A burger shouldn't make you feel depressed.

Service was fine. Nice counter service. Quick to get my to go order. Hamburger definitely looks 100x better on their menu board. Are the onion rings a joke? I opened this up. (See pic)

Philly wrap with chicken. Definitely recommend if you are craving something like a Philly.

First time I went here, I tried the Philly wrap with chicken. It was DELICIOUS . Went here again the next week and we got the double cheeseburger and chicken platter. Again, VERY GOOD! I do recommend all those items. Great service and great food.

10/6/2022: Combo meal, i.e., breakfast, brunch, lunch, AND dinner!!!!

10/6/2022: I woke up too late cooking myself breakfast-AGAIN . . . DOH~I'm behind schedule! I gotta drive from Placerville attending an appointment via Mid-Town/Downtown Sacramento CA. Welp~Resigning thinking I'll just buy something to eat somewhere inbetween Sutter Hospital and Sacramento Food Co-Op, I guess; I'll just bumble down the street after completing my appointment and eat wherever BUT, I do not know ANYTHING regarding Mid-Town/Downtown Sacramento area at all which is where YELP! becomes poignantly instrumental finding cool, delicious food I will undoubtedly choose inhaling! Frantically searching YELP! I discovered Falafel Corner: YUM~Today, I do want inhaling sumptuous, exotic cuisine . . . Zip over to Falafel Corner-STAT because I'm egregiously famished! Upon embarking Falafel Corner's parking lot . . . The parking lot was JAM-PACKED and upon noticing Falafel Corner's marquis entrance, I noticed Falafel Corner's menu photo adhered to the window imploring me inhaling food here! So, I marched right into the restaurant and my eyes focused honing on ONE menu selection: THE COMBO MEAL! Okay~Let's inhale this deliciously enticing meal; undoubtedly, this combo meal shall be history. Oh????? What's this? Oh! LOOK: I get a FREE Turkish Delight because I'm a Yelper? OH, YEAH~Lol! I show the Man my YELP!'s Free Turkish Delight Schwag via my iPhone: Thank you so very much, indeed, Falafel Corner c/o YELP! I waited about five to ten minutes for the combo meal. Funny~I'm not interested reviewing Falafel Corner's "other" menu selections posted above the counter; in fact, I didn't bother looking~lol! Finally, the combo meal arrives. Yes-It's mine, all mine, and I'm promptly inhaling this immediately without further delay. The first thing I noticed upon opening the styrofoam container was the hummus appeared so creamy and so smooth . . . Then, my eyes gravitating clock-wise noticing the fresh, green salad-YUM . . . The combo meal is definitely a well-balanced choice for me . . . Whoa~The two main dishes appear as seriously intense POVs! Digging in, the hummus~oh-the hummus: Truly an orgasmic, foodie delight, indeed; inhaling the hummus was the first order of business. Second, inhaling the fresh, green salad . . . YUM! Third, voraciously attacking the two main dishes: Ooooof, I can only eat a few more morsels-waaaahhhh~I'm full! Sadly, I'll just resign eating what I can't inhale now as my dinner later this evening which is one-half of the combo meal I photographed~lol!

On our way to Lake Tahoe, we decided to give this place a chance. Loved their falafel wrap and platter. Greek fries and chocolate nut roll was okay. Overall it was a good experience. Service was quick. Kudos to the team.

    Gyro wrap + curly fries
    Larissa Y.

I doordashed for lunch and it's down the street from my work. The time it took for me to receive my order didn't take too long. The wrap was huge in size, stuffed with such flavorful meat and had the perfect amount of sauce:) would definitely order again. The only thing I didn't like was that the onions were whole sliced, like for a burger instead of diced up, which I prefer The fries were crispy and yummy too!

Was in town for a business trip. Was looking for a quick. Dinner option. I saw the reviews and came in not busy at all. One man operations he was nice took my order recommended the burger or falafel gyro. So went with the burger was a good choice would recommend and would go back to try other items.

    Salad with gyros
    Dan C.

I wasn't planning on getting food in this area but I was honestly drawn in by the smell of gyros. I got the salad with gyros added on, and took it home to eat during online class. The meat itself was good, tasty and with a good texture. I think it was tossed with a really light dressing, which was good, and stuffed with feta and cucumbers. I just wish there weren't 8 lbs of onions on top, and probably next time I'll ask for the meat in a separate container so it won't get as cold. But overall not bad.

Sauce tastes weird here, like a ranch instead of tzatziki. Had the gyro wrap. Won't be going back. Worker was nice.

I got the tikka combo which involves skewered lamb and chicken over rice. There's some hummus, a big piece of bread, and a salad involved. Overall, I thought everything could have been more flavorful. While I'm a sauce man, if a place doesn't beg me to ask for sauce or add more, I'm pretty impressed. Further, the lamb was kind of tough. Perhaps, some of the other items could be better. They seem to have some nice baked good options. I guess the $ is competitive, but for $20+ for an entree and soda... Service: order at the register. Not too much conversation involved. Maybe about 4 tables available to dine in.

They are located inside a Mediterranean market. We ordered from the bakery, but, paid over in the market. I got their beef shawarma sandwich, while my coworkers went with the chicken. It took a few minutes before our sandwiches were done. The sandwich was big and a very good value for the price they charge. The problem I had was with the meat as it was very gristly. The beef was marinated well, and came with tomatoes and onions. They were okay. I can't complain much as the price was very reasonable.

I'm not vegan but if I was I'd eat here daily, their olive salad (not sure of the name at the moment) is absolutely delicious, grilled veggies are cooked perfectly. Server did offer to let us choose 2 different meats for our two #41 Koobideh plates (2 beef skewers for $25), but I think we would have been better off just ordering one #61 All Koobideh plate (3 different meat skewers for $34). One plate has plenty of basmati rice for two people to share. She suggested the two #41 orders, instead of answering how much an extra order of rice would cost. Maybe you can't order a side of rice? Rice comes with each entree. By ordering the 2nd plate, she offered or included the $8 Bread Basket for no extra charge. It was my friend's birthday. I wanted to pay, and she wanted to order extra to go, so I wanted two separate bills, but it seemed too complicated to explain or disallowed. After the food was delivered to the table, server didn't check on us anymore. I guess the restaurant doesn't do anything special for birthdays. My friend thought all the koobideh tasted the same. I liked them in this order: 1) Lamb, 2) Chicken, and 3) Beef, but they're the same texture, so they aren't all that different. I should have ordered a different 2nd entree, instead of two Koobideh plates. The #18 Bademjan Borani eggplant appetizer was yummy. It did come with some bread, so you don't have to order the bread basket. The bread is served warm. The basmati rice was light and fluffy, but not flavorful or buttery. You can pay a $4 upgrade to switch the rice to salad or a fancier stir fried rice. Read the Vegetarian Dishes menu section to learn about the various fried rice or polo preparations. Our server suggested the Fava Bean Rice or Baghali Polo because it is a Persian New Year dish. Yelp reviewers recommended the Zereshk Polo, which includes barberries, a fruit similar to currants. $10 to add a skewer of veggies. $4 to add a salad is mentioned under the Vegetarian Dishes menu and Seafood & Combination Plates menu. I didn't like how the sugar cubes for the Persian Tea were served. It looked communal and exposed to the elements. You could see sugar dust on the serving bowl. Other Persian restaurants serve the sugar in a smaller covered bowl. Formal dining room. Lunch specials are Monday to Friday, 11 am to 3 pm, excluding holidays. Lunch prices range from $16-$20. 3 different $8 soup offerings: chicken barley, ashe reshteh, or green lentil.
