Stayed at this Fairfield Inn for 10 days. Mid-tier hotel with excellent service. Nearby the worksite, good access to restaurants, fast food, and supermarkets. Standard Fairfield Inn amenities like complimentary parking, Wifi, breakfast, etc. Nice expanded work desk and adequate number of outlets for my electronics, although some of them on the lamps were pretty loose. My stay was broken up by a weekend. I had some refrigerated items I wanted to keep for the 2d worksweek, so I asked the front desk if they had someplace they could store it, and they did. I enjoy the refreshed breakfast format that Fairfields have now, with the addition of fresh fruit to the menu. All in all, an enjoyable stay within government per diem. Will repeat when my travels bring me back to the Dayton/Kettering area and recommend!

I've visited here for my child's swim lessons. We so appreciate that management let's us have them here. Their facilities are in great condition and are so comfortable. We're I a guest paying to stay here, I'd be very pleased! The main entrance is clean and has the same nice decor I've seen at other Fairfield Inns. I also love that there's and extra large hot tub by the pool! I would definitely enjoy having that as a guest!!

This Fairfield was updated, but still very much the old style layout. The decor was comfortable and relaxing, but it was a cramped style lobby. The rooms were basic with comfortable bedding. I was not pleased with the cleanliness though. There were no real mattress pads on the mattresses, just the small flat squares with elastic straps holding them to the larger mattress. The bed skirts weren't straight and were filthy and in need of washing. The bathrooms were somewhat clean. They'd been wiped down, but there were signs of pink mildew in the corners. Overall, they were acceptable, just not what I'd expect for a Marriott hotel. The breakfast was good and the lobby staff and hospitality staff were friendly, looking you in the eye and saying hello. The housekeeping staff kept their heads down and just did their job. They put out a nice reception in the evening as well with heavy snacks and cookies. Not a bad place to stay, just could use a few improvements

Decor dated, maintenance lacking, and to top it off... I had bug welts while staying there. Other than that, staff seems nice. Everything else is lacking.

Beware of mandatory $3.00 parking fee. Leaves a bad taste in the mouth after the fact.

The food is quite good, better than expected in the bar. Breakfast - They offer hot food (not powdered eggs). Waffle station. Biscuits.and gravy. Veggie options for those.desiring it. Happy hour - From 1730 to 1900 they provide free food (nachos, hot dogs, pasta) and 3 free drinks. Choices are limited, but....free! Rooms - large and comfortable. Breakfast: they have all the standard items, and do get very crowded on certain days and time. Downstairs bar: rarely open, very inconvenient Front desk staff: friendly, professional and efficient Housekeeping: horrible, except the Sunday crew. We stayed here from Saturday- Tuesday July 5-9, on the 5th floor, the only day we received adequate housekeeping service was on Sunday, all the other days we came back to the hotel room, after 5pm, either the room was not cleaned OR the floor was not vacuumed , beds were covered up without underneath sheets were straighten or clean at all. See pictures, that's the bed after it was supposed to be made. I believe the hotel management do have all the necessary information to figure out who needs to be retrained on their job duties. Room: spacious, but...the air conditioning was super loud, even after we lowered it to the lowest level, it is still loud. Had to turn it off at times to get some rest . Body wash run out after 1 day staying, and I guess the hotel probably run out of the wall mount bottles so they gave us 2 small travel size bottles . No body lotion, had to ask for it. Amenities: there is a gym and pool on the first floor, small but good enough Location: convenient, next to shopping centers, restaurants and movie theater. Parking was easy. Next time when I am in the area, not sure if I will stay here, to risk for another unpleasant stay. Do recommend management emphasize on housekeeping qualities, since it is a crucial element when running a hotel.

I couldn't adjust it which was inconvenient. Thermostat was pretty responsive and accurate.

I was grateful that the hotel has quiet hours posted on the wall when the elevator doors open. Thankfully it was adhered to cos in a previous hotel I was at, the kids were allowed to run up and down the halls and carry on loudly without any adult supervision. My room was spacious, clean, but the HVAC was loud and had to be turned up quite high to get the room warm. Then it would become too hot and just turning it down one degree quickly cooled it off too much. It was a neverending dance. I didn't have time for breakfast cos had to get on the road early, but it was crowded and loud with all the kids and their parents. BTW, there's a wonderful Polish/Lithuanian restaurant called Amber Rose about 12 mins from the hotel that's excellent. Seriously delicious food. Definitely worth checking out! Luckily this issue was resolved before it was time to go to sleep. Finally, and maybe I'm asking too much with this last complaint, but most hotels recently have a full size/newer hair dryer. This one was the super old school teeny tiny dryer that couldn't even dry my thin hair. It shouldn't cost too much to upgrade these and it would be much appreciated.
