Three night stay. Ate breakfast every morning, I found the selection to be good, the food was hot and fresh. My room was very comfortable, clean, no complaints there. Overall a very clean hotel. The only thing I would change, is the exercise room is a little small.

The hotel was overall great. If you're an average guest not using the pool you'll be happy. If you're someone who wants to use the pool or hot tub during your stay, anticipate high levels of dehydration and having to leave quickly after use. There are strict rules about no drinks in the pool area... not even water. The temperature is so high just stepping in the room it will make you need a drink of water. Very disappointed that the hotel is not concerned about the safety of their guests health and restricting water drinking at the pool. The bed was very stiff and the bathroom walls were beat up and dirty. Will not return.

Marriott claims that Fairfield is one of their lower tier brands, but to be honest, this is one of the nicest Marriott affiliated hotels I've ever been to. It is way nicer than some JW Marriotts and such, which are double the price! You get free breakfast, there are tons of nice amenities like an indoor pool with hot tub / spa, there's even a barbecue grill and a fire pit in an outdoor patio that you can use. Hallways are all brightly lit, rooms and bathrooms all well appointed. All the staff, from the front desk to the cleaning people, were extremely nice and are willing to go the extra mile for you. All in all, a great hotel in the Poconos, and not too far from plenty of restaurants, indoor waterparks, shopping outlets, and the casino. Would definitely stay here again, and wholeheartedly would recommend to anyone coming to the area.

We decided to stay here overnight while we visited Bushkill Falls. I'm so glad we did .. The hotel looks like a new hotel. The lobby is so fresh and bright with plenty of seating. There is an area for internet hookup and cold water and tasty cookies. They have a small lobby store which has the essentials and snacks. The room was big and the beds comfy. The bathroom very modern and clean. Our room had a microwave, coffee machine and mini fridge. Perfect for the traveling family. The area was quiet in the evening so we had a good nights sleep. Free continental breakfast was included which was perfect for us. Fresh waffles, eggs, bacon, fruit, muffins, breads and drinks are available. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Upon arriving at this location, I was greeted with a parking spot right in front of the hotel entrance. Because it was 5 degree outside, I was so happy. There are FREE cookies and flavored water in the lobby for free after your paid for your room and taxes. The staff is very friendly telling us about the breakfast and their pool schedule. I booked here because of their hot tub which I didn't get a chance to experience this time. On our way to the room, there is a sign on the elevator asking us NOT to cook in the room. I was a bit disappointed but dutifully hide all my cooking wear. Our room is awesome, super modern and I love the bathroom. I can take that home with me if I could. Bed (king size) is well made and I didn't bring my UV light because I rather not know what can't be seem. There are plenty space to leave your snow gear, luggage and coat. Breakfast is filled with kids. SO many kids. I have to admit I stole a waffle from someone because they left it in the waffle machine too long. There are egg in all form and shape as well ham and sausage. This is a great deal if you are a Marriott member. Especially a quick drive to all 3 mountains in the area. Mall is right next to this place too.

Probably the nicest Fairfield location I've ever stayed at. Despite being Marriott's lower tier brand, the hotel was very contemporary and comfortable. Location-wise, it's Marriott's only property in the area, which might explain why it's constantly sold out. It's right behind a strip mall with a few dining choices- but the better restaurants are just up the road in Tannersville or just down the road in downtown Stroudsburg. Though the rooms are a bit on the smaller side, they have high ceilings and walk in showers so they don't feel cramped. I really don't like the carpeting choices that are used in Fairfield Inns, but it is the same carpet you'd see in other locations. I really like the pool and hot tub in this location- the pool is nice and warm- and the bubbles in the hot tub were awesome. Fire pit out back is a nice touch.

