Pocatello, Id. Very nice accommodation. The building is huge but easily navigable. The shower is easy to use, nothing about the valve is a mystery, and the water is instant hot. The bed is firm and comfortable. The pillows are all a bit too fluffy for me, no flat ones. The bathroom is very large as is the shower. The ventilation system is not exactly quiet, it is efficient, no steaming up of the mirror. Late at night though the vent in the bedroom emits air and rotational motor noise.The AC is also not quiet, but typical, it only came on for brief moments. Ambient noise is at minimum. No noises from neighboring rooms or outside traffic. No plumbing noise. Breakfast was the usual, they offer up a variety of things including make your own waffles. This hotel actually had fresh bananas, a good cereal or waffle topping. read more

Located serenely on top of a quiet hill, overlooking the city of Pocatello and not far from it's Medical Center, I HIGHLY recommend this hotel! It was SO clean and well maintained, that I THOUGHT it was only a year or two old! The staff is friendly and courteous. When the elevator had a malfunction for a couple hours, staff helped carry luggage, etc. up the stairs. Cheerfully too! And it was fixed in short order. They have an on-site laundry available, which was very much appreciated after visiting Yellowstone and the Tetons. The room is large with a K-cup coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave. Linens are breathable and comfortable. The breakfast has hot entries, fresh fruit, oatmeal, and a variety of various bagels, English muffins, and waffles. The bacon was fabulous! They had everything one needed! It also was the very first time I have seen Korean gouchujang sauce offered next to the salsa! One of the most pleasant stays we have ever had in a hotel! read more

Perfect room, it's absolutely massive! We got the 2 queen room with a sofa bed, there was 2 TVs which was perfect for someone to watch tv on the couch and someone else watch tv in the beds. The hot tub and pool are open 24 hours and the staff are super sweet. Parking was a breeze, ac and heater work great and our room had a fridge and microwave. A newer property that is clean, fresh, quiet and COMFORTABLE! Friendly outgoing staff greeted me with a smile and conversation when I arrived. This hotel offers me all I need at Fairfield value pricing. To be honest, I prefer a hotel with a restaurant and bar in house, however those properties are not always expense account friendly or available. I was upgraded to an oversized room with a large screen in the sitting area and a large screen in the bed area. Grub hub delivers here so dining in room is better than seeking dinner out. read more

It's place to stay although done stay facing the freeway it can be a little noisy and the sound seems to come through the vents it kind of scary when I heard it in the bathroom. Covid they practice the social distances and mask they normally have breakfast till 10am but now it ends at 9 so I am sad I missed it twice.. first we left at 7am and breakfast starts at 7:30 the next day it ended at 9 and I came down like 9:08 and it was closed up.. but luckily one of the girls was nice enough to get me some coffee. The room was clean but they don't clean your room during your stay unless you ask well we forgot and they did not clean our room but they did bring us some clean towels. These a suites so you have a small kitchen fully stocked with cooking items maybe next time I will cook dinner.. read more

I had an outstanding stay at the Fairfield Inn when running the Pocatello marathon this weekend. Upon checking in, I received a free upgrade to the king suite, which came equipped with two televisions, a sitting area and desk, microwave, refrigerator and Keurig. Awesome! The hotel had a large pool and hot tub on the first floor with a view overlooking the mountains. The free breakfast was excellent, with scrambled eggs, omelets, sausage, waffles and a variety of other options. The facilities were clean and well-attended - since the hotel only just opened this summer, it is in excellent condition. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. I think my favorite part was the drive up to the hotel each night. Located at the top of a hill on Vista Drive, the parking lot had an incredible view of the mountains and surrounding city. Don't miss sunset from the hotel parking lot if you are visiting from out of town - it is breathtaking! read more

We only stayed one night and it was very pleasant. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful and recommended a restaurant across the street. The room was clean and spacious. There was a king size bed with comfortable bedding. There was a separate work desk space area with a desk and it's on TV. The bathroom was a good size and clean. In the morning they had a hot breakfast including eggs, ham and cheese sandwiches. There was a waffle maker to make fresh waffles in a wide variety of coffees,juices and drinks. read more

