Worst management and customer service! I stayed here while traveling for work, doing 10 and 12 hour shifts at a location nearby where I had no phone service. It was convenient for me to book and extend my stay online periodically. After making an extension online, my card room key stopped working. I went to the front desk and was told if I just pay for that night in person, the reservation issues would get sorted out later. I have spent hours talking in person, making phone calls, sending emails, only to get the run around and the same repeated answer. I'm told to waste further time contacting "the third party booking site" for a refund. Site which has a clear policy that their insurance only covers situations like illness and canceled flights, not when the hotel takes the money for a four night reservation and books you for a separate room other than the one you are in. Then refuses to give a refund or even rewards points towards a future stay when you never check in to that room! read more

We stayed here with a large group of kids during a hockey tournament. This particular location has been renovated to the newer floor plans and room design. Our family really liked the King Bed with the fold out couch - it was pretty comfortable for our family of 3. The hotel itself was relatively quiet and is in a good location with access to the main road and nearby shopping and food. The staff was helpful and they did a great job cleaning our room. The pool is quite small, and it was loud / heavily chlorinated. I suppose most parents are used to that in hotel pools though :) It has a great workout facility, and the breakfast included fresh eggs and a waffle station. I would stay here again and recommend it to people who are looking for a reasonable hotel ($150 per night) that includes a hot breakfast and is easily accessible from the main roads. read more

I booked a King Suite. I measured the bed, it was 72" by 78". Not even close to a King size bed. The rooms felt very small and claustrophobic. A King bed is 76" by 80". They seem to really misunderstand sizes. The room was 12.5 feet by 20 feet, 250 sqft -including the bathroom. VERY tight!. It was OK, but not great, or Nice, or worth the money they charged. SO MANY FAILS I'm extremely let down with this hotel. I've flown around the world and I've stayed st many hotels but the epic fails here can not go unmentioned. I do want to share a positive first. The hotel is new and beautiful. The rooms are comfortable and modern. I have no issues with the look of the location. I have some problems with the staff. First I want to call out the breakfast. On the weekend it was amazing. It was clean and organized and working like a fine oiled machine. This is what I normally see at a Marriott. But during the week a I saw the worse. The food was dried out and burned. The ham slices looked like leather and I was embarrassed for the Marriott. There were also several health code violations happening. There were no utensils to grab the muffins, poppy seed bread, bagels, sliced bread or hard boiled eggs. I watched hotel guests reach in with there bare hands and grab all of these food items. I saw a 6 year old child sneeze in their hand and then grab a hard boiled egg. The violations happening should be enough to close this place down. The food bar was also gross. There was waffle batter all over the floor and the counter. It was like a pig pen. The attendant on duty did nothing to actually clean up anything. She looked confused and like it was her first time ever making breakfast. The utensils were empty including the coffee. Please just keep the coffee full. That's all I need in the morning. It was just horrible. Upon leaving breakfast I did go to the front desk to tell the manager who looked horrified but he never apologized. He just ran off to fix the issues. My biggest issue was that I called down to the front desk to have my room cleaned at 11:30am. I had a feeling that house keeping was going to skip my room. I talked to the front desk who assured me that my room would be cleaned. I walked back into my room after working all day for 12 hours and my room was not cleaned. I also did not leave out the do not disturb sign. No new towels and the beds were not fixed. I called the front desk and the phone rang for 10 minutes. No one answered. When we walked in for the evening, we noticed that there was no one at the front desk. So I literally had to go back down to find someone on staff to help me. I was able to get some clean towels for the morning but that didn't fix the problem. My room was not cleaned. There's also a weird smell in the hotel hallways and rooms. It's like that musky FLORIDA smell which is weird because we're in Nebraska. I'm not the only one who smelled it. Everyone in our group called it out and four of us can't be wrong. I'm not sure what caused this but it's there. I really can't recommend this place. There fails out weigh anything good here. Marriott is an amazing brand but this location doesn't get it. I could not over look the health code violations plus don't neglect my room especially after I called and was given a verbal response that you would take care of it. You let me down and that's not the Marriott brand I know. read more

With one exception, this is the typical Fairfield Inn. Being a Marriott regular (and having status with the chain), this particular location is on par with and meets my expectations for this chain. The hotel itself is nice, the front desk staff friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is the usual selection (usually bacon and sausage, eggs, waffles and assorted breads and cereals). No complaints there. However, what really lets this place down is the housekeeping. It is horrid. For one, I tossed several towels directly to the floor as they were visibly stained/dirty. Secondly, on my first night a crumb from my dinner fell to the floor and remained there during my entire stay, which indicates that my room was never vacuumed. The same applied to my bathroom, without going into detail I can tell that the floor was never cleaned/mopped or if it was, it was poorly done. Lastly, this was a first to me and I usually stay at Marriotts 10-15 times a year; but after working on Sunday I came back to find my room had not been serviced. I called the front desk and while they offered to send someone up to clean my room, I had work to do and did not want to be interrupted. I did not mistakenly leave my 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door (I've accidentally done that before, and my room wasn't cleaned; but that was my fault). as I didn't have one in my room. Nope, in all my time with Marriott (and it is my preferred hotel chain across the globe), this was the first time this has happened. I have to add I am not the only one who has had issues with housecleaning at this particular Fairfield Inn, a colleague of mine stayed here a few weeks ago and experienced the same issues (I think she may be one of the reviews complaining about housekeeping as well!) One more item, my first night here was restless as I thought the hotel was poorly soundproofed as I heard traffic along the nearby highway (370) all night. The next morningI found that the window wasn't properly closed. That did help a lot but I was irritated over the fact that after a terrible day of travel during which my flights were delayed due to weather, I did not get a good night's rest because the window wasn't closed. I would expect that this would be one thing the housecleaners would check after the previous occupant of the room departs, but apparently not! To end on a positive note, with my delayed arrival I called to ensure my room wouldn't be cancelled as I arrived after midnight. The person at the front desk was very helpful and assured me my room would be here when I arrived. If this place could only get its housecleaning staff squared away, it would go from two starts to 4-5 (they're not quite "as good as it gets" but I would be a fan!); but as it stands after this experience I might find an alternative Marriott to stay at when I am in the area even if that involves a longer drive to work. I will check on here to see if the newest reviews reveal the problems have been corrected or are continuing, and if it's the latter, then I am most definitely will stay elsewhere. Bad housecleaning is enough to keep me away! read more

