I had the pleasure of working with Zach for my wedding last month on our wine and liquor selections. He was wonderful. He and Kevin both really know their stuff. I was beyond happy with the selections (he was able to estimate how many bottles of each item we should order given our party size, and alerted us to what was not returnable so it was very transparent) and was extremely quick to get back to me on questions or anything at all. He had suggestions when we were stumped on replacements or alternatives. Afterward, he picked up the remainder bottles from the venue and tallied up our refund and it came back our way very promptly. If you are like me, you'd rather spend your money on great booze than fancy clothes, this is the place for you. And these guys really know their booze. I always get great suggestions for wine in my price range ($15-20). I also come here to find local and lesser known gin and whiskey of which they have a great selection. You get the feeling that a lot thought has been put in everything they carry by the passion in their descriptions of each item. Situated in a strip mall off Fairview Avenue, the modest exterior does not immediately suggest that this wine store would be anything out of the ordinary. In fact, I drove past it on many occasions. As a sommelier and former wine bar owner, I was thrilled to find this store. The owner Kevin, has curated a superb collection of wines and spirits. Having been in the wine business for many years, and knowing what the standard retail mark up is , his pricing is exceedingly consumer-friendly. Adding to his offering customers an additional 10% on a six bottle purchase and a 15% on twelve, well, the deal becomes even sweeter. Zach and the team at Fairview Wines & Spirits were our alcohol provider for our 220+ person wedding in Hudson, NY. What a knowledgeable and professional group they are! Working with us to perfectly pair wines with our menu as well as providing insights for our signature cocktails, Zach & Co. fully customized our bar which featured a wide variety of spirits. When we met with Zach he personally brought us through his sprawling establishment and taught us about a number of less-well-known brands that were actually higher quality and lower cost compared to the Tito's and Bullets and Makers of the world. Our end product was a unique bar which our guests really enjoyed. Additionally what set Fairview apart was their flexibilty. They delivered additional quantities of all our alcohols to our wedding, thus providing insurance if we went over our expected consumption, and then bought back all unused products AT COST. This may sound like a small feature but when you have a long list of concerns about your wedding, taking running out of alcohol off that list was extremely comforting. Our son got married 2 days ago and we purchased all of our spirits and wine from Fairview. The order was rather large (over 440 bottles, obviously mostly wine) and I started working with Zach via email about a month before the wedding. I gave him an idea of the quality that we wanted (high), and the amount of guests (it was a 2-day affair with a BBQ night on Friday and a reception on Saturday. Zach was simply outstanding. He answered all the emails, had incredible patience, and we ended up with an amazing list of wines and spirits which were delivered exactly as requested. The most amazing thing for any wedding is a buyback policy which they have and they honored without blinking at all. The only advice that I suggest anyone planning a wedding party do, is to make sure that the bartenders NOT open more bottles than are necessary (we had at least 24 open full bottles of wine which we obviously couldn't return). Of course, this has nothing to do with Fairview. I cannot but give them a GLOWING recommendation. Thank you very much Zach and Kevin for taking care of us. read more

I am a local resident and have tried this store many times. They do not cater to the average person looking for a nice bottle of wine without breaking the bank. everything they offer is high end.
