Pros: 1. This Fairfield location is conveniently right off the 215 freeway. 2. There are many surrounding food options to choose from including a Starbucks within walking distance. 3. Target with a Tesla supercharging (and EV) station is less than a mile from the hotel. 3. Breakfast is provided. 4. Laundry room onsite. 5. Pet friendly. Cons: 1. The water pressure and the hot water temp are not at normal levels so don't expect a nice relaxing hot shower. 2. Air conditioning is loud. 3. Pillows and beds are uncomfortable in that they sloped downwardly towards the middle of the room. 4. $14 charge for self parking. We have stayed at this property a few times. The associates are consistently nice. This trip we had the pleasure of meeting Paola at the front desk. She was so nice to us. Turns out that I found out that her father worked with me several years ago. The breakfast is always delicious and the women that maintain it are hard working and friendly. We had an evacuation order for the Valle de Los Caballos area of Temecula due to the Fairview Fire. We noticed many firefighters parked at the hotel. God bless those heroes! Thankfully, this hotel was one of the few left that were pet friendly & had vacancies. We brought our 2 Chihuahua mix senior girls with us, who are naturally our family. They charged a non-refundable dog deposit of $85 and it was an additional $20 per day. They are in an ideal location! The hotel is surrounded by eateries and shopping plus it is freeway close. We were greeted very nicely by the ladies at the front desk and check in was quick & easy. We proceeded to go up to the room and it was spacious & clean. The AC was clearly working very well. Hubby then brought the furry babies up & they were having a bit of anxiety pacing back & forth. We held them until they fell asleep in their bed. There were 2 queen beds in the room. Our bed was rather comfy but the pillows were flat. Thankfully, we brought our own pillows. I telework and the chair they have at the desk was definitely not conducive to a comfortable work posture. I would suggest replacing it with an adjustable, high back work chair on caster wheels for ease of mobility. Work desk was a nice size and the WiFi was reliable as my VPN disconnected once. The bathroom was a good size, very clean, fully stocked with fluffy towels and we liked the shampoo, conditioner & body wash bottles attached to the shower wall. The shower water pressure was fine. We enjoyed the complimentary hot breakfasts--see my photos. Everything is nicely laid out. The dining area was spacious and immaculately clean! We weren't sure how long we needed to stay but we knew the order had not been lifted so we asked if could extend our stay one more night. Fortunately, we could but we had to move to another room that had one king bed because they wanted to place displaced families. That was a no-brainer and we happily complied. This next room was also clean. We were treated so respectfully. It was refreshing to see an entire staff so polite & welcoming as if they understood the hardship and exuded compassion. The entire hotel has an HVAC system that will not allow you to turn the fan off in your room. So, don't waste your money staying here if you want a good night's sleep. The TV won't even mask it. The front desk can only offer an apology and suggest unplugging the unit. Unfortunately that shuts off all of the lights in the room - and the TV. I'll definitely be disputing my credit card charge and never stay at a Marriot hotel again. I'd give it a zero, but have to give 1 star to review. Update: We found that stacking luggage and the entire set of bedding from second bed on top of the fan will quiet it down a bit. Also chairs helped. Go a few miles away to one of the other towns. We stayed only because my mother in law was passing away and Menifee only has this motel, motel 6 and a 1 star motel. Got there at 3:00 check in time no room ready. Rate was $139 ended up being $187 When I called they said $20 for incidentals, $25 for parking. I said for what? Not valet & a normal park yourself parking lot. Air unit in room was super loud even on off so when I went downstairs at 11:30 pm after driving for 7 hours asked how I turn it off? Mgr said you have to unplug it. I said I have to crawl under the unit to unplug it? Yes Breakfast was awful, oh & phone didn't work at all. Quick and easy check in! I did not have a reservation and I have my toddlers with me, just me and them. So to have the check in so quick and easy was very important to me! Honestly this place is the only hotel I haven't seen junkies around! All the other hotels in menifee are swarming with junkies. (I grew up out here) the staff was friendly and it's reasonably priced to keep the "trash" away. The rooms are really nice and I felt the beds were comfy. Tv was easy to figure out. My only Concern is that the pool was pretty cloudy but we still had fun! The water was perfect not too cold not too warm! Thank you guys! Oh and it's awesome they serve breakfast! It's been a tough year for the hotel business. Owners of these chains have lost tons of money and have had to both layoff employees and defer maintenance to survive. Our room was a good example of life during a pandemic. It had some minor maintenance problems, surprising given the newness of this hotel. But with one phone call to the Front Desk, Jerry their Maintenance Mgr was up and had it fixed. Nice! Our room was large and very clean. In fact, COVID clean. We had an Ultra-Violet air cleaner running when we came in. Very sophisticate, very clean (see photos) even though we've had our second shots, we were very much impressed. They also serve a modified breakfast, no buffet mind you, just pre-wrapped sandwiches, juice and coffee. Again, nice. Three Stars, A-Okay! read more

