I have stayed at a large variety of hotels during my 36 year career, so I have seen quite a few good, not-so-good, and horrible hotel. I was staying here for work and we were here for over 3 weeks. So, my review is based on a long term stay. I waited until the last few days of my stay to leave this review. That way, my review wasn't affected by one off days by the employees or slip ups that can happen at off times. Firstly, the hotel is clean and the overall look of the hotel is solid. The gripes that I have are easily fixable, and not too many. Whoever decided the fixtures and shower curtains in my bathroom must have never turned on the shower to make sure that all was good. The curtain was not wide enough and separates from each end about 8 inches and that adds to the next problem. Besides the fact that you have to decide which end will get the most water escaping while showering, the shower head did not spray down into the tub; splashing the back wall, even on it's absolute lowest angle that the shower piping would allow. So, the water always splashed the back wall on the tub's topside. So, being resourceful and always traveling with tools. I changed the head to one that I purchased at a nearby hardware store. That one had a larger range of adjusting, that allowed it to actually aim into the tub, but not as nice or large pattern. With that fixed, I tried the free breakfast buffet as soon as it was opened. Pretty basic stuff, not bad and the hot items vary a little from time to time. Downside; they can't keep up with the guests and their needs. The noticeable response to any inquiry about more hot items, or if something (like coffee) needed refilling, was about how few people are working that day. I have heard that said throughout my over 3 weeks stay to many guests when they spoke to the breakfast area staff. Not a response like, "thank you for letting us know" or " we have some coming right out", but a response as to them being understaffed for the basic needs and upkeep of the breakfast area. I would frown upon actively sharing workforce woes to the guests of the hotel, who don't need to hear that or some who don't care. I just heard the short staffed response when someone pointed out (quite pleasantly) that both of the coffee dispensers were empty. And the guest said, " I just thought that you might like to know that". Now, their breakfast area can be a bit of a madhouse that I have whispered "Nope" and left to have breakfast somewhere else, so I sympathize with the overworked breakfast staff, but a cheerful disposition goes a long way. The hotel was located in a beautiful area outside of the Zion Park and had many amenities that I didn't have the chance to enjoy, so my review is based on the day by day needs and the challenges that I had with them. I would stay at this hotel again, for sure. The issues that I had aren't deal breakers and the front desk staff was great and the hotel felt homely and that's really what matters in a stay; short or long. read more

This hotel is within 20 minutes' driving distance of Zion. It was a good basic option. It ended up being $250 a night, which was still more affordable than surrounding options as it is so close to the national park. The rooms were clean, but the room had a woeful lack of furniture. There was one king bed and no side chairs, with only one table. The room felt large and empty. We ended up moving the dirty and dusty furniture from the balcony inside so that we could put our stuff on it. The continental breakfast was pretty good. They kept running out of hot items, but they were refilled after a pause. I like how they have three waffle machines. They have an unheated pool and a hot tub with a good view of the landscape. read more

The Fairfield Inn & Suites is a fairly large and sprawling hotel which works fine when the weather was good (which was for most of our stay) but you do have to walk between buildings to get to the lobby, breakfast and the fitness center (if you aren't in the main building). The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, so you have to drive a decent distance for food. The front desk provided great advice about arriving at Zion. We thought we could arrive around 7:45a, and the front desk suggested we arrive at 6:45a. We thought that was crazy, but it was surprisingly busy heading into gates just before 7a (and we did get a parking space in the park). The rooms are smaller than most other rooms at other Fairifled Inn & Suites; many have separate seating areas and this was just one room with no additional seating (besides one small chair in the corner). The fitness center was quite big with a lot of dead/empty space, and it's also the only place to refill your water bottle (and it's also quite slow). The breakfast area is quite large but it got packed. This hotel doesn't mix it up, so it was all of the same breakfast foods everyday. Small nit but there was no moisturizer provided. read more

Departing from the OC area and arriving at the hotel at 8 p.m. / I booked a room with a balcony to see the outside, although it was a bit expensive. I requested the 2nd floor instead of the 1st floor. Then I asked what it was like on other days, and they said no without even looking. The attitude of the hotel staff is clearly a problem. The funny thing is... there were hardly any cars in the parking lot at that time. The only advantage is that it is relatively cheaper than the surrounding areas.. It was hard to find because there were no hotel signs in the dark night. For those going to Zion, Springdale is the most convenient.I couldn't sleep at night because of the noise from the next room. The hotel's soundproofing was bad. You're saying that you're late for an arrival before 8pm?? Then you have to go to your hotel room without eating?? Can you eat or have a drink in the hotel at night?? Are you saying that you have to stay locked in your room while traveling??? A hotel is a place to spend money on eating, drinking, and having fun. If you just want to sleep, there are many cheaper and more convenient places. I don't recommend this place.. read more

