We were passing through town and needed a place to stay one night. Fairfield Inn and Suites was our choice and we were happy with the decision. Rooms were clean. Bed and pillows comfortable. Free breakfast was good with real oatmeal, scrambled eggs, sausage and potato cakes. Staff was welcoming. Rooms were cool for sleeping. Easy to access from the freeway and a short drive to dinner places. It was a quick stay but a good one. read more

Nice property, night staff was friendly and helpful. Door lock froze took engineering over an hour to be able to break in then had to move rooms. Ordinarily not an issue - I am luck to have almost zero things happen to me on the road despite heavy travel. Next morning no apology, no renumeration, no nothing. Several phone calls later over months and zero action. If you stay hear I hope everything goes well for you, its a decent Fairfield. However, at the first sign of trouble good luck, regardless of your status level with the chain. read more

Although I have investment in another hotel chain, I like Marriott so much I may do both. The rooms are very nice, staff is responsive. The continental breakfast good if your really in a hurry, not so much if your depending on it to satisfy you particulars. We have so much fun at the pool due to the great slides and size of the pool. Spa is also very nice. Great selection of snacks if you forget to bring some. Nice little refrigerator and microwave. read more

While the hotel offers several nice amenities, including an indoor water slide, the property has gone downhill since opening 10 years ago. I stayed here a couple times prior to COVID and couple times after because its halfway between my residence and in-laws, and my girls really enjoy the waterpark. This hotel has gone downhill significantly since COVID. Each room I have stayed in since COVID has reaked liked pee. They try to mask the smell, but it wears off after about an hour of checking in. I have stayed at a lot of hotels in my life, and this is the only one I can remember that smells this bad. If you absolutely need to stay here, bring some nose plugs. From now on, I will either stay in Bismarck or Fargo as they are only hour away, which stinks, because my girls love the waterpark. read more

We arrived late in the evening, 8-9pm, for a one-night stay. Parking is free, and plenty of room to park. I had to wait a bit to check in, but it went quick after that. We stayed in non-smoking room with two queen beds. The room was dirty. It needed dusted and vacuumed. My sheets smelled sour. The beds/pillows were comfortable. The bathroom had some stains on the wall, dark red in color. The bathroom otherwise was clean. This hotel has complimentary hygiene pumps in the shower. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to utilize the pool, but it looked really fun. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful. I liked the two different waffle makers. One did a whole waffle and the other one made 4 little ones. I also really loved the spread of toppings available for oatmeal. We would stay here again, if traveling the area. read more

We arrived late in the night (after midnight) and went straight to our room. We enjoyed the rooms (they were clean). It was quite and the rooms were easily accessible. We enjoyed the service and if we ever are back in Jamestown, we will be sure to stay. It was fairly priced and well located right off the freeway read more

This is my favorite hotel in Jamestown and I've stayed at all of them. The staff is the easiest to work with. Their beds and pillows are the most comfortable in town. Their breakfasts are second to none (especially when we are not in the middle of a nationwide pandemic) The whole facility is kept nice and clean. Room was supposed to be reserved for a month through company I worked for, yet they had us checking out after 6 days, for some reason. Didn't know this until that 6th morning lol. Got it fixed. Housekeeping did a terrible job, did not clean or wash off bathroom counter, didn't replace sheets after a week, didn't replace kleenex. Had to get front desk and head housekeeper involved. Worked nights, sometimes they would bang into door while vacuuming hallway. Seemed intentional. Lazy and not friendly. I was not impressed with my stay here and will not stay here in the future. This entire experience was a disaster, find a better hotel to stay at where customer service is prioritized! read more

The staff does not communicate with each other at all and it makes it impossible to have a comfortable stay. If you need to make any changes to your reservation, such as a late check out or an extension of days in a room, make sure to tell every staff member yourself. If not, the only person that will know is the one that you told and they will not do anything with the information which inevitably ends in frustration for the guest. my family and i stayed here at the marriott aug. 9-13 only to be disappointed!! this being a 3.5-4 star hotel, i expected more. first day we checked in, i changed the entire linen on both beds because it looked questionable next i noticed the desk and tv stand dusty and to top it off when i ran the shower i notice the draining real slow, only to find massive hair. see photos below. i did bring it to the clerk on duty that night and she even took pictures from her phone of my pictures and did nothing else. the next day august 10th no mention from management, no one contacted me august 11th i approach front desk and asked for a manager and asked if she was aware of the situation and they said that they were reviewing the pictures, she hard just received them august 12th no one contacted me still no mention. finally when i was checking out the manager was the one checking me out and i asked her about it and she said oh i thought somebody followed up with you about it i'm thinking to myself aren't you management?? and said basically sorry we can't do anything for you i guess customer service isn't an important thing to the marriott in jamestown, north dakota. i've stayed at many hotels from las vegas,california arizona, back east, texas, florida, and never have i experienced feeling less appreciated. to sum it up putting customers isn't their first priority. i will never recommend anyone to stay at this marriott at all signed i disappointed customer read more

They have mask requirements, which I sincerely appreciate, during a time when ND is seeing a rise daily in COVID cases. My only issue is that they should lead by example. Twice the desk clerk was not wearing a mask. The room is modern, but area to hang clothes is way to small. read more

Holy crap this place is FILTHY first of all. Second of all we had a VERY important package that came to the hotel and they made us wait the entire weekend to grab something that was delivered Friday morning. They're all so lazy and refused to check the back for us causing a very serious construction delay. Awful horrible service all around. We stopped here on a long drive in the middle of the night. From the moment we got there, the staff bent over backwards to make sure our needs were taken care of. Our children were welcomed, the grounds were clean and functional, the smart TVs were an excellent "extra" touch. Everything seemed new and pristine. We will definitely be back. read more

Home away from home! This Hotel was amazing! The beds was so comfortable your nights rest was fabulous. I stayed in a King room it was furnished with coffee pot,microwave, and mini fridge. The bathroom was casino style with and up HUGE shower. The staff was terrific, everyone was so welcoming. Malauree Ruff operations manager was the best, very helpful and accommodating. Wonderful place. Clean, well designed, and comfortable. Rooms were spacious and beds were firm. The free internet worked well. The location was quiet yet close to several restaurants and fast food establishments. Walmart was next door. The free breakfast consisted of hot eggs and meats. The breads were delicious. Came for a week on business. Checked into room which was clean and newish, but tiny coat area instead of closet with only 2 hangers. I asked for more hangers and was told they only provide 2 per room. 2 hangers doesn't help if I've got a weeks worth of starched business shirts. I had to go buy hangers so I could hang up my clothes. Staff is nice, but I thought this was cheesy. read more

A very reasonable price with clean rooms! Breakfast wasn't bad either! You can tell it is a new hotel and the staff were friendly.

Had a great stay - all staff members were polite, friendly, and professional, which really makes a difference. Hotel and rooms are clean and comfortable. You can log into Netflix & Hulu through the smart TV in your room, which is a great touch. There is a nice outdoor seating area with a grill and fire pit that my family really enjoyed, too.