I've stayed at this particular hotel a few times now while visiting family. The staff is always friendly and helpful whenever I had questions and have even gone out of the their way to make sure that our stay is enjoyable. An example of that is that my daughter (2.5 years old) loves the apples and bananas they have available at the front desk but being a kid doesn't like the bruises. They took note of this and made sure I knew when they got new deliveries of fruit so i would know when the fruit would be at its highest quality. They were also very kind to my daughter as well. Housekeeping is ok. They do their job as prescribed. Didn't run into any issues there. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. It's clean, and the staff is great! read more

Very friendly and helpful staff! The front desk was so helpful with some business needs and printing. Breakfast had a good variety, and was predictable for a self-serve breakfasts. Fair pricing and good parking. Good selection of restaurants nearby. Rooms are modern and pretty big. Linens are nice. Nothing over done, and nothing under done. Minus one star for a heavy musty smell in the room. Thanks to everyone I encountered for their friendly greetings and smiles. You made me feel at home and comfortable. read more

I travel a LOT and never leave reviews. THIS experience has been by far the worst and is worthy of an objective review. Objective in that I am only complaining about basic needs/cleanliness that would be expected of any hotel anywhere. Update: Without me complaining to hotel management, I was offered a sincere apology and extra Marriott Points. The TVa have been fixed too. Am much happier despite a gross beginning. They came to ME with the offer, I didn't have to ask. That tells me they care. Here was the story: Night one, I notice extra pillowcases on one of the beds. I think, "probably left over from when they made the beds?" Then I shower and find pubic hair and other hairs in the shower WHILE I'm showering! I planned to confront the front desk in the morning on my way to work. I'm not one to get irate easily, just address it later. In this case, in the morning. I also notice the TV freezes up every two minutes or so. Morning After (Morning #1): As I'm brushing my teeth the next morning, I catch a glimpse in the mirror of two used/soiled washcloths hanging from the top of the shower curtain rod behind me - obviously from the PREVIOUS guests. I missed them the night before (when I showered) because I am short and did not wear my glasses or contacts either. I confront the front desk about both the washcloths and hairs on my way to work. I come back at 6pm and the wash cloths were STILL there. As I leave for dinner I re-engage the front desk. I ALSO mention that my DirectTV still freezes every two minutes. I was instructed to disconnect it from the TV and plug back in to "reboot". I'm perplexed by this because by doing so there is absolutely no rebooting of anything. There's no box/router/switch/distribution that gets rebooted. But I nod and try it out after returning from dinner. No fix. I decide to just go to sleep. Morning #2: I wake late and shower super quick. Again no glasses/contacts. I return from work and with contacts on that evening I shower again. THOSE HAIRS WERE STILL THERE from previous guests!?! CLEARLY they didn't sanitize the bathroom the day before when I specifically asked them to.....apparently don't sanitize between guests!! Also, my TV STILL freezes every two minutes! Their solution, pack everything and move floors. But my coworker is ALSO having the same problem. It's clearly not the room, it's somewhere between dish and the distribution of signal to the rooms?? I have three more nights here for work and am not thrilled about it at all. I feel like this place takes short cuts? Now I'm wondering if the reason I found extra pillow case strewn across one of the beds is because the beds weren't changed? Were they forgotten? I'll never know....and I'm not checking that bed either.... read more

Very nice hotel! Apparently it was new as of Oct 2014 but still has the new feel. Room was nice. Lobby was very nice Proximity to shopping at dining was amazing. Only down side is the epic amount of construction around the hotel entrance. Wasn't sure if I was going to be able to get into the hotel at first. Would stay here again for sure if I EVER found myself in Papillion, NE again. read more

Carlos rocks! I was planning a secret rendezvous for my 25th wedding anniversary, but I wanted to make it a surprise plus we only had a few hours because my hunny had to go back to work!!! Went in to make the reservation personally and Carlos was on top of helping me with an early check in a great price as well as having superb customer service. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. However, many of the rooms reek with a musky smell. The staff tried to find us rooms that did not smell, but all that we tried had the same unpleasant odor. A young child in our group awoke in the night having breathing problems and had to treated at the ER and a nearby hospital. I have asthma and am now having more breathing problems also after staying at this Fairfield Inn. Anyone with breathing rooms should consider staying at a different hotel. read more

I stayed here for 11 days when I first moved to Omaha. It was great! At one point we gave money to the person at the front desk to tip the cleaning lady because we had forgotten and she got it. Very trust worthy people and friendly! Clean and very nice area to visit. read more