I didn't even get a chance to stay at the Fairfield Inn in Pocatello before it all went wrong. I mistakenly cancelled my reservation, and as soon as I realized my mistake, 20 minutes later, I called to reinstate it. A very nice woman named Sherri put me on hold for several minutes and then came back and said she didn't have visibility to my reservation and that I'd have to call the main Marriott reservation number, she even gave it to me - 888-236-2427. I called and explained my mistake and the Marriott associate put me on hold for a few minutes. She came back and said she'd spoken with her Assist team, who had apparently called the hotel, who said they would not reinstate the reservation. After only 30 minutes. I said this was an unacceptable solution and she offered to hand me off to the Elite Team, who called the hotel back AGAIN, which I thought was weird, since Sherri at the hotel in Pocatello told me they didn't have visibility to the reservation and that I'd have to call the main number. This time they said they were full, for one night, 6 weeks away. Only 35 minutes after I cancelled. I was looking forward to checking out this new hotel since we come to Pocatello more than once a year, but I guess I'll never know what it's like, because next time I'll be staying at the Hampton Inn. I hope the short term gain is worth the long term loss. read more

If you want to sleep well in comfort stay here. The bathrooms are well lit and roomy-enjoyed the double sized shower. They offer in-room coffee, fridge and mw. I appreciate that the windows open. Besides the full-sized desk and ergo chair they have a low profile stool on wheels that comes in handy. "Real" hangers are found in the closet. Our room was super clean, well designed and beautiful . May 5-7, 2018. THE STAFF: friendly and efficient no issues here. FURNISHINGS: new, clean, and in good working order. BATHROOM: clean tub/shower with one of those bowed shower rods that gives you a little more room to move around in. The toilet was clean and flushed well. The sink did have an issue with the water spraying out of the faucet getting all over everything, but when I reported the problem, it was taken care of quickly. SLEEPING AREA: we had the two queen bed suite, so there was no separate bedroom. The beds were clean and soft as I have requested in my Marriott Members profile. COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST: this was good. More than your basic cereal, pastries, and juice or milk. Lots of other good breakfast type foods, that actually looked good. The serving area was clean and kept orderly by the staff. OVERALL: the hotel was new, so as expected, everything looked clean and crisp. The room was fresh and had no musty smell too it. For the price, this was very nice. I can honestly recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay. read more

We had no complaints. The staff was super nice. The rooms were modern and clean. The hot tub and pool were both good sizes and while it got a little loud, there was plenty of room for everyone to swim and lounge comfortably! It was clean, well-stocked with towels and complimented by a new and modern design. Also, breakfast was awesome for a hotel offering. We would stay again if we were in the area. read more

Hotel is brand new and beautiful. My daughter and I checked in with a 2 year old and a4 year old. You can guess how much luggage is involved. They only have on luggage cart. When I asked about it the girl at the front desk was very unconcerned and slightly rude. I waited for the cart to reappear which it never did. I'm sure whoever used it was not concerned with bringing it back and there was literally no staff to be seen. Since it's new it may get better but they were not super helpful in my opinion read more

Would definitely choose this establishment again if staying in Pocatello. Stayed one night. They allowed us to park our semi truck and cattle trailer right in front of the hotel. The rates are reasonable. Was $160 with tax for a king sized bed. The room was very clean and it smelled so much better than most hotels, probably because it's newly (2017) constructed. Comfy firm bed with great pillows. We loved the shower AND you can log into your own Netflix or other streaming options and watch just like your at home with their smart tv! So cool. The sink in our room had the drain thing stuck down so it wouldn't drain. We were unable to get it unstuck. Wasn't a big deal. We let the front desk woman know when we checked out. She was very apologetic and said next time we stay with them to please let them know of any issues and that they will address them quickly. She was very sweet and we told her it was really no big deal. read more
