the food, but at that time, I thought that they were just doing some experimentation to introduce interesting Asian fusion food in this culinarily underwhelming town of Whitby. Thought it would be a good try. So I decided to come back maybe after this place settled more, but then COVID hit. And we never had a chance to come back until today. Unfortunately, the food experience was even worse this time. And their beer went very far from my beer preference, serving a lot of beers with wacky flavors - looks like those beers are taking over their craft beer lineups. Food: We had # Charred octopus with seasoned tomato sauce, chorizo, Calabria chili, ink tapioca crisp. Well, Octopus did not have "charred" flavor. Surface had no crispness. The portion was huge, but the octopus was rubbery texture, dry. The tomato sauce underneath it was just too much for the octopus portion. Over-seasoned & salty tomato sauce with additional salt and spice from chorizo pieces. Do they want to make me thirsty to sell more beer? Yes that might have worked, and unfortunately it didn't. I waited for our server to order another beer but it took her more than 15 minutes to come to our table . # Jagerschnitzel : Essentially, schnitzel. Came with braised red cabbage, apple sauerkraut, Yukon mashed potato with "mushroom sauce". Schnitzel was endlessly huge but dry. Mushroom sauce tasted like can or some pre-made cheap & junky taste. A lot of mashed potatoes. Well suited for those who want to get a lot of comfort food to fill stomach with no intention of enjoying delicacy. Beer was OK. They have rotating beer selections on tap. We had tap beers such as IPA, Scotch Ale and Premium Pilsner. IPA was not as good, it left a lot of one-dimensional bitter aftertaste. If I want IPA then I will go to Town Brewery. Premium Pilsner was good. We also had Scotch Ale which was also good with nice Scotch aftertaste. Do I come back? No, if the food quality remains the same.

The food is consistent, which honestly matters more than people give credit for. You know what you're getting and it delivers every time. The street corn with chips is legendary -- I've had people travel from the west end just to experience it, and it never disappoints. The roasted Brussels sprouts with dip are equally addictive. The birria tacos and fish tacos are solid, the drinks are great, and the staff are genuinely kind every single visit. This is one of my favourite spots I bring people when I want to impress without explaining myself. Highly recommend.

I had: Food - Jackfruit Tacos Drinks - Heat wave & Golden I have never had jackfruit before, so I do not know what the taste/texture is supposed to be like. I think this dish was created as a part of their "vegetarian friendly" efforts. The jackfruit had a good spicy kick. Overall, pleasant flavor but the texture was kind of monotone, not extracting the unique character of the ingredients. I found the soft taco was a bit bland and the texture was not as smooth. The drinks were great. They use a lot of interesting tropical fruits/plants' liquor and syrup. Each cocktail was loaded with sufficient booze. This place is definitely worth coming back for cocktails and other drinks. They have a interesting beer selection as well, mostly from local small breweries. They seem to be using a lot of local artist's work in their decorations as well, which makes me want to support them more. A new oasis right in the center of the town. Welcome!