This was a great hotel that's only about 15min outside of Zion Nat'l Park. Prices were reasonable (esp compared to Springdale), rooms were spacious (we had the king suite), parking was ample and free, and they had good amenities (free breakfast, pool and spa). Walls were a little thin and the mattress wasn't as supportive as we usually like, but we all managed to get a great night sleep after a long day at the park. Would definitely stay here again for our next trip! read more

The stay was great at this hotel because of the location surrounding it, and the hotel is fairly new by the design of it. The rooms were well taken care of ever since we came on the first day, plus the AC was working very well whenever it gets warm very bad. Also the Most important thing is that it's convenient to everything around it like the Zion national park close to where Springdale is located even the Restaurants too. Also, the Hotel itself had a pool that's very clean and heated, and it even had water park feel to it because of how big it is compared to other hotels I stayed at. read more

I recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Virgin Zion National Park as a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum member (which means I am allowed up to a late checkout of up to 4 PM based on availability). I requested a 3 PM checkout prior to checkout, which was verbally confirmed and electronically documented on my account (see picture). However, at 11 AM on my checkout day, I received an angry call from Chris at the front desk demanding I vacate the room immediately, claiming I had overstayed my checkout time. Despite referencing an already granted late checkout, Chris insisted he needed the room for another guest, leaving me to scramble and pack my belongings in just 30 minutes. This lack of communication, and disregard for a previously confirmed late check out is unacceptable. I do not recommend staying here.... read more

WARNING BELLS I was there from March 30, 2026 to April 02, 2026 (Monday to Thursday). On Wednesday morning, I noticed the door to room 307 was not completely close. I walked to the front desk to tell them what I noticed. A gentleman behind the counter advised me that the cleaning lady did that and most likely was inside the room cleaning it. To me, that was a bit odd since I did not see the cleaning person's push cart. On Thursday (My check out day) I went to have breakfast in the hotel. When I returned to my room, I noticed that my door was not completely close. This really pissed me off since I closed it. Which means, someone most likely a hotel employee was in my room. I entered my room to check my stuff. It all APPEARED to be in the room. I also noticed that the door was not closing because a lock that is on the door had been activated. I could not push that lock back. I then asked one of my sons that were in room 305 to go in my room while I speak to the front desk. I approached a female employee and asked her, "What time is check-out time?" She said it was at 11:00AM (The typical Check-out time). I then stated "Then why does my door have a lock that prevents the door to fully close. The gentleman that I had talked to about the same issue in room 307 stated that the cleaning person did that. My response was, "Why would this person do that when ALL MY STUFF IS INSIDE THE ROOM? Someone could go inside and steal my stuff." All I got was a shrugged shoulder from him while at the same time the female stating that I have to put the interior handle of the door in the down position to deactivate that lock. Fast forward to Saturday when I unpacked my suitcase. I noticed that I was missing a $40 button shirt. I did leave it in the closet. That is a fact. My mistake. I quickly called the hotel and spoke with Abery. I explained to her what had happened. I attempted to describe my shirt but before I can fully describe it, she said, "I will check lost and found, ill be right back." I started screaming, "WAIT... WAIT!" Abery returned to tell me it was not there. So I asked Abery, "Did I describe the shirt to you?" She said, "I think you said it was purple?" I said, "The shirt is purple and black, its a Hawaiian type of firt that has these spider looking things that are called facehuggers from the movie ALIEN. Abery stated, "Ah, I think I saw that back there, ill be right back." She returned to tell me that it was not there. This is after she said that she might have seen it in their lost and found. Yesterday, I spoke to the General Manager by the name of Erin. I explained to him everything I mentioned on this post. He told me that he would look everywhere for that shirt. I think he got a bit upset when I told him that my shirt was stolen by one of his employees. To this day, Erin (The General Manager) has not called me. In closing, an employee at the hotel stole my shirt OR it was stolen when my door was left open when the cleaning person walked in my room while I was having breakfast. read more

