What: Fairfield level hotel. There was a weird smell in the room like damp or musty but it went away with the aircon. Service: we are titanium level so the check in lady upgraded our room to a room that had a living room area with a large couch. Location: next to the freeway. Cracker Barrel is a few steps away but we didn't have time to get breakfast as they open at 7am. Starbucks is down the street with a drive thru. We stayed in Yuma to look at an RV camper and would stay here again if needed. read more

5 -Star Staff !!! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Mercedes at front desk went above & beyond by loaning us her charging plug so we did not have to go out & buy one. Our stay was stress-free and comfortable, hotel is older but very well maintained. Plenty of parking, walked in to a clean and fresh smelling lobby. Easy check-in, good smelling elevator (always a plus), room was super clean, even my picky wife was pleased. Breakfast was what we have come to expect, hot food available with options. The hostess was super friendly, and checked on us several times. Hotel is near everything from the downtown area to outdoor mall with lots of shopping & restaurants options. If we ever visit Yuma again, we would definitely stay here again. read more

Good, clean and great layout of the room at this Fairfield. Location is next to 10 other hotels but in the middle of everything you need. Mall is close. No pets. Fridge and microwave in the room. Loved the shower design with the high and low shelves and very modern. Coffee was fresh at 5am when I got it. Cons for me was the doors and walls were thin. I'm an early bird but starting at 5:30am it is loud all around you. I would stay here again. read more

Good basic Marriott based hotel with ample parking & amenities. Rooms are quiet, clean and well furnished (I had a comfortable king bed, shower, minifridge & small microwave.) wifi is good, and speed is decent. The work desk is small, but adequate. There was also a fold out sofa bed. Morning breakfast is good, with eggs, sausage, waffle maker, and assorted fruits, and drinks. The mini-store is pretty basic, but there is a shopping mall within walking distance. No airport shuttle that I could see. read more

We found this hotel at a reasonable price for the Memorial Day weekend during this COVID-19 pandemic. When we checked in we went to our room and it was not cleaned, actually we thought someone was sleeping in our bed - LOL. We were given another room which was a handicapped room and it was fine. I love Marriott properties and try to stay exclusively due to generally having a very positive experience. This property was unfortunately a very big NO. The hotel is undergoing renovations, which is completely understandable, except the water was shut off on the entire third floor and I was unable to wash my hands or take a shower. After a 10+ hour day in the field, that was not going to cut it. In addition, at $139 for a federal rate, the room was $45 over the federal per diem (and for what?!). I also have to add that the rooms on the southwest end of the property are insanely loud due to their proximity to the highway. If you're a light sleeper I recommend requesting a room away from this side of the property. Overall, I recommend skipping this one until renovations are completed later in 2020. read more

This hotel is great! The rooms are really nice, and it's close to a lot of restaurants that you can walk to. The service is good, unless the really attractive lady is at the desk, and then it's not bad, it's just hard to get her attention because all the soldiers are rapping with her :-) But she was nice, and helped me purchase my drink, and then continued with the conversation with the soldier (but she wasn't mean ... nice lady) A lot of people walk around there without a mask which is a little annoying, but I think the staff wore theirs. read more

Two words. Bed Bugs. Unfortunately, this is the lasting impression I have of my stay here. Ended up sleeping over all my sheets on the other two nights to avoid any other contact to the critters. Everything else about this place was great. The room was tidied up everyday. Staff at the reception was friendly and greeted us every morning. As I walked out the back, the lady cleaning the pool struck up a nice conversation and even in the Yuma heat, the room stayed a cool 72 degrees. The staff at this place was amazing. Jason, Elijah, and everyone so accommodating and caring, especially during a very stressful and challenging time. We were in Yuma for a medical treatment for my husband who had to be hospitalized while there. Jason called the ambulance for me and arranged for their maintenance gal to shuttle me to the airport. I ended up having to come right back to the hotel and check back in as I wasn't allowed to stay at the hospital with my husband. They couldn't have been more helpful and embracing. Thanks to them for the kindness. The rooms were fine, clean, and breakfast items were just fine. We ended up driving back across country staying mostly at Fairfield Inns on the way home over the course of a week. This property was our fave. read more

