Its also great because it has everyday medicines and health products which you may need from, shampoo, to asprin, and baby items. The staff are very talkative and very welcoming.

Eldon square boots can get very congested but that's because you can now get pretty much anything all in one location. Always good offers to be had and those Boots loyalty points soon rack up if you regularly buy your essentials here. The staff can be slightly hit and miss if like me you need help picking a hair dye due to the sudden spurt of grey hairs! Then again you can't expect staff to be knowledgeable about all products as there are just too many. It's worth noting that you can get your prescriptions sent directly from your GP to the pharmacy and there is even a doctors surgery downstairs for those living in the city centre.

Apart from being able to have your prescription filled here,they also have an assortment of the usual goods you find in Chemists.You know the kind of stuff cosmetics,babystuff cleaning products and also over the counter medicines. There's always a chair if you need a sit down while waiting but I have to admit I've never had to wait long. Staff are very helpful and friendly which is a bonus.

They can collect your repeat prescription from fowdon surgery and ready for collection at the pharmacy or delivered for free can be go to your door if required. This place just not pharmacy they sell lot of this items from cosmetic, food and many many more. It not bigger place so if you need specific medicine (my experience, I need medicine for my baby under a month) they can not do it in the same day but they can try to find or make it up to 3 days. Not a big deal if you need emergency specific medicine but it is good place to get your normal medicine on there.

This branch is a similar size to the branch Superdrug have in Newcastle city centre, both of which I'd say are larger than average in terms of the company standards. There was a decent selection of drinks, much improved to other branches including Newcastle city centre which included Starbucks iced bottled beverages, lipton iced teas and Oasis drinks, on the 2 for £2 promotion, which considering the Starbucks drinks are £2 - £2.15 each, that's an impressive saving to get two for £2. They even have three flavours: Vanilla, Coffee (sadly those are now hard to get hold of) and mocha. The store was really busy, the staff working seemed rushed, mainly behind the tills, they didn't go out onto the shop floor and enage, the queuing system was actually handled quite well and I was served fast, especially for how big the queue was. The range for everything else in the store was okay, however I feel this store deserves at least a three star rating mainly down to the drink selection and price, making it one of the better price to get bottled drinks in the Metrocentre, and also how the queuing system was handelled and the fact the signal in the store was good, hence I was able to load up my loyalty card and discount card via mobile data made my shopping experience easier to warrant a medium level three star rating.
