This place knocked my socks off. We stayed in the Jungle Room. Waterfall, koi pond, spa tub for two. High ceilings. The service was charming and friendly. This place is lovely. I felt like I left the country inside the room and entered my favorite childhood book, Where The Wild Things Are. A must visit if you want something out of the ordinary.

Heart-shaped tub with a fish tank! So peaceful to sleep to the sound of the fish tank.

Took a mini vacation from SLC a few months ago and stayed a night in the under the sea room, my god this is by far the COOLEST room I've ever stayed in! Check in was friendly and super easy, and you get a breakfast basket with burritos! Room was clean and beautifully decorated, everything is hand painted and built. Bed was extremely comfy and everything worked great (TV, tub, toilet, etc). The one tiny thing id say is there is patio furniture inside the room which kinda threw me off. This was seriously the most memorable weekend getaway for us, we can't wait to come back and try the Romeo and Juliet room!

The staff at Black Swan Inn truly saved my trip from being a horrific stay at the nearby Motel (they call it Super) 6. Black Swan was booked up so I asked if they could call me if they have any cancelations and went on to book at the nearby Motel "Super" 6 and let me tell you, it was the grossest motel I've ever been to by so far. Right when I was getting my refund from that sleazy motel Black Swan called me and offered me the Romeo & Juliet room. As I drove up I was immediately relieved and excited as the grounds are immaculate and breath taking. Every single detail it well thought out and one of a kind. Highest of quality you'll get with such a unique decor and the staff was so welcoming, kind, and friendly. They offered us a complimentary breakfast which was very good with options of different eats and drinks. The room was totally clean from top to bottom and was super thought out this all amenities one could ask for. The bed was very comfortable and cozy with the fireplace and jet tub. I would definitely recommend this amazing stay to anyone and everyone. We also had some of the best food and drinks at the nearby Yellowstone restaurant. I highly recommend both! You wont regret it and you'll have similar great memories as I do now from how top notch the Black Swan and this town is.

Lying in the two person jetted tub watching a movie!

Don't pass on your chance to stay here, definitely a romantic space and the price cannot be beat. The rooms are so unique and are such a complete experience. The rates are consistent with average hotel prices, in many cases the rooms are even less than your ordinary hotel & you get so much more than your average chain luxury hotel. You can have the included continental breakfast or have delivery from a local restaurant. 2 big complete meals for $20 and that includes gratuity! We stayed in the Wild West room because that was the lowest rate and I am trying to maintain a budget, but someday I want to come back to stay in several of the others rooms especially the cave. You will not regret a stay here!

This is a wonderful place for a getaway in the Pocatello area. The rooms are clean and the style is amazing as it changes the experience. The front desk attendant was fantastic and very kind and helpful. We stayed in the Mountain Cabin room as my late father-in-law has his moose hanging in the room. This location is worth your time if you are staying in Pocatello. Due to life taking us away from Pocatello it has been 20 years since we have stayed here but this will become a yearly event! Thanks for the hospitality!

Luxury, kitsch, and wonderful staff people, what more could you ask for? We did a 1 night stay here in the Sea Cave suite and it was delightful! The room was over the top, fun and, most importantly, very, very clean. The decor was great, figuring out all of the room's secrets was a blast (check out the second shower knob, trust me), and the hot tub was amazing! We stayed here near the end of an 11 state road trip and I picked it because I wanted something relaxing and romantic and it was both. The hot tub was divine after days of driving, the breakfast options were lovely and unexpected and the staff was what I would have expected in a far more expensive hotel. All around a great experience and wonderful place to relax for a night. If you need some couples time, time off work, or just a relaxing night or weekend away, book this place. You get five-star service at three-star prices and it's definitely worth the price!

This place is super awesome! The owner and staff is SUPER friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate and clean and we loved the music playing when we walked into the Sea Cave. A lot of personal touches have gone into the planning and constructing of these rooms. They have a "you pick" breakfast for the AM that you hand select. We would've given it 5 +++ stars but we were woken up by our upstairs neighbors multiple times throughout the night. Once at 12am, then 1am when we could hear their pipes from running a bath (super loud) and they were up running around at 4:00am as well. Probably isn't a usual issue for people to stay awake all hours of the night and morning.. so we would definitely stay here again! Thanks to the owner and staff!

