Fairbanks Construction, aka West Shore Home, came to our home for a Kohler walk-in tub presentation. The design consultant did an excellent job, the sales manager was another issue. The State Division Manager, Dennis Uricola, tried to coerce us into signing a contract for a Kohler walk-in tub by giving us false and erroneous statements about the sales contract that we were being asked to sign. He stated aggressively that the loan was an unsecured loan when the contract clearly stated that the home would be encumbered by this loan until paid in full, and if the loan went into default, the loan could be called due or forced into foreclosure if said loan was not paid in full. When we pointed this out to Mr. Uricola, he sarcastically told his design consultant, "Cancel the order. They're just planning to default on it anyway." My husband replied, "Excuse me?" and Mr. Uricola hung up on us. It was obvious by his refusal to take responsibility for his actions, that he places his ego above the concerns of the customer, the reputation of the company or the company's financial bottom line. Because Mr. Uricola lied to us, we purchased a tub 48 hours later from one of their competitors. I do not recommend this company. It is a shame because Kohler products are excellent. read more