As a homeowner who is experiencing a major water damage. This was my go to hotel I spent many thousands of dollars at this place whenever there was an emergency. From their opening until the end of our two months stay. However, I experienced a break in. In my work vehicle. In August 2023. Someone broke into my truck. I filed a police report then to the hotel. Only to find out the hotel completely excused themselves from any responsibility. All my market merchandise was stolen. I was devastated. A total lost. I called the police. They viewed the video only to find out inadequate lighting and cheap quality camera system could not show the thief. A complete loss. Then I found out I had to file yet another claim with homeowners. They paid $1500. Not including my repair of my car. As a consumer I feel these place that so easily except our money should do more to protect its customers. So if I was attacked personally no hope of catching perp because poor quality images. I won't be back there. I caution anyone else to be there as well. read more

I was debating whether to do this review or not, we stopped here and try to book a room since we been traveling and driving most of the day and needed a place to sleep. We encountered the most rude behavior and we even felt discriminated by the person at the front desk. As soon as we entered the building the guy comes running out of a side door screaming $309 we said huh? He said $309 is the fee is to book a room here, i had looked at the pricing for the night at $124 for a Sunday stay at Expedia he said yes but his system was still on Saturday even though it was already Sunday morning around 1:20 am to be exact, we said yes to the $309 quote he then said his system was down and it would take like an hour to get back online at this point we felt he was giving us every reason possible for us not to stay there, i said we will wait he then said he was waiting for other guest to check in and didn't know if he would have any rooms available all the time saying this in a discouraging way. Booked last minute and besides the $14 charge for parking in an open lot around the hotel and the beyond awful marshmallow bed, the hotel is terrific. It is spotless and clean, very modern. A diverse breakfast with many options ready at 6.30AM. It wasn't great food by any means but for including the breakfast it was more than adequate. The whole hotel is very quiet and smells so fresh and clean I really love the Marriott layouts where you walk straight into the breakfast room and everything is just close to each other. The room is just the same looks very nice and clean similar to the Hampton Inns but I honestly like the Marriott's more. The problem is as one other yelper said, the AC unit even when off still makes some noise and is never fully turned off so it does get a bit annoying hearing that light buzzing especially if you are a light sleeper like me. Also I have to comment on the walk-in shower; it is beautifully designed and has terrific shower pressure, strong like bull. I literally wanted to take the entire unit home with me and replace my shower it was that unforgettable LOL. Overall a relaxing night and if the bed was firm it would be five stars for me but it was just terrible along with the pillows come on guys you can do better than this! read more

We found ourselves in Menifee after partaking in a wine escape in Temecula and glad we did. Really close to all the amenities in Menifee and a bunch of restaurants. Walking distance to Starbucks. Parking lot was spacious. We stay at a lot of Marriott hotels (heyyy rewards credit card) and this one was new, clean, and spacious. Grab and go breakfast was great for people who are still germed out by COVID stuff. Which is me, obvi. The room was nice with a large bathroom and shower, but my only gripe was that the air was controlled by a wall a/c unit with a thermostat. I never sleep as well when it's from those things. It kept the room cool, but it was loud and coming from under the window. I'm spoiled with proper a/c in the actual wall and so I'm a little prissy about it. Comfy, clean, spacious. We'd stay again if we found ourselves back in Menifee. read more

They refuse to do anything to compensate us -they said well it's hot and it's the summer ...and said there was no complaint form. Unfortunately this is the only hotel currently in Menifee besides a motel 6. I have stayed here twice while coming to visit my family. This will be my last for sure. The beds are terrible! Rock hard. The first time we stayed last Thanksgiving we had terrible sleep but this time was even worse as the bed reeked of urine and the metal springs in the bed could be felt every time I turned. The room also would not get cool and it was so warm all night!. They offer a free breakfast that ends at 9 AM! Perfect since you will be awake from a sleepless night. read more

Had to stay here during a power outage at my home. The whole experience was amazing! All the employees at the front desk were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were nice, bathroom nice, and the beds were VERY comfortable! The continental breakfast was also very good. I will for sure stay here again if I need to due to another outage. read more