on booking.com it says 18 to check in and we call to confirm the front desk says 21. Obviously this affects our entire trip. We ask to speak to a manager and when connected he asks what hotel we've booked with we stated it was this hotel and he hung up in our face. All of the calls we have continued to make they keep hanging up on us. Over 5 times!! Over $200 for people who can't even answer questions so we know how to move forward. Absolutely ridiculous. I've stayed at this Fairfield several times and have had nothing but great experiences. The staff are always friendly and the rooms have been very clean. It's a very large hotel, so the only downside is that sometimes you have to park a bit far from your room because of the layout. They have a good breakfast selection in the mornings. Also, the location is perfect if you're visiting Zion. The drive is only about 30 minutes to the visitor's center. I definitely recommend staying here! read more

Crazy night... we get our room key... brought all our stuff in from our SUV.... Leave and go to Zion national park...afterwards we Stop and have some dinner...Get back to our room... Start to unpack and my sister decides to go get a candy bar at the front desk... the handle on the front door will not open... it goes around and around.... Not good.... we call the front desk and they're like "What do you mean you can't get out of your room". I'm like come and take a look... so they did...Ends up the front desk person gets locked in with us, because she closed the door to look at the handle. Stayed here one night for a stop at Zion National Park. Unlike the negative reviews, our experience was excellent!! From the moment we checked in, the front desk clerk was courteous. Our room was cool, and fresh smelling ( outside temp was 102 degrees!!) Our room was spacious, equipped with 2 king size bed, comfortable for our family. Everything in the room was clean and new, from carpet to the bathroom wall. The hotel is about 20 minutes drive to Zion National Park and about 10 minutes to restaurants. Good location- only about 20 minutes from Zion and as a modern facility, it offers amenities that aren't found in the BnBs next to Zion. When other family members camped at Zion, we gladly stayed here and enjoyed the daily breakfasts, inviting pool, and well-appointed rooms. This is a great place for small groups and families and for those who do want a more quiet respite from the hoards of people at the Park. Very clean, good service, and fairly quiet. read more

I've read some of the negative reviews but I'm glad to report we did not have that experience at all. From check-in to check-out we were treated amazingly! The check in especially, I wish i knew her name because she was great! Answered all my questions and was so friendly. When we checked out we left a bag there so it wouldn't sit in the hot car all day at Zion and that was all so easy. Almost 5 stars.. a 4.8 if that's possible... This hotel is a bit of a drive towards Zion just outside Hurricane.. at night it's a bit sketchy to get here because of the blind corners and hills, but once here the main entrance is on the other side middle. Surrounded by a huge parking lot... The lobby looks brand new, decor is awesome, the breakfast is awesome, the rooms are perfect sized for your accommodation and size of people sleeping, the showers are nice with the shower heads with different selections, The beds are low but at a height where you can stand with ease, big TV, I'd say 55-65", cute decor in each room, spacious hallways with ice centralized. And they have a small convenience market for snack/ drinks fair pricing. The pool is awesome!!! Just like the pictures show, after a hike in the red clay.. a quick rinse in the shower and into the warm pool to chill!! I'd say of all the hotels in the area!! By far this is the hidden gem so far.. I went through kayak to find my rate last min and got a King size bed for $80.. Expedia was asking $115 while Marriott with being a rewards member had me at $130.... The only difference being I don't get points towards Marriott, but saving $50 vs say 250 points I may lose in 4 months... I'll take the cheapest route. The only negative comment I have and it's not a big deal.. but depending on the person, if you share a bed, the side with the nightstand w/drawer.. there's no plug or usb outlet to run your phone charger, the closest one is on the wall 5' away and it will be on the ground, but the other side of the bed with a nightstand no drawer has an outlet to plug in your USB plug.. if it had that minor fix!! It would be 5 stars.. but no plug is like not sticking the landing... When I come back again will be staying here every time or unless I find something better, but highly unlikely... I passed by this place a few times on the way to Springdale and often wondered what it'd be like to stay in this remote Virgin UT location. Well I decided to give it a try because I thought it would be perfect for some quiet R&R plus its still a very new hotel. Check-in was fairly easy and no issues to report. All necessary info was given to me very promptly. I booked a king room because those type of rooms have balconies. Upon entering the room it looked very modern and comfortable. The carpet was a very inviting blue color and they seemed to make very good use of small spaces. The bathroom also looked very modern and clean. There does however, seem to be an issue with small details... there are three things I noticed immediately during my stay. #1- They must not have checked the balcony because there was someone's old food bowl sitting on a table on the balcony. #2- there were several spots or stains on the ceiling in one place like someone shook up a 2 liter bottle of soda and opened it. With it being a brand new hotel if they had wiped it off it would have looked great. #3- the shampoo dispenser in the shower was empty. These are the only three semi negative things I have to say about the whole experience. The pool was very nice, it was large and had a nice little overhead waterfall decoration. I enjoyed sitting in the hot tub as well while overlooking the beautiful surroundings. Behind the hotel there is a walk way that leads up to a bridge where you can see the Virgin River. At night this hotel is very peaceful and quiet ....after a certain hour there isnt even any traffic on the road. In the morning they still do provide breakfast but it's in a box you can bring back to your room I like this hotel is very secluded and it was very relaxing. But here's a note for all you newbies that don't know the area, there's no delivery to this hotel whatsoever including ubereats ...you have to go get your own food from 10 Miles in either direction. Just to clarify the "manager" asked that we vacate the room to another room. Corporate office indicated via email that they would investigate and responded back. They never did despite follow up emails to them from me. I consider this misleading and cowardly of them. I contacted the Utah State Dept of Consumer Protection who stated this was outside their jurisdiction and recommended I contact BBB. read more

