This is the worst Marriott hotel I have ever stayed at. I'm a gold awards member and stayed at hundreds of Marriott properties. First the hotel is scheduled for renovations but it should still be taken care of. Front desk made you feel like you were bothering them when you asked them for anything even just checking in. The key lock on the door was broke had to get a new key 5 different times. No extra bedding for the rollouts. No extra towels. Remote did not work for the tv. The radio charger was broke. The worst thing is the rooms were dirty. This is no way a Marriott should be ran!!

We've stayed at this hotel twice now. The first time in Dec 2020 was reasonable based off price so we booked it again in Feb 2021. Never again! We checked in and the staff failed to tell us the AC wasn't working. They checked us in, let us go to the room, and hour after I cranked down the AC to 60 and called about it being hot, they told us to give it another 20 minutes. It was midnight so we slept hot not wanting to wait any longer. The next morning when we mentioned it not working, the clerk said it had been out in the building due to recent storms and they hoped to get it fixed that day. The images attached speak for the nastiness off our room! The hotel is old and outdated and was a conversion to Spring Hill Suites not and original.

Beautiful hotel!! Still had that "new hotel smell." Breakfast included eggs, bacon, croissants, oatmeal with toppings, and incredible orange juice. The apple juice was watered down. Super sweet breakfast waitress! Nice little pool. Sparkling clean bathrooms. Convenient office area with 2 computers right by the coffee. Very very good morning coffee. The only reason I am giving 4 stars rather than 5 was the receptionist was less than accommodating at check in. I prepaid and called to tell the receptionist to go ahead and check in my parents. Ti said she couldn't without a credit card. I said "I'll give you my card in 20 minutes. Go ahead and check them in." She refused. I arrived to find my parents enjoying coffee in the lounge. They were out of regular coffee at 3:30pm, and my parents settled for decaf. Ti said there would be a $20 fee if I lost my 2 little plastic room keys. I stay in hotels all the time, and this is the first time I've been told this. I requested 2 beds but was told I could only have 1. I offered to pay an upcharge and they said no. I left my parents in the hotel and went to stay with my fiance. I had hoped to stay with my parents. The next time my parents visit Dayton, I will put them in a holiday inn because they don't threaten to charge me if I lose the room keys, and I can always get 2 beds if I ask.

Stayed in room 317. Room was clean, spacious and updated. The entire property has been updated, the pics on the Yelp listing were old. Free internet and free breakfast. Exercise room was clean and had new equipment. I did not visit the pool area. I would definitely stay here again.

Rewards - Drury is privately owned and does not use Bonvoy, Hilton, etc. They have their own points. Sign up is easy via email and the receptionist did it for me in 30 seconds. We have stayed at a good number of Springhill hotels and this one is one of the lowest rating I've…read moreever given to, here is why: Interior: standard Springhill decor, simple, and clean. Breakfast: they have all the standard items, and do get very crowded on certain days and time. Downstairs bar: rarely open, very inconvenient Front desk staff: friendly, professional and efficient Housekeeping: horrible, except the Sunday crew. We stayed here from Saturday- Tuesday July 5-9, on the 5th floor, the only day we received adequate housekeeping service was on Sunday, all the other days we came back to the hotel room, after 5pm, either the room was not cleaned OR the floor was not vacuumed , beds were covered up without underneath sheets were straighten or clean at all. See pictures, that's the bed after it was supposed to be made. I believe the hotel management do have all the necessary information to figure out who needs to be retrained on their job duties. Room: spacious, but...the air conditioning was super loud, even after we lowered it to the lowest level, it is still loud. Had to turn it off at times to get some rest . Body wash run out after 1 day staying, and I guess the hotel probably run out of the wall mount bottles so they gave us 2 small travel size bottles . No body lotion, had to ask for it. Amenities: there is a gym and pool on the first floor, small but good enough Location: convenient, next to shopping centers, restaurants and movie theater. Parking was easy. Next time when I am in the area, not sure if I will stay here, to risk for another unpleasant stay. Do recommend management emphasize on housekeeping qualities, since it is a crucial element when running a hotel.

I couldn't adjust it which was inconvenient. Thermostat was pretty responsive and accurate.

Opting for the loft suite next to the main Jailhouse, we got settled in after re-reading the easy-to-follow instructions from our hosts. The loft features high ceilings and my wife compared it to staying in a treehouse. The room was immaculate and had several amenities, like a coffee pot and a microwave, so one could enjoy breakfast in-house if that was in your plans. There's also an adorable breakfast nook under a window looking out over the trees. Yellow Springs, Ohio is certainly my kind of quirky and lived up to expectations. From Jailhouse, it's a short walk, say five minutes, down to the heart of the town, and the famed Little Miami trail. This is a perfect location for those hoping to enjoy what the town has to offer. Affordable, convenient, and excellent service from the proprietors. Highly recommended.

When we pulled up, we were amazed how beautiful this building is. The landscape was gorgeous(they have a garden area) and love the color of the building. The owner was great with communication, paid credit card over the phone and did not have to check in through a lobby/front desk, put in a code on the front door. That easy. We got the suite which was on the top floor. We walked in and loved it. It was newly renovated and really clean. Awesome decor. It did not feel like a hotel. There was a kitchen, (pots pans, utensils refrigerator, filtered water) and a keurig coffee maker (which is a bonus), widescreen tv (in living room and bedroom), dining area, extra toiletries if needed, extra towels, and building is solar energy My only con was the bed was not comfortable and the hot water did not stay long if you wanted to take a bath. I would highly recommend this place if you would like to stay in Yellow Springs. Only minutes away from downtown.

Bar is nothing to write home about...drinks are uninspired. Had a friend order an Ameretto Sour and it came with no fruit!!! Never seen that before. I checked in the evening before a blizzard this Christmas. During the night I was cold, and it sounded like a hurricane was blowing thru. Next morning I pulled out the curtain and found about 3 inches of snow in the room. The door didn't seal. I reported it on my way out that morning, and they send someone up to clean it, but didn't address the problem of the unsealed door. When I got home that afternoon my room was 64 degrees, and wouldn't get any warmer. I asked for maintenence to check my furnace, and he said that I had two outside walls, and the problem with the door, and I needed to move. Why didn't that happen with me freezing all afternoon when I reported the problem early that morning. In all the times I've stayed here, they never mentioned the Platium Lounge on the top floor. I stumbled on it. Again, that would have been nice to know since I've been a Platium member forever. And I paid top dollar for my breakfast the morning of the storm, and they were out of hash browns so subsituted and forgot my toast. I wasn't even offered a discount after all the issues. Still...it's the best Dayton has to offer in my opinion.

I was grateful that the hotel has quiet hours posted on the wall when the elevator doors open. Thankfully it was adhered to cos in a previous hotel I was at, the kids were allowed to run up and down the halls and carry on loudly without any adult supervision. My room was spacious, clean, but the HVAC was loud and had to be turned up quite high to get the room warm. Then it would become too hot and just turning it down one degree quickly cooled it off too much. It was a neverending dance. I didn't have time for breakfast cos had to get on the road early, but it was crowded and loud with all the kids and their parents. BTW, there's a wonderful Polish/Lithuanian restaurant called Amber Rose about 12 mins from the hotel that's excellent. Seriously delicious food. Definitely worth checking out!
