Check in was seamless, front desk lady is very nice. Never thought there'll be a new Fairfield in this area. Hotel room is huge with two king beds, very spacious and bathroom is quite a decent size for a family of four. Room lighting is also bright. This hotel is a two-storey building but each floor has many rooms spread throughout the length of its property. Fitness room Guest Laundry - $2 each for washing and drying Pools and hot tubs

Departing from the OC area and arriving at the hotel at 8 p.m. / I booked a room with a balcony to see the outside, although it was a bit expensive. I requested the 2nd floor instead of the 1st floor. Then I asked what it was like on other days, and they said no without even looking. The attitude of the hotel staff is clearly a problem. The funny thing is... there were hardly any cars in the parking lot at that time. The only advantage is that it is relatively cheaper than the surrounding areas.. It was hard to find because there were no hotel signs in the dark night. For those going to Zion, Springdale is the most convenient.I couldn't sleep at night because of the noise from the next room. The hotel's soundproofing was bad. You're saying that you're late for an arrival before 8pm?? Then you have to go to your hotel room without eating?? Can you eat or have a drink in the hotel at night?? Are you saying that you have to stay locked in your room while traveling??? A hotel is a place to spend money on eating, drinking, and having fun. If you just want to sleep, there are many cheaper and more convenient places. I don't recommend this place..

3pm confirmed checkout reflected on my account

I recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Virgin Zion National Park as a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum member (which means I am allowed up to a late checkout of up to 4 PM based on availability). I requested a 3 PM checkout prior to checkout, which was verbally confirmed and electronically documented on my account (see picture). However, at 11 AM on my checkout day, I received an angry call from Chris at the front desk demanding I vacate the room immediately, claiming I had overstayed my checkout time. Despite referencing an already granted late checkout, Chris insisted he needed the room for another guest, leaving me to scramble and pack my belongings in just 30 minutes. This lack of communication, and disregard for a previously confirmed late check out is unacceptable. I do not recommend staying here....

    Also beautiful view during breakfast!

I stayed here during Christmas 2025, and it was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The room was very clean with a beautiful, minimal design that made me feel very comfortable, and the view was amazing. I lost one of my earrings, but when I returned two days later, housekeeping had found it while cleaning and returned it to me. Such a wonderful experience!

Crazy night... we get our room key... brought all our stuff in from our SUV.... Leave and go to Zion national park...afterwards we Stop and have some dinner...Get back to our room... Start to unpack and my sister decides to go get a candy bar at the front desk... the handle on the front door will not open... it goes around and around.... Not good.... we call the front desk and they're like "What do you mean you can't get out of your room". I'm like come and take a look... so they did...Ends up the front desk person gets locked in with us, because she closed the door to look at the handle. Eventually we get out and of course we got another room.

NO PLUG/OUTLET or USB to charge my cellphone

Almost 5 stars.. a 4.8 if that's possible... This hotel is a bit of a drive towards Zion just outside Hurricane.. at night it's a bit sketchy to get here because of the blind corners and hills, but once here the main entrance is on the other side middle. Surrounded by a huge parking lot... The lobby looks brand new, decor is awesome, the breakfast is awesome, the rooms are perfect sized for your accommodation and size of people sleeping, the showers are nice with the shower heads with different selections, The beds are low but at a height where you can stand with ease, big TV, I'd say 55-65", cute decor in each room, spacious hallways with ice centralized. And they have a small convenience market for snack/ drinks fair pricing. The pool is awesome!!! Just like the pictures show, after a hike in the red clay.. a quick rinse in the shower and into the warm pool to chill!! I'd say of all the hotels in the area!! By far this is the hidden gem so far.. I went through kayak to find my rate last min and got a King size bed for $80.. Expedia was asking $115 while Marriott with being a rewards member had me at $130.... The only difference being I don't get points towards Marriott, but saving $50 vs say 250 points I may lose in 4 months... I'll take the cheapest route. The only negative comment I have and it's not a big deal.. but depending on the person, if you share a bed, the side with the nightstand w/drawer.. there's no plug or usb outlet to run your phone charger, the closest one is on the wall 5' away and it will be on the ground, but the other side of the bed with a nightstand no drawer has an outlet to plug in your USB plug.. if it had that minor fix!! It would be 5 stars.. but no plug is like not sticking the landing... When I come back again will be staying here every time or unless I find something better, but highly unlikely... You won't regret it!!!

