I had such a wonderful experience working with The Simple Luxe for my son's first birthday party…read morethat was farmers market themed! From start to finish they were incredibly easy to communicate with- responsive, attentive, and truly listened to what I wanted. Lisa and her team brought my vision to life, and it was even better than I imagined. What really stood out was their willingness to work within our budget without compromising on quality or creativity. They not only designed and set up all the balloons, backdrops, installations but they also spent extra time helping me decorate and design the farmers market with the custom gifts I made and/or purchased for my guests. The entire process felt stress-free and enjoyable. Everything turned out beautifully and we received so many compliments. I am truly honored to be The Simple Luxe's first farmers market themed client and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a talented, reliable, and kind vendor who goes above and beyond. If you have been following them on social media like I was and have an upcoming event - reach out to them and get a quote! You will not be disappointed!

We had an amazing experience with The Simple Luxe for our daughter's first birthday wildflower…read moretheme. Their designer, Lisa, truly brought our vision to life. We also wanted to include our late dog in the design, and she incorporated him so beautifully. Seeing the attention to detail in their previous work is what convinced us to move forward, and all of our guests were blown away by how everything turned out. Jasmine was also a pleasure to work with. She was very communicative, easy to talk to, and made the entire process stress-free from start to finish. She really listened to our ideas, gave us time to make decisions, and helped us stay within our budget. Huge thanks to the setup and cleanup team as well. They were punctual and respectful of the time we had the venue booked. My wife and I would definitely recommend The Simple Luxe to anyone (if it's within your budget). Their hard work and dedication to their clients truly shows in their work.

I try to observe how they work with their employees and other vendors rather than watch the reaction from clients. I always think happy employees lead to very happy customers. In this case every team member worked well together even in the stress of the event as their was a definite time crunch because of strict venue rules. Everyone was supportive of each other and the results were supreme attention to detail and ecstatic customer/guest reaction. These guys worked very closely with us to ensure a smooth event and I could see that translated into how well the client was treated. Excellent service from beginning to end.

Being that our company name is called Gatsby Chocolate, I thought it would be perfect to have a Gatsby-themed party, and Unforgettable Events completely delivered. Every single detail from our logo being projected onto the floor, to our logo on the bar, to our personalized name plates, was absolutely exquisite. Tashianna and her team are SO detail-oriented, and that's something I truly appreciate. They thought of everything. The entire event looked so gorgeous. The color palette was exactly what I was imagining, and everything exceeded my expectations. Working with Tashianna was SO easy. She was super communicative, and if a problem arose, she handled it gracefully. She kept me calm/sane during the whole process. Originally, I was supposed to plan this holiday party by myself, but a couple weeks into it, I realized I needed professional party-planning help, so that's when we hired Unforgettable Events. Tashianna picked up right where I left off, and alleviated so much stress. She communicated with all the vendors, had a schedule for the day of, and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. We truly couldn't have pulled this off without her and her team. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and I would hire her again in a heartbeat. She worked with our budget and found budget-friendly solutions that still looked high-end and luxurious. If you're thinking about hiring Unforgettable Events for a special event, just DO IT. You won't regret it. They're truly amazing, and your event really will be unforgettable.

Horrible experience, stay away!…read more This is a review for Eliza at BEL Events for her wedding planning services. We met Eliza at our venue 8 month before our wedding date. During the first session she presented herself well, and she talked and bragged a lot about her 18 yrs of experience in event planning and stories about how she handles wedding situations. So, we thought she is the right event planner for us and signed a contract. After signing the contract and making the payment, she was very hard to find and we did not see the expected action from her side, and every time we followed up, her response was: "don't worry I will manage everything before the wedding day". We were asking for the basics of planning such as timeline, vendor recommendations (a few to choose from) and communications (which was part of the contract) but not no action except a quote of her own rental service. We were getting closer to the wedding date and her lack of action made us so worried and very frustrated. Eventually we had to get involved and did almost 90% of the work ourselves. She was very hard to find but even when we could talk to her, she would create more unnecessary problems to an extant that my wife had panic attacks after a few meetings we had with her. 2 month before our wedding she caused so much anxiety and frustration that we decided to end our contract with her and find another planner. Thankfully, our new planner was amazing and our Wedding planning went very smooth after that, and the event was as wonderful as we could imagine! With way lower cost than what Eliza had proposed! After I requested to cancel the contract she disappeared and never responded to our emails, which is very unprofessional. Here is a list of a few issues from our experience of working with here: 1- Accessibility: every time we had a question or needed to talk to her, it was taking several days until she gets back to us. With irrelevant excuses, like she would show me her busy google calendar! 2- Push to use her own services as vendors: Per her contract she had to suggest different vendors so we can choose. But since she has rental and flower services, she was arguing so much to stop us from even looking at other options! She charges unnecessarily expensive! By doing a little research, we found our vendors and saved at least 50% with same or better quality! 3- Nonsense arguments and rude attitude: In many occasions she was just insisting on holding the event the way SHE wants, without paying attention to our request or desire. Every time we requested something, her answer was: "I don't want MY event to be that way or I don't want MY guests to be that way"!!! With a condescending attitude emphasizing that "I have 18 yrs of experience and I know what to do"!!! Any simple request would become a long story and unnecessary argument. In one occasion my wife requested that guests throw flower petals while walking out of aisle, and she immediately said: "No!, you can't do that, I don't want my cleaning crew spend time on cleaning the petals"!!!! In another occasion Eliza was insisting on only using her recommended valet service (which was quoting more than double the price of the service we eventually used) and on top of it she was forcing us to rent extra parking lot out of venue and pay extra for shuttle service!!!! While the venue had enough capacity! And when I respectfully said: I am confident that the venue has enough capacity for parking, she got very angry and said: "in that case tell all your guests to use UBER and they can't drive their own car"!!! It was a nightmare working with BEL Events and I don't recommend her service due to lack of professionalism and decency in her business.