Not a single complaint about the quality of the room, the quality of the hotel. Very comfortable beds! It's almost too good to be true how close this hotel is to the downtown area. I'm really really glad I booked this hotel instead of other hotels nearby. This hotel, you can literally walk out the door and go a block and a half and your restaurants are right there in either direction. I wanna make it extremely clear how nice though the hotel was. All of your modern enemies, and all in top form! Absolutely perfectly comfortable beds and pillows. An outstanding air conditioner or heater that worked remarkably well in the room to control your climate to exactly how you wanted it. Super clean with all the bathroom and other amenities. No need to Uber. I want to really point out that this town has multiple breweries and wineries and restaurants. If drinking is part of your agenda wow you won't have anything to worry about you'll be able to walk a block or two, have your drinks and walk back to your room! There's also wonderful restaurants here as well. Finally, it's not a crazy loud town. It's very quiet just a lot of mature fun! Super highly recommended if you're staying in the Delaware water gap area! Very close to the Delaware water gap for you to explore also!

I was visiting family in the area. It was my first time staying at a hotel vs staying with family, and I'd definitely consider this option again. The hotel is located right downtown, within walking distance of main streets. Staff was very pleasant at check in. My room was quite spacious and very clean. There was a couch and desk, big bathroom. They have a fitness room, but the equipment is old and some of it wasn't functioning well. They put out a good breakfast spread with actual hot food and plenty of choices. The only real off thing about my whole stay was that the morning I stayed they had omelettes that contained tiny pieces of sausage and it wasn't labeled as containing meat - which as a vegetarian I wasn't thrilled about. When I brought this up to a staff member they were a little dismissive. Beyond that one interaction though, everything here was quite nice and I'd be happy to stay here again. Actually, I'm quite excited that I have such a nice option and am going to make this a go-to whenever I need a hotel in the area. :)

Most people usually don't like to work out on vacations so hotels try to get away with putting 3 dumbbells and an elliptical in a room and claiming they offer a "gym" on their facilities. This place was much better than usual! I got a great workout in before the festivities There is also a nice indoor pool with a hot tub that my kids took full advantage of. They had a lot of fun with all the other kids at the hotel. Room was nice and spacious and there was a private balcony that led to the back of the cabin with a nice view of the woods. Only reason we didn't hit that 5 star was because of the weird layout. The rooms were at a different location from all the amenities so after we were done swimming, we kinda had to wrap up and walk in the freezing cold to the other area to reach our room. The bathroom was also kinda small Other than that, it was a great stay! The staff was super friendly and we were very comfortable.

The shower stall was not properly cleaned, I noted patches of mold and or dirt stuck to the walls. The way the soap dispensers are built in on the OPPOSITE side of the sink is incredibly awkward - having the permanently installed soap dispenser NOT next to the sink is a bizarre design flaw. While we are on the sink situation, the cold water tap knob spun around without turning on the actual tap - brushing teeth with hot water is not exactly a treat. At the price of $250+ for a standard suite in Stroudsburg PA I really expected a higher level of quality--- the staff we encountered were very polite and helpful which was the best part of the experience.

Short version: we spent $365 for a romantic night. It's not very private, comfortable, or clean. We left by 8pm, so I can't speak to the breakfast part. Longer version: The house is nothing particularly special: pedestrian, on a dark pot-holed street. Arrived around 3:30. We were given little slippers and told to leave our shoes by the door. Our host kindly showed us our room and all the wonders of the bathroom. We were also shown the eating area in the basement. Then some other guests arrived. The doors are quite thin and the room didn't feel private at all. The room looks out on the deck and the neighbors burning trash. The blinds do work. The bathroom was probably very nice when it was installed back in the late 90s. It's just a bit worn and not really luxurious. We used the jacuzzi tube. Water was very hot. The bed was very squishy. You just sink right on in there. Maybe some people like it. Don't let the pictures fool you. The room is a little smaller than it appears. The bathroom has a funny little wall with windows. The fireplace is right at the foot of the bed. The shower is kinda small. There were some romantic lights, but they lacked batteries and wouldn't light up. We mostly couldn't get past the feeling like there was no privacy. And some things that didn't seem too clean. There was even a barbecue sauce pack on the floor next to the bed. I just don't think the place is well maintained. But I guess some people like it. I think if it cost $150 a night it'd be fine. But it's definitely got that Poconos-skeeve vibe happening. Like I mentioned above, we spent the money but opted not to be uncomfortable, so we left.