I spent one night here in February 2021. On check out I was greeted by three housekeeping personnel, none wearing face masks. One was cleaning rooms. One was cleaning the hall. And one was cleaning the elevator. Two of them had the face masks hanging on one, the man cleaning the elevator, had no face mask at all. Marriott, on a national level, is failing to keep customers safe. This is not the first Marriott I have encountered in the last few months with housekeeping staff and front desk staff not properly wearing masks or not wearing masks at all. But this is the first where 100% of the housekeeping staff was not following covid-19 safety precautions. read more

Had a gorgeous view from the balcony of my room, too! If you're visiting Zion or the surrounding area, this is a great, easy, clean spot to setup "camp"! read more

I was traveling to Zion National Park and was staying there for one night, and when I looked online Fairfield Inn was giving the best rate and the reviews looked decent. I have stayed at Fairfield Inn before and generally they were decent but I never really had high expectations; but my last stay in Houston at the Fairfield Inn exceeded my expectations. The hotel is actually located in Virgin, Utah which did not seem that far from the park on Google Maps but when driving it did take about 15-20 minutes (depending on traffic). The location is beautiful as its surrounded by nature and a background of mountains. All of the hotels in the area have the same general look, which is nice because it makes it uniform and also does not impeded the nature scenery. As you enter the lobby, the check-in desks are to the right while straight ahead is the kitchen and dining area. There are hallways to the left and right that lead to the guest rooms as well as other amenities, and there are entrances on either hallway and in the middle of each hallway to the rooms. The check-in process was not that great - the barely college-age workers did not have any customer service skills at all and their uniform also looked unkempt so it was not a great representation of neither the hotel nor the brand. From the outside and inside, the hotel looked modern and updated so I received my key, a paper to the amenities available, and made my way to the room. The room itself was an updated version of the standard Fairfield Room. As you opened the door, on the leftside was the bathroom while straight ahead was the main part of the room. The bathroom had the sink on the left-side and a long counter that connected to the half-wall which provided some privacy to the toilet. There was a walk-in shower on the right-side and hooks for towels/clothes next to the shower; the shower contained Paul Mitchell refillable shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Usually there is a closet across from the bathroom but this time there was an open/updated closet between the closet and the room. Half of the closet was open and provided more space to the room while other parts were closed to allow privacy; and part of the closet was connected to a storage area on which you could place your luggage. The new design to the closet looked nice and updated and still kept the amenities of an iron, ironing board, a safe, a fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker + coffee. Further into the room, there was a king-size bed on left side of the room with a nightstand on either side. Across from the bed was a large desk with a chair, and above the desk was the TV mounted on the wall. Right next to the desk was a stand with a luggage place on top and drawers on the bottom. The room provided a lot of amenities for the guests to enjoy, it was spacious, the bed was large and comfortable to sleep in, there were plenty of outlets spread across the room and next to the bed, and overall it was a nice and comfortable room. Fairfield Inn has some standard amenities at all its hotels including complimentary parking, complimentary wifi, complimentary breakfast, and a fitness center. The fitness center was open despite the pandemic, but there were signs asking everyone to keep safe and were a mask; the fitness center was big, had lots of updated equipment and had a water station. The parking was vast and you could park next to a variety of entrances; the wifi was complimentary and fast enough to stream videos and check email. Fairfield was still providing complimentary breakfast, but you stood in line to select from the limited menu and then you took the items back to your room to eat. You could choose cereal, bagel, muffin, and/or fruit as well as coffee and/or juice and there were toasters and cream/sugar on the side for guests to partake it. While it was not a vast selection, I am glad that Fairfield was still able to provide this service to guests. Overall, it was another pleasant stay at Fairfield Inn. They seem to be upgrading and updating their hotels and the renovations seems to be improving the experience. This hotel was updated; the rooms were nice and spacious; there were plenty of amenities for guests to enjoy; and the hotel was spread out so you could practice social distancing. The hotel did have plenty of signs asking guests were masks and there were plenty of entrances that you could utilize. The only negative was that it was a longer drive than expected to Zion (but you also avoid traffic) and the check-in experience was not great; but other than that it was a great trip. read more