My better half is TITANIUM elite and didn't feel whatever Marriott status you have. 1 star- They have variety for breakfast. *They will not clean your room even garbage until your 3rd night. We didn't appreciate that. They said unless you requested it. So is that the standards/policy of the hotels now? I guess this hotel only. We stayed in a lot of hotels, they will clean your room everyday especially garbage! COVID is OVER! So cleaning the room whatever marriott status you have, They don't care. This is our 3rd stay here but with this policy about cleaning rooms, Now that covid is over, We will stay in another hotel that knows about CLEANLINESS next time! *We went back night in our room and even garbage was not cleaned. We have a kid that's changing diapers and we ate in the room. So the room smelled because they don't care even changing the garbage. I went to the front desk and they said "You need to request it". So we need to request everything????????? Someone came and asked us if we wanted him to clean the garbage. Too late my son is crying and sleepy. I am a loyal Marriott Bonvoy member & unfortunately I never stepped foot on to this property but highly DO NOT recommend this property due to their management and customer service. I had a reservation that was prepaid/ non refundable with the exception of it being done by a specific date and time. I made the cancellation in a timely manner and the hotel still charged me in full for it. And the hotel management has argued with me that because it's non-refundable they can not do anything and referred me Marriott Customer Care. And then when I took it up with Marriott, they reached out on my behalf and denied any assistance or reconsideration of the situation. I am two weeks into this ordeal that has not been resolved and due to their lack of customer service and lack of care with a guest I don't recommend staying with this specific Fairfield! There were 6 of us for our 2 rooms/3 night stay and we all agreed this was the perfect hotel for our needs. Great location! Clean! Friendly! Comfortable beds! Newly developed area with many eating and shopping choices within walking distance. David was patient and kind when I called with questions prior to making the reservations, and everything he said was spot on! Keon, at the main desk upon check in, was amazing! The breakfast was good and plenty! The housekeeping staff was very accommodating! Some of us enjoyed the hot tub. There is a dirt lot next to the hotel, which was off putting in pictures but was a non issue in person. We felt comfortable, safe and at ease our entire visit. Highly recommend! We ended up at the Fairfield inn while our house was under repairs. Somehow this staff has managed to make the stay enjoyable, despite being stuck here for over a month with three small children. The rooms are nice enough for the price with a clean pool and gym. But the thing I love the most is how friendly and attentive all the employees are, from making sure our rooms are cleaned and well stocked, to the nice young man showing my nine year old the best way to make a waffle at their continental breakfast- we've felt somewhat at home. They will overbook by multiple rooms and not even call to tell you that you don't have a room and then try to relocated you 20 minutes away. The bride was told the day before her wedding that she did not have a room even though she had booked it two months prior. The manager George is your standard cardboard cut out employee who says he can't help you and acts as if he was there the day the issue happened and you're the problem. Extremely upset with the experience that our entire group of 11 rooms had at this hotel the day of the wedding. They made the bride wait for an hour and a half for her room and even then it was still the wrong room. Definitely not worth the money. Rooms are bare and mediocre. I have been staying at this hotel for a week every month since last September and the one time I wasn't able to show up the day of my reservation due to an emergency they cancelled my reservation and charged me for it. I showed up the next day and was told it had been cancelled so then they rebooked me and only booked me for one night when they were supposed to rebook me for the whole week. I called them afterwards to explain that I had an emergency and was hoping they could waive the cancellation cost since this has only happened one time in the many times I've stayed there and they refused and didn't even try doing anything to help. Manager has terrible customer service got charged a 250 fine for allegedly smoking in the room because of a single cigarette butt in trash can in room then charged my credit card 204 dollars for I don't know why then 2 $36 Charges so he got me for 564 dollars when I asked about the other charges he said he didn't know he said quote I don't have an answer why or what those charges are for so that's how the manager of this hotel runs things so beware of frivolous charges and false fines I won't ever do business at this hotel ever again or any Marriott hotel for that matter and I hope anyone who reads this will beware and seek other hotel accommodations read more

We stayed here last minute after our plans fell through elsewhere. For $330 a night, it was very disappointing. The room was clean enough I suppose, but good luck getting yourself clean in that shower. It's more of a mist than a stream of water. Also don't plan on being able to turn off the extremely loud air conditioning unit on the wall. Although you may turn the AC off, it will continue to make a loud noise the entire night. Then on your way to check out, you will get very nice service from someone who doesn't quite speak English. If the prices were lowered to $150 per night, I would consider this hotel. Otherwise I would choose any other hotel in this area for $300 and get MUCH more. read more
