I'm very disappointed with today's experience. I brought my 3-month-old baby in because she has a…read morecough and has been crying and uncomfortable. Our appointment was at 12:00 PM, and it is now after 1:30 PM. We have been waiting for over an hour and a half, and we still have no clear idea when we will be seen. What was most frustrating was the lack of communication from the staff. They checked us in and then left, but nobody came back to explain the delay, give us an update, or even let us know approximately how much longer we would have to wait. With a 3-month-old sick baby, that is extremely frustrating and stressful. I understand that clinics can get busy, but parents deserve basic communication and consideration, especially when they are waiting with a very young baby. I also want to give credit where it is due: Dr. Azra Hashmi has always been excellent with our baby. She is usually on time, caring, attentive, and takes the time to properly listen and care for her patients. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Azra Hashmi based on our experiences with her. My concern today is specifically with the excessive wait time and the staff's lack of communication. I hope the clinic takes this feedback seriously and improves how they handle delays and communicate with parents.

She re herniated it 2 days from coughing since she got pneumonia . Her neurologist wanted a second opinion on what to do next . We called Doctor Geigers office and was told she had to wait SIX MONTHS to be seen by the almighty doctor since he thinks it is unethical!! We thought knowing we had a great referral from another doctor I would call again and explain the situation. Keep in mind my Daughter is 24 And has been through a lot this last year! 5 foot surgery's ,tonsillectomy ,back surgery that ended up with her in the Er from pneumonia and almost died before they had to put her on a ventilator!! Then a two week stay and weeks of physical therapy! Sooo rough year!! And she rehernated it from coughing so hard . I talked to Deb the Doctors personal secretary. Explained what was going on at first she seemed frustrated because she gave my daughter the reason which I have never heard of! But she listened and seemed to understand more and asked for us to send paperwork which we did. The next day she called and chewed my daughter out for having me call on her behalf! She stated she shouldn't have been bothered by me calling her because she is TWENTY FOUR years old! And I had no business calling her. She then asked to put both of us on the phone so she only had to explain this once so we didn't call her back!!! Well DEB if you were my secretary you would be fired!! You upset my daughter and pissed me off! No You will not disrespect my daughter and myself!! Think before you talk ! You are rude, disrespectful and a cold hearted person!

The office staff are good too. The one who stands out mostly with me over all these years is Allison. She pretty precise. The medical assistants and nurses are awesome as well. Not overly pleasant or efficient, don't seem to get along, and have very VERY mild senses of humor. So...pretty par for the course. The nurses (well, basically everyone who doesn't sit at the front) are all very friendly. Having extensive experience with phlebotomists, I can tell you the ones here are very experienced or just well practiced. The highlight is Dr. Panozzo who doesn't seem to rush, asks you the main questions and seems prepared to listen to your concerns, and refer you to the proper channels as needed. There is a patient portal which is helpful to communicate with the office. And the person who gives you the bad news (if there is any) is seemingly a nurse so if you have questions, she is prepared to answer them. It is not close to my house, but worth the commute.
