The Best Coffee Shop Around--Hands Down!…read more We've been coming to Nervous Dog for years, and it's still our absolute favorite coffee shop in the area. There's a reason it was voted Best Coffee in the Beacon Journal's Best of the Best--they truly know what they're doing when it comes to coffee. The quality is unmatched. Whether it's a latte, cold brew, or just a perfectly brewed cup of coffee, every drink is made with care. You can tell they use fresh, high-quality beans, and everything always tastes smooth and rich--never burnt or bitter. Beyond the coffee, the atmosphere is what keeps us coming back. It's warm, inviting, and just the perfect spot to relax, get some work done, or catch up with friends. The baristas are friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. Nervous Dog isn't just a coffee shop--it's a staple in the community. We love that they support local businesses and give back to the area. There's something special about a place that not only serves great coffee but also makes you feel like part of the family. If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out. This is, without a doubt, the best coffee shop around!

I got the iced black and white latte and asked them to add a pump of pumpkin for a little extra flavor. It was okay, but nothing too special. I also tried the iced caramel macchiato, which was pretty good! The bagels were delicious, too. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, which made the experience even better. My only complaint is that the place could use some dusting, especially around the tables and the areas underneath them where people sit and eat. Overall, a nice spot for coffee and breakfast. I'd be open to coming back and trying something else on the menu!

Delicious pies, breads, and cookies!…read more *The cakes are hands down a family favorite* Also, they serve lunch! Great chicken salad on a croissant. Also, yummy tuna and egg salad. There are a few small tables if you want to eat there. Just note, no bathrooms.

I got in there about 30 minutes before closing so they were pretty cleared out of stuff and they mentioned how they stop serving lunch/sandwhiches 30 minutes before closing so just a heads up on that. The service was great and the two ladies behind the counter were friendly and helpful. It appeared that some of their refrigerated items may be bought for sale and not baked in house but all their baked goods in that case were made by them and had a large selection of baked goods from breads, biscotti, bars, tarts, cakes, and more. it also looks like they offer made to order/custom cakes so that is pretty cool! Although not pictured, we tried several macarons and they had a subtle flavor, nothing overpowering which was nice. We also tried their mini tarts in lemon and cherry, as well as their apple crumble in phyllo dough. This was interesting and I have never seen it wrapped in phyllo dough. We also tried the carrot cake which after unpacking it, I do not believe it was made in house as it was part of the other refrigerated goods. Everything was light and pretty tasty. I would give this place a try if you are in the area as it has a lot of charm and variety of goods so I am sure you can find something you will enjoy!

It feels weird to review this location separately from the B&N it's inside of, but I can give it…read moreit's five minutes of fame. They seem to have practically everything a standalone Starby's would have, with the exception of excess knickknacks like those locally themed mugs that people collect. There's the usual: coffee and tea, hot and cold. Frappuccinos and the myriad other, mostly sugar-loaded, concoctions they conjure up here. I'm more a tea snob myself and I'm content with their selection there. Food wise, they have all the sweets as usual, including some wrapped/sealed and gluten-free, if you need. I like the hot food items in a pinch. The quiche or a spinach and feta wrap make you feel better about 32 oz of caffeinated sugar water. The sitting area itself is spacious with plenty of tables for two or four. However, it's dated and dirty. It could probably use a good facelift. New paint, floors, and furniture. The mural of authors is a neat touch though. Find me here once a week writing or reading. (Shh, don't tell anyone my e-reader's not a Nook.)

Truth, this is the loudest Starbucks store I have visited. And trying to perform work here or even concentrate, was truly a challenge because of the acoustics. They need some rugs on the floor to offset the deafening sound of voices and their coffee machines. The Baristas seem friendly in the DriveThru. But the ambiance inside needs an overhaul. When I left my power cord behind one day, and went back to retrieve it, the manager in this store was blatantly rude. During a recipe evaluation, I had a Pink Drink that was off, just awfully sweet. In the past months, I have had some colder drinks that were supposed to be hot. The food ordered was cold. The drive thru is the only option for me because of the deafening sound inside and the rude Manager. Starbucks was always a friendly place. But now, not so much. Where are the District Managers who need to spot check their stores for friendly customer service?