My husband and I were so lucky to work with Katie at B&B as our planner throughout this process, and she was such a blessing to have in our corner!!! To start, she provided great organizational resources that immediately made everything feel like it was manageable, with her detailed checklist really being the backbone of this entire process for us. We really looked forward to our check-ins with her because not only were they productive, but always a collaborative effort between us and her. She always made us feel heard, and when we had an idea, nothing ever seemed impossible to execute, as she helped us figure out how to make things we wanted happen. We opted for her services about a year out from our wedding day, and through every step, check point, and to-do list item, she walked us through anything we needed and always delivered when we needed her and even above and beyond. In addition to how supportive she was throughout the planning process, she also coordinated our whole wedding day flawlessly. She thinks of how things are going to be executed seamlessly and does the work of problem solving with you beforehand so that the day goes as smoothly as possible, and that it did for us. She's extremely professional and also did wonderfully at communicating with our vendors to ensure we were all on the same page. The success of our day is largely due to her being our planner, and we recommend her x100000. Thank you, Katie!!!

My experience with BeDazzle…read more I'm sharing this so others know what happened before paying in advance. My daughter paid for 50 chairs and had a specific date and time scheduled to pick them up. When she arrived, the business was closed. After I contacted them, we were told to come back because someone would be there. She drove 25 minutes back, and once again, the business was closed. She called several times but no one answered. I understand that BeDazzle's policy is that payments are non-refundable. However, because the business was closed during our scheduled pickup, the owner agreed to make an exception and refund the money. Unfortunately, we never received the refund. I'm simply sharing our experience so others can be aware and use caution when paying in advance.

Team Agape couldn't be better!…read more We hired them for our wedding in OC. Ashley was very personable and clearly explained all that their team would provide. Although I only spoke to her on the phone, I believe she runs a very organized business. Julie and Aimee were our main coordinators. Aimee was in charge of collecting vendor receipts and had a long list of local vendors to choose from. Julie was our day of coordinator. She met us initially 4 months before our date at our food tasting. About 1 month out, we had a zoom meeting outlining down to the minute schedule for the day, including names, seat reservations, and reception format. We met a third time at our rehearsal. Julie provided a basic walkthrough for the wedding party for ceremony ie who walks with who and where to stand. Finally, we met Julie and her assistants on our wedding day. They went above and beyond to ensure our day went smoothly. They kept us on schedule. Even doing things behind the scenes like holding up dress train, providing tissues for teary eyed guests, monitoring our guest book, protecting our gift box. Julie even saved us dinner, appetizers, and dessert--delivering it to our hotel room. Wedding day is so overwhelming that it was awesome the team thought of us that we could actually taste our own food and allocate time for us to sit and absorb all of the festivities. We had an unforgettable day and it would not have been as smooth or memorable without the help of Agape.

Hiring Agape was one of the best choices we made for our wedding! The Agape team was organized,…read moreresponsive and helpful from the moment we first hired them, even though we only hired them for the basic 2-month coordination package. Early in the planning process, they provided us with a number of vendor referrals, 2 of whom we ended up using and having great experiences with. One of those was our photographer (Gary with One Story Weddings) who not only took incredibly beautiful photos for us that we'll treasure for years to come but also had a HUGE positive impact on our timeline for the day. They also answered a variety of logistical questions we sent their way promptly and helpfully. Our lead coordinator was Julie, who was incredible! We first met Julie for our tasting and venue walk-through. She made a number of helpful suggestions and contributions to that meeting, and we were really excited to start working more closely with her. Things kept going up from there! She was instrumental in the execution of our event - in those critical last 2 months in coordinating with our vendor team, in preparing our timeline and in how the day itself ran. Julie answered all our questions and played a pivotal role in communicating directly with all our vendors to get all the logistics squared away. Agape had not worked with our venue or our band before, but Julie was able to forge great relationships with both of those teams and made our day run so smoothly. On the wedding day, we had some vendor delays leading up to the ceremony (these had nothing to do with Agape). Julie and her 2 assistants did a fabulous job keeping me calm, being resourceful and making sure that we kept things moving along. I knew I didn't have to worry about anything else that the Agape team was handling because they were ON IT! I also want to make a note about how wonderfully they handled setup and breakdown of personal items. They provide a comprehensive setup items checklist for couples to identify all the items to be set up and where, and Agape delivered on this to perfection. They also packed up our items, which included some fragile and sentimental items, with complete care and perfection, helping us load our items in family cars at the end of the night. We could not recommend Agape more!
