After reading some of the older reviews, I was honestly a little hesitant but I'm so glad we gave this place a chance because our experience was completely different We visited during one of the busiest weekends of the year (4th of July), and Ashley was fantastic. She was friendly, attentive, and checked on us often despite how busy the restaurant was getting. The drinks were delicious (Thanks Ashley!) ! I highly recommend the Blue Hawaiian and the Watermelon Crush. For appetizers, we ordered the Shrimp Diablo (jalapeño poppers), shrimp cocktail, chips, and guacamole ... FYI everything tasted fresh and flavorful with zero complaints. For our entree, we shared the Molcajete Parrillada with fajita beef, chicken, shrimp, and sausage. Every protein was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. Even the chicken, which is often overlooked at many restaurants, was moist, tender, and full of flavor. If you're scrolling through old reviews, don't let them discourage you from trying this place. Based on our visit, they seem to have made improvements. Maybe new management? The restaurant has a nice beachfront dining if you arrive early enough during holidays . Cute spot, it has a up and downstairs depends on your vibe preference. One helpful tip: there is clear signage regarding the paid parking. The parking fees are separate and are not associated with the restaurant, so be sure to read the signs before parking. Once again I took on a restaurant with mixed and not so good reviews, and once again I am here to disprove the "critics" that have deemed this establishment a 2.1 star. After a day full of sun, sand, and cheap domestic beer we decided to give this a try as it is very convenient and right at the heart of North Beach with direct access from the beach or the road. We sat outside as the weather was absolutely lovely and found ourselves by their stage, there was live music and though I was on the fence about it at first I ended up coming around. We were sat instantly after entering and our waitress was very timely, we decided to graduate from cheap beers to the margaritas. Though they were not served in a glass they still came out just fine, they were packed full of flavor and were very enjoyable. The rims were sugared perfectly and the drinks stayed frozen almost the entire meal. For the appetizer there were not many options that appealed to my palate at the time, however being the spirit of Tex-Mex ultimately it would've been a sin to not get the chips and queso. It came out within minutes and though it was your average restaurant queso it still served as a good appetizer and prequel to what was waiting for us. Personally I cannot understand why someone would come to an establishment 40 feet from the water and not get seafood, but nonetheless we decided on the Big Papi Seafood Boil. We were not disappointed. For perspective we had not eaten all day and still had leftovers! The boil is a combination of 2 halves of crab legs, 2lbs of crawfish, and 1lb of shrimp, along with 4 sections of corn and 4 potatoes. It is served with 2 cups of melted butter and a Cajun seasoning. The seafood boil really made this place come to life. Between being packed full of flavor, beautifully tender meat, delicious butter for dipping, and the option for extra Cajun seasoning it truly was worth every penny spent. The variety is perfect it could've used a little more crab but the sheer number of crawfish and shrimp evened it out. In summary I would recommend Fajitaville, the appetizers are mediocre, the drinks are well priced and delicious, but the seafood boil. The seafood boil is a must try. read more

We ordered a sweet tea and pina colada on the rocks and it super good not to sweet and not to over bearing on the alcohol, also order the 10 bone in wings with lemon pepper and half mango habanero . Wings came with ranch and fries . The wings themselves were super juicy and meaty not too greasy, and the fries were crispy and light, ranch was also thick and tasty ! Mediocre over priced Tex Mex food. The location is excellent, the service and atmosphere was better than pier 99 but the food was mid. The one star is for my husband's 40 dollar ribeye. We arrived at 7 PM to a completely empty restaurant -- that should've been the first sign. The waitress tried taking our order before even giving us menus. The menu was confusing, overpriced, and missing most of the classic Mexican dishes you'd expect. Then the food arrived... cold. Only the plates were hot. Nothing tasted fresh or remotely authentic. I literally had to spit out part of a taco -- that's how bad it was. Service was messy, the order was taken wrong multiple times, the staff didn't look very hygienic, and there were flies buzzing around. Just not a place I'd ever return to. We had a company event during the week and this was the perfect place to gather. It is located on the beach, has an outdoor deck with picnic tables and swings. The patio has a venue for live music or DJs on the weekends and you can't eat the ambiance of the sound of the waves and beautiful water at night. The food was awesome and the service was great. The meat for the birria was zero seasoned- it's like they cooked a roast and that was it..... second entree was Fajitas Paradilda which was beef chicken and sausage - very unflavorful. Stopped in for drinks. We sat at the bar that has great views of the bay. They have large doors that open up the bar for an outdoors feel. Even though it was not a windy day there was a nice breeze coming off the bay which made it very comfortable. Cant say enough about the views and atmosphere. We stayed at the Hotel DeVille, which is right next door. The first day (Friday) our visit to Fajitaville was pretty good. Three meals and some drinks + a 20% tip came to about $150. The next afternoon was not so great. I ordered the pork carnitas tacos, which the menu says are served with salsa verde, cilantro, and onions. My tacos had none of that. I requested some salsa (twice), and proceeded to eat the tacos. I could not have known until beginning to eat that there were no onions or cilantro. Being hungry and with the rest of my group, I kept eating and waiting for the server to return. By the time she did, I was halfway through my second taco. When I voiced my displeasure at having to eat very dry tacos, she said she would get a manager. The manager that returned was rude and unhelpful. When I told her the issues, she said she could discount my meal. I replied that I should not have to pay for food that was not served as advertised. She asked if I had alerted the server "ahead of time". That makes no sense whatsoever. When I told her that, she said I was not being nice to her. I said charging for and serving food that is not properly prepared wasn't very nice either. She walked away and took 10% off the bill (about $6). I had told her that I have eaten in restaurants in 30 different states and that normally my meal would have been comped. Her reply was "that is not how things work". Folks, this is not my first time eating out. I've been paying for my own meals for well over 40 years. 30+ states and 4 countries. The tacos were dry and unflavorful. The rice was nit fresh. The bowl of beans was delicious. My can of Blue Moon beer was served with a wedge of orange, but no glass, rendering the orange moot. I will not be back, and I will tell anyone and everyone that the floor manager at 3 pm on October 19th, 2024 is incompetent and rude. read more

Visited the property with excitement, was a fan when it was previously opened. Upon entry we were told it would be a 45-minute wait. As soon as we exited the elevator, we were told to sit wherever we wanted. We were one of two parties seated in the entire restaurant. Upon receiving our food we noticed the fajita tacos were 90 percent bell pepper and 10 percent meat. I thought perhaps the stuffed avocado would be better. The meat in there was no better. This isn't even the worst part. After being told our total (non-itemized) we paid. To our surprise (three couples) the totals had a 20 percent tip automatic without being told or shown in a bill prior. In total we paid 75 dollars in tip for mediocre service. And when we asked for an itemized total, our waitstaff had an attitude in providing the information. The sad part is we had drinks downstairs and the staff, music, atmosphere was great! unfortunately the food and questionable staff will probably prevent another visit.