Great stay! Decided to drive up to Zion for a night of star gazing. I'm so happy I choose this location for my trip. From the moment we pulled up, (the grounds were kept in immaculate condition) to the check in process, (there was a short line which gave me the ability to watch good customer service in action with the guest before me...as I was waiting another associate walked up to start the process. His customer service was beyond stellar and I walked away impressed with both employees behind the counter) Upon entering the room I was thrilled to find the room modern, comfortable, and very clean. Returning to the front desk to inquire about food options, the same friendly guy that checked me in was super helpful in providing recommendations for local restaurants based on what we wanted to eat and star gazing locations off the beaten path. The entire staff was just as friendly and helpful and to find out Daniel was actually the general manager was the cherry on top of a great stay! There was a slight issue the next morning and he was on top of it quickly and apologetically. I can't enough good things about this hotel and staff! read more

We had an event in St. George to attend with our daughter where a lot of high schools were in attendance. It was tough to get a hotel, so we booked the Fairfield Marriott in Virgin, Utah. It is near Zions National Park, so it has a great location. We liked the facilities. The breakfast was good, and the facilities were nice. I didn't have any complaints until we got a pet cleaning bill of $75.00. We didn't have any pets with us. However, I have severe arthritis and took my extra padding with me so I could sleep. My arthritis is severe enough that I have to take this extra padding everywhere we travel. We had just been to Los Angeles the weekend before with the same bedding. I trust Marriott hotels to not have bed bugs, so I haven't worried about my bedding. We also spent a lot of time travelling this summer. With the same bedding. We do have pets at home, but we have never had any complaints about cleanliness. Same bedding. Multiple Marriott stays. No complaints. We somehow got charged a pet cleaning deposit by the Virgin Fairfield Marriott. I really don't care what their excuse was or how many pet hairs they supposedly found, if they were cleaning their bedding like every other Marriott we have been in, they would have thrown the bedding in the washer and dryer without any problems. We do have an English Mastiff and a Husky. Same dogs. Same bedding. Multiple hotel stays. No complaints. How is it that the Fairfield Marriott in Virgin was the ONLY hotel in years to charge us a pet cleaning fee?? That means they have no plans to wash their bedding unless someone happens to leave some kind of pet hair behind. So we were charged $75.00 when we didn't have a pet with us. Maybe your maids should do their jobs and vacuum the floors and wash their bedding like every other normal hotel does. If we didn't bring a pet, we should not be charged pet cleaning fees, and the only reason to clean glove a room would be if you don't plan on cleaning the room in the first place. read more

Checked into the Fairfield to escape the heatwave. Thirty minutes later - no power or AC. Thirty minutes after that- no water or plumbing! It was unsanitary and unsafe in 110 degree heat. Staff and facility were rude and unprepared. Refused to refund us despite their hotel not being habitable. There are great places to stay in Zion, this just isn't one of them. read more