I made a reservation to stay one night here. I am a Hilton Diamond member but thought I would try this out for a change. After a long day of travel and work, I finally went to check in only to be told that I didn't have a room. "I'm sorry, we over booked so you don't actually have a room. But DONT WORRY! Because of the inconvenience, we will pay for your stay at the Days Inn." First off. Why would they wait to tell me I didn't have a room until I showed up at the end of the day? Secondly, they Days Inn? Really? Talk about a difference in hotels! No thank you. I will NEVER, EVER, stay at this not any other Marriott property again. I can assure you that I have NEVER experienced this with a Hilton. Could you imagine showing up thinking you had a room and showing a confirmation number to be told you don't? Awful... read more

I stayed here for business last week and was very pleased. The staff was always nice and very friendly. Every time I walked in I was greeted with a smile. I stayed for 3 nights and was treated like family. The beds were pretty comfortable, and they had firmer pillows than just feather (points in my book). The internet was a bit slow, but from what I can tell, that is true for all of Yuma, not just this hotel. Despite being next to the freeway and on the ground floor, I did not have any freeway noise. The hotel is located within walking distance to numerous restaurants including The Cracker Barrel across the street. I highly recommend this place for anyone making a short visit to Yuma (less than a week), their rates are very reasonable and you get a lot of bang for your buck. read more

Stayed here for several days a few months ago. Great hotel! Front desk was very pleasant and responsive. Breakfast is complimentary and pretty standard with all the typical breakfast foods. Inside was well decorated and clean. Convenient location right off rt 8. Close to lots of foods..across the street from cracker barrel. A mall nearby. In & Out and lots more. Gas stations nearby. Off in a corner, so there isn't too much traffic. Plenty of parking. Food trucks at night within walking distance as well. Great service, great amenities and great location. read more

We stayed here for only one night but the ladies at the front desk were very helpful. The rooms are a good size and come with both a mini fridge (not jam-packed with junk they're trying to make you buy, so you can actually use it) plus a microwave. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The downstairs area is available for a free breakfast in the morning that hosted scrambled eggs, sausage, muffins, fruit, and a waffle iron. There is a dispenser containing waffle batter that you pour into the waffle iron that dispenses perfectly golden waffles in 2 1/2 minutes. Thanks for making our stay comfortable! read more

I was pretty pleased with my overall experience here with my husband and two children the other night. Our room was on the first floor (where little ones who like to run and jump should be :/) clean, newly renovated room with a 2 double standard beds. It actually felt and looked and smelled clean! The bed and bedding was oh so comfortable. It had everything I could ask for. Blow dryer. PAUL MITCHELL shampoo and conditioner. Lol. An iron with a board. Plenty of towels. A coffee maker with plenty of coffee. A fridge and our TV even had Netflix which I didn't even have to pay for since I have my own account! I thought that was neat :) especially for my always bored 8 year old. In the morning we had an awesome continental breakfast. Fruit. Yogurt. Waffles. Cereal. Bagels. Coffee cake. Eggs. Sausage. Bacon. Salsa too! It was actually pretty good and I was happy with it all! The customer service was very pleasant. I felt like since moving to AZ I've been around some of the most rude and inconsiderate people In customer service history but Yuma gave me a breath of fresh air. The front desk to the workers in the kitchen and laundry room were all very friendly and helpful. The only reason why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the exaggerated prices at their tiny little mart in the front lobby. Lol. I guess it's not too bad if you don't mind spending a little extra for a cup of noodles. But Knowing I get them at the market for a quarter wouldn't allow me to buy them for 8X more than that lol I did purchase $3 Oreos and a $3 apple juice tho. So... We were passing through Yuma for the night and used some Marriott points to stay here. It ended up being a really pleasant experience! The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. The pool/jacuzzi area was great; I loved doing some night swimming! We also used the fitness room the following day, which was clean and functional. (I used a treadmill, my husband used an elliptical.) They also had a free breakfast in the morning and it was quite good for a free breakfast! No complaints about this place, and if I were passing through again, I'd go back. read more

Perfect for a stopping off place, to and from Tucson, Az to CA. Clean, Clean, and even more Clean. Room is perfect as previous pictures posted. GYM remains in great shape. Pool is small but serves the purpose. As usual Marriot provides great service. Can't wait to use my one night a year at the Star Pass in Tucson, AZ. Happy Dance always when I stay with at a Marriot. I've stayed here twice with my hunny and I just love it here. Its always been sooooo clean. It smells feash and clean. The staff has always been amazing and understanding because we don't use plastic to pay. The beds are so comfortable and the bathrooms and towels are awesome. They have big descent size towles for those of us who are well rounded people. Lol. The pool are is nice and clean and the breakfast is great. I've stayed here about 4 times in the last 2 years and we always try to stop here at least once a year. read more
