They are always woefully understaffed, and typically the staff seems like they hate being here as much as we do (tonight was an exception, staff was friendly). Included a photo of the updated fries in case you think they're the nice looking ones from years ago: nope, they're great value "McD's" knockoff fries. Just hit 7:10pm, the end of the promised time frame, no sign of the staff member yet with our order(You might consider building time into the back end of your promising time frame, so customers don't get disappointed, when the order is not time and they get frustrated). After giving staff time to bring the order out, my husband had to go back in to the restaurant to get our order and he admitted to me there was some misunderstanding/crossed communication that went on. Let's start with the HOUR AND A HALF we waited for our food. Apparently, they were raising the cow out back, because I can't think of another reason it should take 90 minutes to get a steak. During that time, drink refills were apparently a luxury service we hadn't paid extra for. When my steak finally arrived, it was so damn raw I was surprised it wasn't still mooing. I sent it back, thinking surely the second time would be the charm. Nope. Apparently, cooking a steak correctly was asking a little too much. But buckle up, because this is where the experience went from terrible to something you couldn't make up if you tried. A different waitress brought another steak to our table and asked me to cut into it to check if it was cooked properly. So I did, WITH THE SAME FORK AND KNIFE I'D ALREADY BEEN EATING WITH. She then realized she'd brought me the wrong steak. IT BELONGED TO THE WOMAN AT THE TABLE BEHIND US. Now, any restaurant with an ounce of common sense would have taken that steak back and made the woman a fresh one. NOT THIS PLACE! They turned around and SERVED IT TO HER ANYWAY! That's right, folks. Apparently, this restaurant offers a complimentary "try your neighbor's steak before they do" program. I didn't realize my dinner came with a side job as the restaurant's unpaid quality-control inspector. I had literally cut into this woman's steak with silverware that had already been in my mouth, and they served it to her like absolutely nothing had happened. At this point, I'm not even sure the health department would know whether to write a citation or just start praying. And after 90 minutes of waiting, lousy service, a steak they couldn't cook correctly, and watching them serve another customer food I'd already stuck my used utensils into, they STILL wanted us to pay FULL PRICE! When we complained, their first generous attempt at making things right was SIX WHOLE DOLLARS OFF. WOW. Six dollars! I guess I could use that to buy myself a drink somewhere else, since getting a refill here was apparently damn near impossible. After more discussion, they finally offered 50% off. But here's the thing: It wasn't about the money. It was about the complete circus we had just sat through. I can forgive a long wait on a busy night. I can forgive a steak being cooked wrong. Hell, I can even forgive slow service. But SERVING SOMEONE A STEAK THAT ANOTHER CUSTOMER HAS ALREADY CUT INTO WITH USED SILVERWARE? That's not just bad service. That's absolutely disgusting. If this is what they're comfortable doing right in front of customers, I'd hate to see what goes on behind those kitchen doors. Needless to say, I won't be returning. If you're looking for a place to spend 90 minutes waiting on a raw steak while accidentally taste-testing somebody else's dinner, this might just be the place for you. ZERO common sense. ZERO accountability. ONE star, only because Yelp won't let me give zero.

Everyone asks me what I do with the liquor I purchase.Depending on what it is, I will bake with it until it is gone(documenting the bottle before I toss it, so I can remember what I have used). For a very select few, I come up with a cocktail use for them around the holiday's(even the cook needs a bit of refreshment when in the kitchen).