I had a late check in and early departure, but the experience was great. Plenty of parking for any size car, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. It was great to have a balcony/patio to enjoy the beautiful Zion skies. The hotel is just near the exit of the long road that leads to the Kolab Reservoir and not too far from Zion National Park. You may hit some traffic later in the day, but if you are trying to get in before sunrise (like me) you may be the only person on the road! The gym was more spacious than most hotels I've been to, and fairly well equipped for the size of the hotel population. I didn't get a chance to stay for breakfast or to checkout the pool area, but photos made it look nice! Just a few miles from a gas station/convenience store. Also, plenty to do in the area. I'm basing my review in comparison to other Fairfields and similar hotels. The property was very nice, even with them working to complete another wing of the hotel. The pool area was large and looked great, but we didn't take advantage since we didn't pack our swimsuits. They seem to be taking the pandemic seriously with plexiglass at the front desk, that staff masked as well as the breakfast staff. Because of current conditions they offer grab n go boxes. We were there two nights and each morning the boxes were packed with an orange, a yogurt, and a muffin. There were also cereals available and juice or coffee on your request. The lobby and breakfast area were very nice and under different conditions we would've spent more time there. The rooms were clean, nicely decorated, and included a fridge and microwave. The location of the hotel was great as it was just a short drive to the Zion entrance and directly across from Kolob Terrace road which is a nice drive up to Kolob reservoir. When we return to the Zion area, we'll likely look to stay here again. I really enjoyed my stay at this location last weekend. I was in town for the Zion Half Marathon and this hotel was conveniently located right next to the start line! The front desk workers were very friendly. They also left out complimentary water bottles in the morning for us runners. The fitness facility had a filtered water machine to easily refill reusable water bottles. The hotel was also a short 15 min drive to Springdale/Zion and a short drive to La Verkin. Great Stay! Stayed here 2 nights in August 2022 while visiting Zion. Upon check-in, clerk worked her magic to get our 2 separate reservations rooms closer together (ended up being right across the hall). She asked if we were visiting the Park, and then printed up a map and explained how the Zion shuttle system works as well as printed a list of food options near the hotel - all without us having to ask for any of that information! She also told us about (included) breakfast times and to get pool towels up front. Room and bathroom were very clean! Exactly as advertised (which isn't always the case in mid-tier priced hotels)! Free breakfast had good variety (scrambled eggs, sausage patties, bagels, english muffins, waffels, yogurt, cereal, full self-serve coffee bar, and I may have forgotten a few). Breakfast area was very clean and spacious, and the staff re-filled items that were getting low promptly. Pool was also great, there's a little wading pool with a couple water-squirting type features and the main pool was big. Both were very clean. All the staff seemed happy and ready to promptly address any concerns of myself and any other guests I noticed they had interactions with. Overall, a fantastic stay - would (and might if we do Zion again) stay here in the future! The staff should be proud of this place - their hard work shows!!! read more

This Marriott hotel does not meet the Marriott name and runs illegal and morally wrong business practices. You can read in other reviews that they do not treat members well nor do they stand by the Marriott promises of benefits to Marriott members. They do business by their own rules. Even illegal ones. They will charge you for your service animal which breaks a federal law. They are desperate and will do anything to make a dollar off of you. The management here is terrible. Read the other reviews about the management because believe me, they are 100% true. Even after confronting them of their illegal charge of my service animal, they still did not refund me and not only that but completely ignored me trying to get it worked out with them. That's how they do business. They break federal laws and will ignore you if you make any attempts to contact them about it. Stay away from this place. Management is very horrible. I overheard other guests saying that they were wrongfully accused and charged for things they didn't do. That's how terrible this place is. read more

We spent 6 nights on our family vacation out west, but only two at this hotel. I wish we had spent all six here! This place is great: everyone is very friendly and attentive, and everything is SUPER CLEAN. No matter the time of day, you'll always see someone cleaning. We had a room with two king beds (which was a treat in and of itself). After a day at Zion, we returned to the hotel to the splash pad, which my 5 year-old son loved. The breakfast area was clean and was consistently being replenished. Coffee and water all day long. There was one issue with a smoke alarm that went off three times as we were trying to put my son to bed, but after we evacuated, we were informed that there was no danger, just that the alarm had been pulled and they were having trouble resetting it. All in all, we lucked out with this hotel, and we would return for the next Zion trip. read more

We were visiting Zion National Park for the first time and decided to stay at the Fairfield Inn and Suites Virgin Zion National Park. As an international traveler who has been to hundreds of hotels, particularly Marriott hotels around the world, I have seen quite a range of accommodations and customer care. This is one of the best experiences I've had. The rooms were clean, the staff was incredibly kind and thoughtful, but one particular staff member on the night shift made our stay. We wanted to say a special thank you to Taylor who helped us when we forgot a personal phone charger and who made sure we had breakfast when we left early to hike The Narrows.
