First of all, the toilet didn't flush correctly, it ran continuously. Secondly, the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work. After only two people showering, the entire room/walls were wet from the steam. It was crazy. Then, the smoke detector was chirping because it needed a battery change. Luckily this issue was resolved before it was time to go to sleep. Finally, and maybe I'm asking too much with this last complaint, but most hotels recently have a full size/newer hair dryer. This one was the super old school teeny tiny dryer that couldn't even dry my thin hair. It shouldn't cost too much to upgrade these and it would be much appreciated. Positives: The breakfast was great and the staff was friendly! Oh yeah- I agree with the review below about the pool being WAY over chlorinated. It was like swimming in Salt Water!

The bed was really comfortable. There is a small refrigerator, coffeemaker, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, and an in-room safe. On the negative side, there is no microwave oven. Additionally, there are no premium channels on the television. Just basic cable channels. This is a little disappointing since the room is premium priced. For restaurants, they have the rooftop The Foundry restaurant, and they have an AC Kitchen restaurant that serves breakfast in the morning. The breakfast is $18 dollars a person. It's buffet style. They had cereal, yogurt, croissants and muffins. There also was scrambled eggs, sausage, different slices of meats and cheese, and coffee as well as fruit juice and iced coffee options. They had a cappuccino machine but it was not working when we went. In the lobby there's also a mini store with various snacks, sodas and sundries. It's a nice hotel, perhaps a bit overpriced, but I think the proximity to the ballpark may be why. I had no major qualms about the room other than the lack of premium movie channels and lack of a microwave. One of the dresser drawers did have a box of pizza from a previous customer's stay,so housekeeping could do a better job of cleaning and inspecting the room prior to renting the room out to other customers arriving. I put the pizza box outside in the hallway. I would give this hotel a solid 3-star recommendation. I think more could be improved upon to justify the price.

Front staff and housekeeping are very polite and easy to interact with. The daily morning breakfast items were much more than expected. There were daily scrambled eggs and some type of sausage patties/breakfast meat, English muffins, bagels. A couple of mornings, biscuits and gravy were available. Daily offerings included cereal and yogurts, along with oatmeal and almost a dozen toppings. There was also fruit, juice, several coffees, and teas. Less that 100 yards away are several places for lunch/dinner. From approximately 5 to 10 PM there was a full bar (wine too) with many drink specials, and happy hour was 5-7PM. And the bartender, Melanie, was glad to make a recommendation or a favorite libation too.

We talked to the front desk and their response was " no one's around." Finally, my husband went downstairs to talk to the desk clerk who eventually came up to remove ants. Obviously, the ants were coming from some where and getting rid of them needed attention. The hotel was filled so we couldn't change rooms. This was not our first stay here but will be our last.

She charged me to the room . If you pay cash from the little food store make sure you get a receipt. The people in the South are much more courteous and I've never had to ask for a receipt. This will happen again to another customer. Please make sure you are not overpaying for anything. I sincerely hope that the people above watch videos to make sure employees are not scamming anyone. I will not book again with place because of this. I just want make the public aware.

A member of my party who is not an IHG member was asked which floor they wanted and was given a ground-floor room. Yet I was not asked about my preference at check-in. I understand preferences are subject to availability, but I expected more consistency and more attention to member preferences. More concerning, on the morning of checkout, I was told checkout was at noon, but around 9:20 AM someone knocked and then used a key card to open my room door while I was in the shower! The only thing that prevented entry was the interior latch. That is a serious safety issue. I do not know who attempted to enter, and an occupied room should not be accessed before checkout while a guest is still inside. This needs to be reviewed as a room security issue.

Typically staybridge pullouts are at least a queen or double size mattress and this was more of a Full, only one child could sleep on it and the other on the chaise part which wouldn't be long enough for an adult. So I guess 2 people could fit on it they really liked each other. We liked having a door, however or didn't have a latching mechanism so we had to prop a suitcase to keep it closed, weird. Matthew, thank you for the martinis and the old fashions! This location could easily be a 5/5 if the follow were addressed. The rooms do not have a dresser or chest of drawer (for clothing). A dish for the soap in the bathroom would avoid a mess on the countertop. And more importantly, when one is done, showering, the showerhead drips, as they all do, but the drips land on a steel plate and it echoes throughout the room like a grandfather clock or wind chime. The fix was putting a washcloth on top of it. It was very convenient to be able to use the pool at the Marriott across the parking lot as the pool heater was down for maintenance. There is plenty of parking and lots of places to eat close-by .

The only silverware available was metal knives and one lonely plastic spoon. When I inquired about forks and spoon, I was told it was on the tables - nope. Not a single table had silverware or napkins. The Corn Flakes were actually Frosted Flakes. Dry cereal, but no milk? I asked; none available. The two cups of yogurt? Expired. Bread choice? Seven, count'm seven, slices of white bread. Only one of the electrical outlets by the bed worked. I needed to charge two devices. Grrrr.

Worn out and dingy. Stains on the headboard, lampshades- dirt around the beds. Stains on the bathroom on the floor and painters tape hanging down from the ceiling in the bathroom. The fridge was making a gurgling noise, smelled like chemicals and was big cold. We unfolded the kids bed and the mattress was super thin and very nasty with big yellow and brown stains all over it. We called down for help, to ask for a new room and they told us they were busy and would call back in ten minutes...we waited 30 and nothing. We called back...by this time it was past 10:30 at night - we ask for a different room. They said they didn't have any available. We ask if we could check out and get a refund they said no. We told them all our issues and they said they could keep our cold things for us, but they couldn't replace the fridge or fix it for at least a day. They did come swap out the mattress for us. We had to ask for bedding for that bed they said it was by request only. They only have us one flat sheet, one pillow and one thin blanket for two kids. My son had an early soccer game the next day so we stayed we didn't have a choice since they wouldn't let us have a refund. I also want to note none of the ice machines worked and we had a big pile of garbage outside of our window. Absolutely terrible
