Parking is easy and convenient and location is nice right by Wolf Road and the airport. Very easy to get in and out with your car. We did not note any airport noise but also had the AC blasting the whole time we were in our room. The lobby is very pretty and check in was okay. The room was nice and clean and comfortable with a fridge and an excellent lounge area with a couch and coffee table. One evening we decided to do a tapas style dinner in our room instead of going out and this set up was great for that. Plenty of space in the room and we were not disturbed by other guests at all. Main detracting factor here is that there is no free breakfast like at the Hampton Inns in the area. I like the option of a hotel breakfast to just grab something quickly, even if it's just a yogurt or cereal, and get on with the day. We ended up going to local coffee shops for breakfast, which while way tastier than a hotel breakfast, also takes up part of your morning. They do have a paid breakfast here if you want it, but we preferred to go to our favorite coffee place, Uncommon Grounds. Beekman 1802 bath products in the bathroom were a nice local touch! Would return here again for sure.

They canceled our reservation with no warning, no call, no consent or heads up of any kind!! We pulled up to check in on the day we were scheduled to and were told our room was given away with no warning. We were 5 hours away from home with nowhere to stay or go and were left stranded...the worst feeling ever. I booked our room back in OCTOBER 2022 after having stayed there the previous June and received full email confirmation. The rooms nearly doubled in price in the year since we had been there, but clearny no renovations of any type have been done in nearly 25 years. We are creatures of habit and thought they were trustworthy to book again, but boy were we wrong. The owner was extremely aggressive, unprofessional, confrontational, flippant, and rude. They double booked our room and lied saying that we never showed up. I have a paper trail to prove our reservation was scheduled properly, we were to check in on Saturday June 17 with a Monday June 19 checkout. Upon arriving at 3:PM the day of check in the owner lied to my face saying we were a no show the day prior (not even when we booked for) and they gave away our room! We were confirmed to stay Saturday - Monday! They screwed everything up and instead of attempting to be kind, apologetic, or helpful in any way shape or form to a woman in tears the owner decided to get loud with someone they just ripped off, basically throwing us out. I was told to leave because there was no room for us anymore and nothing was going to change. Even if they screwed up the reservation on their schedule the room could have been paid for both nights by us and never should have been given away. On the reservation they had my cell phone number to contact me if they had concerns or questions of any kind. I have NEVER experienced this level of unprofessionalism, and inappropriateness from any business anywhere. This man would not even speak to us and told me my email confirmation was obsolete because he had already given away our room and nothing was going to change. We considered calling the police on this man for this fraudulent reservation and aggression but left in a hurry because he wouldn't even let my poor husband use the restroom after being in the car for 5 hours. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau already and have informed my credit card to not accept any fraudulent charges from these criminals. Shout out to the Inn at Saratoga for hooking us up and saving the day with a discounted room, free breakfast, and free drinks due to this incredible inconvenience. The McGregor Inn's reputation precedes them. Don't make the mistake of trusting this place because clearly they do not honor any reservations made and are just money grabbing scammers. Horrible sketchy people, horrible sketchy place. UPDATE: THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD 5 DAYS PRIOR TO CHECK IN ILLEGALLY - credit cards are to be charged AFTER checking out. The card was on record to HOLD a room that they did not even do. The charge is being disputed. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

There is a parking garage and outside parking lots. From what we were told the hotel has only been open since last December. There is a large lobby area that includes the reception area, a small area to purchase items like drinks. There was also an area to get a coffee and some breakfast items. Down the hall there is a small restaurant that was serving breakfast. The property itself was very clean. The rooms are your typical AC hotel rooms with a modern somewhat stark look with laminate floors. We had a corner king room. It was quiet, clean, with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was on the smaller side but manageable. It had a walk-in shower with a rain head. The lobby has a large bar with a nice cocktail and beer selection. It was actually our last stop every night before retiring to the room. We liked it because Saratoga can be a sleepy town where places close early. It is on Broadway but outside of town closer to the state park. It is probably a 15 minute walk to the center of Broadway. We took Ubers which are readily available.

Hair all over, carpet was all dirty and stained, room had a bunch of paint chip marks and homeless people behind the building would not stop talking all night. The beds had nasty stains all over as well. Didn't even provide trash cans in our room. You also would expect some type of breakfast for that price, NOPE! Not to mentioned someone must have pulled the fire alarm at 6am causing everyone to leave the building for 20 minutes. STAY AWAY. I don't write reviews but this one had to be written and herd.
