She was honest, kind, calm, patient, and supportive, taking 90 minutes to pierce both ears. She definitely is gifted to work with children, and anxious children at that. I was searching for someone to do a realistic face and many artists came close, but none were just, the right fit. I was doing a yelp search recently and I came across Modified Skin. The pictures that have been posted were perfect for what I had been looking for. I contacted the owner Josh Wiley, and we a set up an appointment. I told him what I was envisioning, and he came up with some amazing ideas for the final result. The shop itself is very laid back, and all the artists are incredibly friendly and creative. It was a full house the night I was in, and the place was a buzz with happy customers, myself included. I feel like this shop has more personal touches than many I have gone to in the past. Josh had a large selection of movies and before we got started he asked if I'd like to watch a movie or listen to music. I knew I was in for a long session and I'm a wuss, so I decided to pick out a couple of funny movies to keep my mind busy. After a couple of hours, my energy was running low, so he ran to Wendy's to grab some food. I have to say, this tattoo has turned out much different than my first ideas in the beginning of my thoughts, but it turned out much better too. I have only had the tattoo for a couple of weeks, and it's not even complete but it has gotten more attention and more compliments than I ever expected.