There are multiple comfortable spaces for families to get ready and relax before the event. The outdoor lawn for ceremonies is always pristine and very beautifully decorated. His custom arch for the ceremony backdrop is incredible. I've seen people in other reviews saying don't bring your children. Aaron is a super nice guy, but he takes care of his venue and expects parents to do their job by not letting their kids touch things they aren't supposed to or break things. Honest Review: Zion Red Rock Oasis, Villa, and Chalet (Wedding September 2024)…read more TL;DR: * Beautiful setting * Friendly staff * Overpriced for what you get * Avoid the lake after midsummer * Watch out for vendor limitations and hidden fees Overview We hosted our wedding in mid-September 2024 and rented all three Zion Red Rock properties: The Oasis, The Villa, and The Chalet. Here's what we loved and what we didn't. The Good Location & Scenery Rockville and the surrounding area are stunning. The Oasis and Villa are particularly beautiful. The Chalet is more basic but has great views from its elevated position. Amenities Tons to do on-site: pools, lake, theater, soccer field, and more. Great for entertaining guests. Staff Andrea and Devin (no longer there) were helpful leading up to the event. On-site staff was friendly and responsive. Vendors We Loved Snow Canyon Catering: Jeremy and his team were incredible. Delicious food, professional service, and great people to hang out with Desert Ice: Customized our menu and was a pleasure to work with. Silver Lining: Accommodating and kind throughout the planning process. Poppa Naps BBQ: Didn't end up using him, but he was responsive and eager to help early on. The Not-So-Great Cost vs. Value While the properties are beautiful, they don't operate at the level you'd expect for the high price point. Service is hit-or-miss, and extra fees stack up quickly. The bunkroom only had one set of overhead lights - no lamps in each bunk, so the light was either on for everyone or no one. An oversight that they said they would correct. Temperature It was hot. We moved our ceremony last minute to a shaded spot under the tree at The Oasis. If you're planning a fall wedding, check Zion temps and add 10 degrees for Rockville. Nothing the venue could have controlled, just more of an FYI. Supplies Very limited paper towels (2 rolls/kitchen) and toilet paper (4 rolls/bathroom) provided--even with 30-40 guests per house and hosting a 150 person wedding at one of the houses. We were denied extra despite the high cost of rental. Oddly, they did offer unlimited coffee. Lighting Fees We were charged $700+ for the rental, setup and teardown of overhead string lights at the Oasis (the same ones we own - but they said theirs were the "only dark sky approved ones'), even though they were already set up from a previous event. Payment went to the event manager's personal Venmo--not the venue. Lake Warning Do not swim in the lake past midsummer. It's stagnant, smells bad, and caused health issues for several guests--rashes, sore throats, congestion. My wife ended up needing a chest X-ray after swimming. Unpleasant Odor There was a faint sewage smell throughout our stay--likely from a nearby water treatment facility visible from The Chalet. Vendor Red Flags Platinum Vendors Vendors are labeled "Platinum" because they pay the venue a 10% kickback--not because they're the best. This cost is passed directly to you, and you're required to use them. Poor Communication Rheanna's Private Dining - Gave us a quote, then ghosted. God Bless PupUSAs & Crepes - Took 6 months to respond. Sushi Squad - Replied 8 months later. Venue was informed but did not update the list or help find alternatives. Electric Audio (Required DJ Vendor) This is the event manager's husband's company, the only one allowed to manage sound due to local noise ordinances. Jason (the owner) has a good rep according to google reviews, but he backed out last minute. His brother subbed in and made several mistakes, including playing music too early during the ceremony. If you're required to use them, insist that Jason be present. Final Thoughts The Zion Red Rock properties are beautiful, and our wedding was ultimately a great time, but we had to work hard to make it that way. For the price, we expected more professionalism and flexibility. If you choose this venue, read the fine print, get everything in writing, and prepare for some DIY problem-solving.

Getting to stargazer 2 was easy but possibly challenging for those with mobility challenges in regards to stairs. The jacuzzi and fire pit were so fun. Oh and the smores kit was such a nice touch as well as the welcome basket. We travel a lot and this place has it dialed in. Truly. Cold waters in the fridge upon arrival - ahhhh. So what would I add - a wellness spa for massages, on site morning yoga, sound bathing, etc.... I might add a very modern pool or one that incorporates nature. Lastly I'd recommend a type of gnat spray provided to guests. At dawn and sunset they are incredibly active. Overall this place is nothing short of incredible and its founders should be very proud of what they have created. The effort in creating Open Sky is very much noticed. Sharing nature in this way is a huge gift and this place is truly something special!

In terms of flavor and craft, the vineyard produces bold and beautiful wine flavors that I could enjoy at any time for any occasion. However, I cannot give a higher rating due to a deeply uncomfortable encounter I had with the owner, Michael. To put it bluntly, he was unprofessional, intoxicated, and even crossed physical boundaries that were inappropriate. I will politely describe him as a walking HR violation. It was unsettling to see his coworker, Patrick, having to "babysit" him with other patrons while also keeping the other wine tastings running smoothly. It's a shame that Zion Vineyards' world-class wine experience was overshadowed by the behavior of an inappropriate owner. If you choose to visit Zion Vineyards, go for the wine, but be wary of the owner if you're a female.

Just came back this week after a 3-night stay with a group--3 families, 6 adults, and 4 kids and it's been really cool to see how much it's evolved. The location is solid, about a 15-20 minute drive to Zion National Park, which made getting in and out super easy. The bungalows are a great size, clean, comfortable, and well put together. Customer service was great the entire stay. One of the highlights was the vibe at night, hanging around the fire pits while the kids made s'mores... just a really good atmosphere overall. They also offered a late checkout option for $50, which extended checkout from 11am to 2pm, super convenient when you're traveling with a group and kids. Only reason I'm not giving it 4 stars is the lack of EV chargers. I've stayed at other spots nearby that offer charging, and it makes a big difference. The closest charger being about 20 minutes away is definitely inconvenient. Outside of that, it was a great stay and we'd come back again.