What a tremendous surprise to find this place when looking for a place to stay between Yellowstone and Silver City on our Idaho road trip. The people were nice and we loved the Cave Suite. I can't wait until we get an excuse to make it back and try out some of the other rooms.

Hotel is beautiful and clean, pirate room was fun, and area felt safe. Breakfast was prepackaged, carb laden food, unless you want to buy a hot breakfast. We were leaving too early to order the breakfast. Highly recommend.

A great find in southeastern Idaho. Romantic and reasonably priced compared to the competition.

Bed was very comfortable with excellent pillows & sheets. Full kitchen in 2-bedroom suit with ALL appliances, including coffee maker, full oven/stove, dishwasher. Shower pressure was very good with lots of lotions, etc. Nice towels too! Really enjoyed the shower. Pool, spa tub & gym on premises. Free breakfast buffet was extensive and fully stocked up to closing at 9am. Eggs, bacon, hot oatmeal with toppings, yogurt, oranges, cereal & milk, bagels, muffins & toast, cream cheese & jelly/peanut butter, country gravy & warm biscuits. Large, warm & inviting breakfast seating with large-screen TV. . Cons- Seriously overpriced snack market, next to reception. Quirky building layout, difficult to find elevators. Room was...meh. Carpet appeared new, but all else was well-worn. Black-out curtains were beat with smalls holes. Bathroom toilet paper holder was broken with missing bar. TP was on top of tank. Water damage & chipped tiles around shower/tub. No robes, nor slippers (but not promised, either). Paper towel roll was almost empty, no replacement in room. Disposal switch for sink, but no disposal under sink. Pool had pealing ceiling, worried about chunks of paint falling in water. Back door to pool was propped open with a chair, so any non-guest could enter property. . We would return, after they refresh the property and update.

You can verify this yourself on either the D&B Business Directory and/or state business registries, as both are free to search. If you sort reviews by "Newest First" you'll see that the establishment has gone from 5-star to 4-star to... 2-star with me. I'm not going to give them 1-star, it was at least stay-able, for a night in a pinch, but holy hell does this place not live up to the Marriott brand name. I feel bad because franchises of a corporate brand name are left with all the risk when the economy tightens, and it definitely shows at this place. Yes, as previous reviews have said, this place is well-worn. So you don't need me to elaborate on that. But what I WILL elaborate on is that BECAUSE the place is well-worn AND we're in the economic state we're in (recession-"ish"), I'm guessing the cost of repairs has gone up due to supply chain cost/price increases (e.g. the cost of repairing a toilet in 2026 is SIGNIFICANTLY higher than in 2019). As a result, the establishment is NOT getting better. When we arrived, the front desk was nice. OK, that's an easy fix, nothing there, nice lady at the front, check-in was relatively smooth, yada yada yada. But we get to the elevator and it's.... out of order. Whatever, we take stairs, to the third floor, eh, that sucks, but whatever, shit happens, I guess. Get to the room on the third floor, and the inside of the room smells like someone had smoked there, and the maintenance team perhaps had just put in an ozone machine in an attempt to "de-smoke" the place instead of, say, replacing furniture, repainting the walls (my girlfriend works in property management so this is the typical SOP for when a tenant smokes in a non-smoking property). So Tuscany Hotels LLC is cutting corners, and I'm not sure if it's because they're cheap (e.g. if i were not giving benefit of the doubt) or if because cost of repairs and M&O (maintenance & operations) costs are getting too high (e.g. if i WERE giving benefit of the doubt). Either way, I paid more to stay at this place even WITH Beneplace (employer-provided hotel discounts for personal stays) compared to staying at a resort hotel in Yellowstone literally the next day that was NOT Marriott branded. Also... Breakfast sucked. This is a company-wide problem, irrespective of franchise or corporate, as all locations I've noticed (non-luxury like Residence Inn, Towneplace Suites, Fairfield, Element BUT ALSO LUXURY Marriott brands like Westin, Marriott, JW Marriott, etc) are all serving the same, shitty, microwaved, "big premade eggs in a bag" for breakfast. When ALL the different tier of hotels in a corporate brand are serving the same slop, all the hotel tiers become... The same. Again, this is the economic reality we're in, so I'm trying to write this review with understanding, but understanding doesn't mean you get a free 5-star review, nor does it mean an automatic 1. I think a 2-star review is fair. It shows that this place is reflective of its current 2-star customer experience, but it also shows that there is potential upside for this business to turn around.
